This is one of, if not the most beautifully crafted 2d platformers ever. Everything from it's spectacular level design, to it's sound track sounding like sweet honey, this game is phenomenal. It mixes difficulty with fairness wonderfully, if you fail, you'll realize why, not some jank or unfair level level design. The game provides an easy mode (on the switch version) to make it more accessible for more casual players, and 100%ing the game for that sweet hard mode brings more experienced players, such as myself, to pour countless extra hours into this game. Even after all that: beating every level, getting the kong letters, beating hard mode, or finding all puzzle pieces, I still feel drawn back to this game to either replay, or play co-op.

Sunk hours into this game with friends and the story mode. Its roster is massive with tons of diffrent fun movesets. This was my reintroduction into the smash series since 64, and this game made me go back and play the older titles. It is a quintessential Nintendo switch game, and even if you're not a Nintendo fan, this game is still a masterpiece.

Has a high skill set, and I like it for that, beating highs cores and playing with friends is fun. The game doesn't push any gimmicky mechanics mostly, and is fun to learn. Classic n64 charm.

I understand the game is meant to be for a younger audience, but a chill game is fun time to time. My point is that this game didn't click that well, and it's levels were repetitive. Its overwhelming amount of collectibles make you not want to 100% the game, it would be a slog. Overall not horrid, but not my cup of tea.

Wow. Just wow. The best game of all time, the scores don't lie. Great story, great gameplay, great combat, great puzzles. Phenomenal masterpiece. Highly recommend.

The best way to describe it is it's a good game but not a good metroid prime game. It strays away from the metroid prime formula too much, but I still enjoyed the game for what it is.

I got this game and got hooked. It is gorgeous for a switch game, and it's attention to detail is good. I felt attached to the characters and their problems. Finding traces of olimar was cool, slowly uncovering another intelligent lifeform was unique. The main areas of the game are all enjoyable with somber amazing music. The story mode is the main highlight, but the multi-player bingo battle, and time attack modes had me sinking hours into it with friends, chasing each other's high scores and what not. The combat and enemies are not anything special, but seeing their behavior and reading their scientific notes in the piklopedia was great. I replayed the game multiple times, wanting to collect everything everytime, but all great things has flaws and this game has some. It's way more light on time strategy, you'll probaly never run put of juice (besides certain points in the story, no spoilers) and it's easy difficulty makes the game go fast. The ultra spicy mode introduced in the deluxe version trys to fix these problems, but it still seems a little too forgiving. Overall the game is amazing, and the added side stories and achievements will always be appreciated.

Pikmin 4 was worth the wait. It's story, well not depth full, is the best in the series. The collectibles are enjoyable to collect and find, not being sluggish to get everything. All the diffrent pikmin types make great puzzles and combat strategies. There are just two problems though: if you use an abundance of ice pikmin, the game gets too easy, and oatchi, the new canine companion, makes the game super easy, being strong, beefy, and eing able to swim pikmin across water. If easier difficulty isn't a problem, the game is well structured and is overall amazing. The caves aren't a problem and add a lot to the game, too.

Pikmin is the real time strategy game. Pikmin's main goal is to put a timer on the player, making a certain pressure on the player. The timers not too strict unless you're a new player. The different Pikmin types get and can be used in cool unique ways that really add to the experience. Some people may say the games combat's not great, but I think it's the best in the series. There isn't many unforgivable fights or encounters that aren't avoidable, and the enemies bring diffrent things to the tables, needing to plan what to do with diffrent situations. I enjoy playing in a world where time is everything, and being miniscule adds a sleek loneliness on the package as a whole. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a refreshing experience with great design and puzzles.

This game gets critique for it's enormous size, back tracking, and janky repetitive minigames, but really, in my opinion, that's what makes it enjoyable. Slowly getting to that 101% seems so rewarding, then finally beating that one annoying minigame, it's super fun. The boss fights are good enough, and the diffrent characters have unique good abilities. It's a hidden gem, and I will defend it's greatness.

Phenomenal game. It has great level design, and extremely enjoyable charecters and settings. The music in this game is the cherry on top. It's not too hard, but has it's moments of difficulty, the game seems kiddy, but really is a beautifully put together game.
