the animation is great but if you are coming back for the great minion/despicable me hilarity, its for some reason almost non existent in this latest installment of the series. i heard three or four laughs in the theater i saw this in during the whole movie.

This movie is so bad, so long and awash in one dimensional, not believable characters especially the white guys. I’ve never seen Sean Penn act so badly, but maybe the writing is to blame. This movie’s positive ratings from critics are riding on its blatant political agenda (foment violence against immigration control) and race agenda (“white guy = bad”). Except for the inept, drug addicted main character father, every other white guy in this movie is a despicable racist. Profile any other group the same way and the critics would pan it and be outraged.
