They had a gem to play with, and they created - this. This 2nd installment is based on the first one and removes the fillers sections in the slumps of Midgar with other annoying open world sections. The story tries to bring forward a game that has no substance - combat is ridiculously hard if one wants to master parries, because this game is no Sekiro, or no Expedition 33, or extremely annoying after a while. Pick your poison. The *multiverse* insanity brings more confusion to a story that in the OG was clear, well explained, and coherent. There are good things, one can see that there is a production behind, but God, do yourself a favor and just watch a summary on YouTube. I played the first one and was not convinced, this is even worst. I'm gonna save 60 hours of my life for something else when the 3rd gets out.
