How can you make a 8 bit game look modern ? How to use the best design practices today while maintaining the same "retro" fell of a old Mega Man game? Shovel Knight is the answer. It's a game that can be appreciated by it's own, not only by **** levels are fun, well balanced, and rewarding. The presentation (the 3D on this version is fantastic), music and dialogues are very well made.

It's one of those games you want to tell everybody to give a **** goes from exploring a cell with a sense of "Mario Galaxy style" to find the DNA parts and kill all of those nasty microbes, to fly around and shoot a lot of bugs coming to you in the classic shooting style. And the 3D effect is just fantastic (except for a few bugs).

This was my first eShop game, and it's just perfect. The music, the difficult, the visuals.. i loved every bit of it. It makes you wonder why so many games on eShop are so expensive, and can't give you as much fun as this.
