Having a good time so far, story is clearly deep and gunplay is great. Only problem is the damn bugs. Some are hillarious, but most are very annoying. Best to avoid playing the game, until half are fixed.

Battlefield V1
Oct 17, 2019
Roughly a year after release this game remains an incomplete mess. It's too buggy, too many cheaters online and the setting is bizarre and inconsistent more closely inline with a steampunk game than WW2 game. Promised features remain mostly undelivered or underwhelming. Worst of all however it doesn't feature many sandbox maps like older Battlefield games and nor does it feature well designed maps like other first person shooters. Leaving this game with no particular outstanding map and maps that can be considered ok/good are only infantry focused, defeating the point of a Battlefield series game. I wouldn't recommend this game, not even on sale and definitely not for the abysmal single player.

Age of Empires Online3

The destruction of a once mighty franchise, this game defecates on its predecessors. The Games for Windows LIVE client will also try its best to prevent your play. This franchise deserved better, if you want to play Age of Empires stick to the original trilogy or Cossacks.

L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition3

Bit dull and boring really, story line doesnt get good until half way through. Rockstar would have been better served making Red Dead Redemption for PC rather than this. Feel like I wasted my money on this :( . Not worth £30+ from Steam. Maybe £15, but its certainly not very exciting or fun.

The lack of optimization for the PC is very disappointing with jittery frame rates, constant weird texture pop in and a very lacking PC graphics menu I was expecting more from the guys behind Doom and Quake. For me at least this game is currently unplayable, I'm sure it'll be patched in the coming months to fix all these issues, I hope they develop a better graphics menu. But at the moment this feels like a shockingly lazy port from the people at id I am so disappointed and regret pre-ordering.

Call of Duty: Black Ops0

The game was broken release with lag, crashes and all sorts of other issues. The PC version was a clear port done very badly. Tried it the other day after reinstalling for the first time since Novemeber, it still crashes. I will never buy a Treyarch or Activision PC Game again. Especially COD as from MW2 it was also obvious the PC version had been crapped on.

Total War: Shogun 210
Apr 20, 2011
The best Total War game since Rome for me. The modes are largely the same with Multiplayer receiving substantial excellent changes, another change is the new inclusion of Legendary mode on the Campaign which is also a fantastic new feature for Total War veterans. Took me 7 attempts but I managed to complete it on legendary, which gives a great sense of achievement. The updates coming to the game are also great with a DX 11 patch on the way and more bug fixes for mostly multiplayer as we go along. Thanks Creative Assembly!

Portal 210

The first Portal was but a taste of things to come, with Valve have succeeding in developing a game better than the original again! I haven't finished the Co-Op yet but from the singleplayer alone I'd rate this game as the best of the year so far. The script is the funniest I've ever heard in a video game to date, I cant recommend this game enough. And I cant thank Sony enough for allowing me to play with some of my Playstation 3 buds. Brilliant from start to finish.
