Splatoon Raiders is an entertaining game with fast-paced action, colorful presentation, and a fun selection of weapons that encourages you to experiment with different playstyles. The online co-op mode is one of its strongest features and makes the more chaotic missions considerably more enjoyable.However, the first one or two hours feel unnecessarily slow, and the game takes too long to show its full potential. The bigger problem comes later, when the missions and objectives become extremely repetitive. Instead of introducing enough fresh ideas, the game eventually asks you to replay previous levels at higher difficulties, which feels more like padding than meaningful new content. The enjoyable combat helps, but it cannot completely hide the lack of variety.Overall, Splatoon Raiders has a strong foundation, satisfying weapons, and a genuinely appealing co-op mode, but it does not maintain that freshness throughout the entire experience. I had fun with it, but in my opinion, it is not the masterpiece some people are making it out to be.7/10.

The visuals and combat are absolutely incredible. After the first hour or so, the game can become quite frustrating due to its high difficulty. However, it does an excellent job of teaching you that sometimes the best approach is to explore other areas, find upgrades, become stronger, and come back later instead of repeatedly hitting the same wall.I hadn’t felt my heart racing during a boss fight in years—not even after my 10th attempt. And the satisfaction of finally defeating that boss is simply unmatched. Very few modern games manage to create that feeling.This is truly a masterpiece and one of the best metroidvanias I’ve ever played. The only reason I can’t give it a perfect score is because there’s no denying that it’s a very challenging game, especially during the early hours, and that may not be for everyone. 9/10
