I would reccomend getting this game on PC. It is occasionally very fun but more often than not the X-box controls get in the way and interupt the flow of play.

A fairly average strategy game for x-box. The controls don't get in the way and there is an upgrade system, however for the most part it is fairly linear. It also has very good graphics. Other than that there is not much else to raise it above average other than it's voice control system. The game is good to take out and play a few levels every once in a while.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown6

It starts out fun but soon becomes dull and repetitive. Your soldiers see some aliens. The aliens kill a soldier. You kill the aliens. Repeat. Maps are premade and repeat frequently. No weapon variety just ballistic, laser, plasma in ascending order of power. Extremely linear wait to find a UFO or, more likely, defend an abandoned gas station. Can't procede without completeing certain objectives. Eventually it got to the point where I began to dread going on missions and ended up sitting around waiting for research to finish.

Gratuitous Space Battles6

A very interesting concept with lots of potential that misses several key points. The art is very pretty and simple so it can work even on older PCs and laptops. The concept is interesting but poorly executed. You can design your own star-ships with different weapons and attachments, but most need to be unlocked first and don't do much but perform slightly better than previous iterations. no huge weapon variety either it is mostly lasers, missiles and ion weapons. DLC races don't have much differences except cosmetic slight stat changes and a few unique weapons. During battles you can't really tell what is working and what isn't or what kind of weapons the enemy has. After battles there are charts you can look at but don't really explain much. It tells you your best and worst ships and weapons but doesn't go into much detail so it's kind of useless. Pretty much the only way to win is to just throw lots of cruisers and one or two frigates at the enemy but that doesn't get you much reward to improve your ships and still suffers massive casualties to an apparently inferior enemy fleet.. Also campaign mode is a paid DLC which seems kind of stupid to me. Collapse

Not at all a good game. Graphics are terrible and iffy simulation. Almost impossible to counter anything; the enemy has dozens of missile flying in from the other side of the map and you'll be lucky to destroy one. For the same price on Steam you can get the much better Fleet command with better graphics and simulation in a bundle with 688(I) hunter killer and sub command. Don't waste your money

IL-2 Sturmovik: 19469

great game with fantastic gameplay and excellent graphics. There are many enjoyable modes and campaigns to fly and have a really good time doing. There is a great damage engine to enhance the sense or realism and difficulty menu which lets you taylor the realism to your own preferences. However there are some complaints such as lack of tutorial, poor editor and the fact that many of the best planes are unavailable for use. For example if you want to do a mission with a bomber you are stuck with a smaller bomber or the TB-3. Also not that many different missions in single missions many are just take off or land missions. Other than that great game. But best for simulation fans.

Not much here just several levels and a couple planes per nation. Poorly defined objectives and terrible bombing missions.

World in Conflict: Soviet Assault8

The campaign is very well done and provides an enjoyable experience. However the multiplayer is pointless because no one uses anything but gunships and AA. All the multiplayer is helicopters shooting things and anti-air killing helicopters and one or two people with armor. Don't buy just for multiplayer and don't get the soviet assault expansion if you already have the original game; it does nothing but add a couple new campaign missions
