Fast powerful gameplay with a good variety of places to jump around and look for items while blasting away. Story is fine, not super original or haunting the way Returnal is, but this is a game for some long sessions getting powered up and fighting bosses. You want to see how to best unlock your potential with the guns and item drops in the game. Love the graphics and setting, I find the difficulty and challenge a fair balance, bosses are probably a little easier than Returnal. Highly recommend for fans of 3rd person action & platforming.

alot of reviews are based only on multiplayer, I was trying on solo, the game is miserable and unplayable no explanation how to get anywhere just huge messy menus and fumbling about looking for what the hell I need to do to get the game to click. The answer is you have to play with a group. The cool look does not match the abysmal gameplay.

I bought a PS5 to play this game, I am a fan of the series, have finished the story in the previous games (BL, BL2, BL3 and TPS). At first the game feels impressive and large, but the more the play time you put in, the more it feels like a drag. The weapons feel overabundant and mostly seem like clutter clogging up the inventory, and its made worse by the firmware system and ugly menu layout that is hard to use. They **** alot of the fun out of the series, technically it works ok and you can have some fun combat to get your moneys worth, but I am not even interested in the end game or UVHM since the game didnt do much to keep me interested or invested in the world. It feels thrown together without much care, only to make it big but it is just not much fun to run around in this world, I just wanted to see the end so I could put it down and say I beat it.
