The film doesn't have any clearly defined (or evident) point and there is considerable incoherence. For a long time the assertions that the boy has behavioral / mental problems stand alone as mere assertions without persuasive evidence, leaving the viewer wondering what is going on (and who is the disturbed one).

It's nearly impossible to understand the words of the songs, in part because the sound mixing allows the audience to drown out the singer. The 3D tech used at the AMC theater I went to is seriously flawed, resulting in a significantly degraded visual experience. I did like seeing some of the behind the scenes "special effects" tech stuff, but there wasn't enough of that to compensate for a bad experience.

This film is alright until the end, which is completely incomprehensible. On the whole it's also a bit too slow. If you like looking up at the tops of trees in a forest, you might enjoy this movie, because there's lots of that. I'm not saying it's not beautiful, because it is, but it goes on too long. And then there's the guy working for the commercial developer who has a sudden (and hardly believable) life crisis.

I have no idea what the point of this movie is supposed to be. It doesn't develop a coherent alternate reality by which it can be understood.

This film is one of the most fun films I've seen in a while. The audience was laughing out loud. There are many wonderful moments in this film, but there is one (minor actually) that is unlike any that I have ever seen in any film that I can remember, although it is not uncommon in plays. I think it took me and everyone else by surprise. The acting is wonderful and the pace of the film is just right. I loved the choreography and enjoyed the music. It's definitely one of the best films this year.

Ignore the professional critics. This is a good film. Perhaps a bit too long, but not by much. All the parts do fit together in the end. The acting is very good.

Delightful movie with lots of philosophy references. It got applause from the audience I saw it with.

I generally don't like so-called horror films and I was hesitant to go see this one. I shouldn't have been, not on that account. There wasn't a single moment in the film that made me jump in my seat. It's bloody as can be, but not scary. I should have stayed home, though, because it's incomprehensible and not entertaining. A film like "The Matrix" is intellectually challenging, as well as immensely entertaining. You walk away wondering if you could be living in that kind of reality. Philosophers write books about it. "Us" isn't like that at all. The world of "Us" is totally imaginary, impossible and makes no sense.

It would be hard to exaggerate how good this film is. One member of the camera crew had to turn his head away from what he was filming because it was so scary. I was sweating in my seat and I already knew the outcome. You may not agree with Alex Honnold's view of life, but you will not be bored as you watch him free solo El Capitan. The scenery in Yosemite is gorgeous, of course. There's a lot more to this film than just the historic climb and it's all good.

This is one of the slower movies of the year's awards nominees. It is well done, but it is also highly predictable. If action films are your favorite, you might want to skip this film. Its got a rather disturbing childbirth scene, which I hope is not realistic.

Many scenes in this movie feel awkward and I think the main reason is that it is heavily focused on convincing the audience of the value of foster parenting. It is way too preachy.

I thought it was very entertaining and way better than the critic reviews indicate. If you like the music of Queen, you will enjoy this film, because it is filled with music. And because it is so greatly oriented to the music, pick a theater with excellent sound. I have no idea whether it is an accurate portrayal of Freddie Mercury's life, but it is not just about Freddie Mercury. It's about the band too and their amazing success and the legacy of their music.

I thought it was rather boring, compared to the Harry Potter Series. Perhaps it would have been better if there had been a serious background story, which was a strong feature of Harry Potter. Of course, if there had been a serious background story, then this movie would have been entirely different!

This so-called movie is just one boring chase scene after another and none of them are remotely plausible. Why hasn’t Tom Cruise retired already?

I hated almost everything about this film. The characters are irrational. It looks like a film made for an old CRT TV. The ending is all wrong. It is very slow and I was very bored most of the time. None of the characters are likable.

I watched this film in an audience of mostly women and there were very few minutes during the film when someone wasn’t laughing. I thought it was very entertaining and so did everyone else who saw it with me.

This film, based on a true story, is full of joy and a tribute to one of the best activist movements that lesbians and gays have ever created. This is not a film about gay rights as much as it is about one group of people helping another because they are all human and deserving of respect.

This is a mostly boring film about a man who (if you can believe the film) didn't have a life. Just because the man had a lot of power over a long time doesn't make him a good subject for a dramatic film. The makeup job on the character Clyde Tolson in old age was rather grotesque.
