(Spoiler alert) The main character loses her charms after 25 minutes. First she is a human with heart, but changes to a heartless psychopath. Personally I find it important that the main character is a person I can relate to, but her actions makes me as viewer want to distant myself from her. Where this happens? Her coldness and emotionless starts in the hostipal where she just kills the patient on a table. The reason is that she wants the doctor to remove the bag of drugs. A pity that the script writer chose to make her personality so cold. A second issue in the movie: In the movie she archives a high brain capacity, thus I guess a high IQ. But what does she do?? She attaches a silencer to her gun. Walks with the gun in her hand, every one can she the gun, and walks slowly to the operation room. How can such an intelligent person do that?? Or was the movie script writer having a break? Third issue: The actors in the movie don't respond to Lucy at all. She has a gun in her hand, and no one notices it. How unrealistic. The movie stops taking me on the journey after Lucy's cold and heartless act. Apart from the first nice 25 minutes, the movie has another good thing. Gordon Freeman tells one of the people who listen to his idea that is about the brain is used for 10% is actually not real, it's a hypothesis. So says the Gordon Freeman. In real science should use that word more often, even some "proven" facts might be false ideas, that look truthful.... (humans are masters in telling half truths) Any detective knows that truths that connect, are not always a real presentation of the facts. If the movie continued the first 25 minutes to the very end, the movie would receive at least a 7. But with the flaws mentioned here in this review. I don't want to give it a higher value than 4/10

What a marvelous and happy movie. With such heart! This movie gives the viewer hope. "Magic" is in our hearts, what does your heart burn for? Recommended for children and adults who lack "magic" in your hearts. Happy viewing!

I saw the original thunderbird puppets and this movie. I cannot call myself a hardcore fan, but that is not really required to comment on the movie. The movie is on itself nicely made. The special effects, the cars, etc are good. The acting is good, like Milady Penelope her acting. A English lady with style and can dish out a punch when required. The movie has tasteful jokes. If you like movies and do not require a huge dose of violence, but a movie that is enjoying and can be watched by the younger audience, have a look.

Spoiler allert The movie is enjoying. People make mistakes and good thing in the movie they learn from it. The most interestig part is the movies reference between Aslan and Jesus. If you have eyes to see, you will know that Aslan (Jesus) is truly is who he is. In the movie the final victory is archieved by asking Aslan for his help. In the movie prince Caspian was seduced to use magic to kill and destroy his foes, but everything has a price. If he did use the witch's magic, he would have to pay one way or another, perhaps even with his own soul. Nice movie, but here in the Netherlands the movie has been rated 6 years old! I think someone at the rating office made a big mistake! This movie is about dark magic, Death, murder, hate, love, Jesus, witches, etc. 6 year old children should not watch this. But in other countries it has PG rating, which is ntot really good as well. It should be 12+.

I don understand why people give this cartoon such a low review number... The good things about this cartoon: - Story has a deeper layer. It's all about the relationship between aliens, which you as viewer can reflect back to yourself. A heart warming cartoon that is at par with the greater productions of Disney or Dreamworks. Great ending. - The graphics are less good than the best cartoons, difference is like disney 10 and Escape from earth is 7.5, but hey , a good cartoon is a combination of multiple things that make it good or best. - As a cartoon lover, I like only the cartoons that are not too expensive and have a good morale. - Common jokes woven into the story. - Bad guys loose and good guys win! If you see this cartoon, watch it, you will not be disappointed! recommended!

This movie is enjoying to watch. The action scenes are great. The plot is not as straight and transparant, which is a good thing, because it will give you a few suprises. The ending and the Science fiction parts are good too. A movie with not only action but a deeper layer that could make you think about yourself.
