Another stereotypical Indian Jones-like game. "Oh boy, it's totally not like Spelunky or La-mulana. C'mon, show some variety people, the indie scene is weak these days.

No Wii U or Vita support, I'm ultimately disappointed. Exclusivity is a **** and needs to die. Stop saying this is better than Halo or CoD because it was created as a partnership between the two respective companies that created those series. 343 and THQ would have done a better job.

This is on par with The Walking Dead videogames by TellTale. The graphics are actually amazing. The game captures the soul of the television series perfectly. You cannot afford to miss this if you are a fan of the show. There is still some debate on whether or not the events in the game are canon. It's actually better than The Walking Dead since you have more control over the outcomes. The minigames are pretty original actually and quite enjoyable.

A watered-down port. Bodies disappear now since the system can't handle so many corpses so you can no longer see the carnage you wrought strewn all over the land. Multiplayer is limited along with the graphics, which are a bit **** audio is a bit grainy now and I really wish there was official pvp. The game runs a bit slower now as well. Enemies now attack in minuscule packs which are quite easy to dispatch. Overall, pretty good.

A failure of an extension to the GoW universe. They tried balancing out the weapons and mechanics but ultimately failed. A mixed stance on the balancing act is the Gnasher. It was nerfed to punish the community for relying too much on it. Instead of playing the game in the way it was originally intended to be, the community ruined the games itself. They kicked back the active reload since most people would drain their first clip in the beginning of the match so they could active reload for the buffs and weapon load-out is limited to two weapons along with grenades. There are only 4 agreeable changes among the countless others. They shelved executions and the D.B.N.O system (which speed up matches and respawning but the game loses it's violent grandeur because of the exclusions.) Teamwork and tactics are virtually nonexistent. Another tough subject is sensitivity. In most games, sensitivity increases the speed of button input recognition. That's not the case in GoW. Sensitivity directly impacts the speed your character moves at and performs actions with. The defaults make you an unwieldy tank but ratchet it up, and you're a blur of hulking muscle. With high sensitivity, you can quickscope like it's frickin' CoD. It 's an overpowered hidden mechanic that matches generally hinge on. I could care less about the story since you have General Not-RAAM running around on a flying Corpser. The new (or should I say old? This is a prequel after all.) don't change the pace that much. Muliplayer is like watered-downed vodka. Sure, it's easier to swallow but you feel like you're missing something. Just rent it.

Stereotypical plot, nonsensical narrative, and cartoonish set-pieces. Just like a B-movie. Normally, I'd say that's all right if their intention was to be cheesy like EDF but it actually takes itself serious. Multiplayer is not too bad when comes to Extinction but they try too hard to wring out cash with dlc's that aren't fun and unentertaining. Be prepared to mute your headsets, you're going to listen to tweens, adults, and kids act immaturely simply because ****. The maps aren't too dynamic, it's all "ooh, I knocked down a tree!" And the like. There isn't much difference between platforms, it's just a bit improved on the graphics side.

Eh, it's the slightly more mature version of Fable. The sense of humor is awful along with the clunky combat. You can only accept and do one quest at a time, there's no explanation. Maybe Geralt has a limited mental capacity, who knows. I beat the game in a day and the side-quests are pretty craptastic. There's no variety in it and the love-making scenes are clunky and awkward and not to mention, hard to watch. Story's pretty bad and the narrative makes no sense.

If you're looking for narrative, go read the Infinity blade novels. It combines touch-and-tap swordsmanship with interesting mechanics. Finding items is like playing a game of I spy which is actually quite enjoyable. It shoehorns you with great graphics with equally great bugs.

The Dark Souls of mobile games. It's not too courteous to casuals and it takes a lot of time to beat. It's not one of those "I'll spend 5 minutes playing while I take a break", it's "Holy crap, it's been an hour!" Better than the first, since Infinity blade one told you to buy the titular sword and God King's armor with real money. It's a bit complex but ultimately worth it.

Pretty good game for otaku and hardcores alike. Pretty good story and surprisingly well for an rpg-turned-fighting game. Visuals are nice but a bit pixel-y and the combos are slick, so slick that even casuals enjoy it. It's an amalgam of a visual novel and a fighting game so that means you better be able to stand mountains of text. There's instant death moves but the button command is long and highly technical so it turns into a risk/reward desperation move that you're able to only use once per match. "Senpai better notice me before I crack his skull open!"

A bit meh, but if you're a CoD fan (because you don't know any better) you should feel at home in this shooter. This is basically the shooter equivalent to skyrim when it comes to bugginess and glitches. It's ugly as Skyrim but that's where the similarities end. The smart-gun is similar to the bfg from Doom but with many attachments and alt. fire modes. If you are that adamant about playing it, rent it. Why would you buy a licensed game, people!? A good game to rent if you have nothing better to do. Story's bare-bones.

Btw, Carmine lives! A good Saturday-night romp that feels like all those cheesy action movies in game form but in a good way. It's quite laughable how the series tries to act serious even though there's chainsaw guns and orbital death rays. They downgraded many of the guns and ruined the gorgon pistol. They thought most of the weapons were too overpowered for multiplayer so the hammer of dawn has a smaller radius and a meeker beam. The lancer is extremely overpowered though, you can run through multiplayer and easily win the match simply by running and revving the aforementioned chainsaw gun. They talk about balancing even though the mortar (which actually is quite easy to obtain and can actually bomb half the map) mulcher , and Vulcan are easily accessible. You actually have to pay for on-disc, level-locked content as dlc. Most of the maps are pretty awful and so is the audio whenever you chat with headsets. Still, the active reload system is ingenious and so are the boss battles. Too bad that most of the shining stars of the weapon list are rarely accessible in campaign. It actually presses your tear ducts when Dom passes away. I could care less for the new characters.

I love Horde and GoW, don't get me wrong. But if you think it's okay for them to bundle upgrades which they purposely left out of the main game just to make a quick buck is okay, we're going to need to talk. What's worse is this dlc was already coded into the game, so it was just paying to unlock something that was virtually but inaccessibly there on the disk the whole time. Shame on you, Epic!

The emulator on my ipod did fare WAY better plus it was free. It's a good ol' tactical Final Fantasy unlike those modern Final Fantasy's (Fantasies?) for casuals. The chiptune is great but if anyone says it's cliché, just know that this was a staple that reinforced those tropes all those years back. Bit pricey for a game I could just buy at a pawn shop for a $1.50. Has a bit of a challenge to it.

They ruined Infamous as a series in my opinion. **** Punch tried to emulate the feel of modern trends and culture but it feels so cartoony even though it tries to be serious. The powers aren't interesting, Delsin is shallow compared to Cole, and tries so hard to go with a "Rise up or step down" message that feels like hipster propaganda. Delsin somehow thinks writing on a wall is causing to cause a city to rebel when it really just ticks off homeowners. The story line feels like an rip-off of some of the X-men narratives. It's glitch for a next-gen game.

The game's a bit over-hyped. "Oooh, I can kill dragons simply with my voice" is basically half of what these reviews are saying. The combat is awful, you just stand there, not trying to dodge or anything. You just stand there, swinging or casting away while the enemies feebly try to fight back. The quests are one-in-the-same, kill that, fetch that, and go here are what makes most of these quests. Daedric items **** if you're high-level and Combat with dragons is unbalanced at high-levels. They just fly, doing tons of damage while you shoot at them with a meekly bow. The graphics look awful and the guilds are not that original. It barely alludes choice, just by making you choose what to say. No matter what, the same outcome happens either way. Even with all the patches, it's a chuttering mess.

They tuned up the combat from the previous installment and it really rewards players for exploring every nook and cranny. They tried pandering to the suggestions and ended up dropping humanity and replacing it with effigies. The armor and weapons are no longer that cosmetically pleasing and pvp is still unbalanced. Ganking is still a problem among all online players. They need better matchmaking so low-levelers aren't going against new-gamers+7. They made menus easier to navigate but the screwed up some mechanics such as item durability. All items wear out faster now and the Pharros' lockstone system is awful. You might want to stay in Anor Londo a bit longer. They took away choice when it came to the ending and there is no memorable npc's. All the bosses are rehashed with new paint and are similar to many of the bosses from the previous game. Upgrading and enchanting weapons is now a difficult and obscure process. An iffy sequel to say the least.

One of the most under-looked games of our generation. Ask not why the red ranger doesn't register the kinect gestures but ask instead why does the green stranger struggle with his blatant homosexuality. Serious layers underneath lie beneath the cel-shaded surface. Why do the rangers treat the yellow one differently, why are they judged by uniform color? The game focuses mostly on narrative rather than gameplay. Do not miss this diamond in the rough.
