So ein fantstisches Produktionsdesign, aber das Kampfsystem frustrierte mich irgendwann so extrem, dass ich komplett die Lust am Weiterspielen verlor. Die automatisch gesteuerten Mitstreiter bauen ohne Ende Mist und versauen irgendwann nahezu jeden Kampf, so dass man ständig größere Missionen abbrechen muss, was zu viel zu viel Wiederholungen führt. Wenn man nur alles selbst steuern oder der Kampf doch rundenbasiert ablaufen würde, das hätte es gerettet.

I play this game in 4P mode with my family and we have so much fun! GD-emu nullifies loading times and the graphics look really good with vga. The mini-games are varied, very exciting and often hilariously over the top, even including some with asymmetrical game play. Seeing your cards at your own VMU so that only you can see the numbers is such a unique detail and adds to the fun. There's a lot of interference by "Eggman" Robotnik, which turns a seemingly easy game into a tearful challenge. Same goes for the jewels, they enable a player to turn the tide in one turn, so you can never feel safe standing next to a precious stone. The balance between luck, dexterity and strategy is perfect and it has many unique traits and the pace really works. Don't hate this game just because it's another party game - find 3 other humorous gamers and enjoy this code!

So many reviews talking about what you don't get with this game, but let's talk about what you actually get! 18 Wheeler is a perfectly executed arcade-style experience. The Outrun of the Dreamcast era. Straightforward fun with amazing details - just tlook at the stuff sliding around your dashboard. Everything what's hot about Sega's arcade prowess is featured in this title and it's just done right: Thrill, exaggeration, playability, charisma, vibrancy. It is what it is and it does not lack anything in respect to what it wants to be. I love it and yes, I would have loved more of it.

Gorgeous game. Crazy story with great humor and even depth, if you can see through all the stereotype virtuosity. Brilliant bosses. Superb production design. Tight, challenging, rewarding and fair gameplay with enough distractions from the perfectly executed hack and slash to never get boring. Unbelievably fantastic art style. Every still could be blown up as a wall sized piece of art. I love it.

I loved this game. Epic dystopian storyline with great characters, superb moments and twists, always exciting (unique) battle system with tactics and action, huge boss fights, varied surroundings with distinct atmosphere, top-quality interface design, graphics absolutely OK for psp possibilities (don't know how anybody can even complain about this point), mission based progression system makes it even more rewarding. Game let's you experience things you might have never imagined. I'm impressed.
