Kena: Bridge of Spirits8
Jun 10, 2023
I'm glad that this game, unlike many other, runs on the PS5 with a stable framerate. Kena BoS is graphically beautiful, has a good story and good bossfights that don't feel all the same and overall gives relaxing feelings even though the difficulty of the game is above today's consoomer standards. The unconventional player movement and minor directorial decisions are small drawbacks of this game. Nonetheless, for a debut title of a non-AAA studio, Kena did a great job.

Tomb Raider (1996)9
Mar 20, 2023
They don't make games good anymore. Yes, the controls are dated, and therefore, you will be happy for every jump you make but Tomb Raider offers puzzles and exploration of well-designed levels aside from traversal. Current-date games became too easy to control to the point where they literally play themselves. The corridorization and cinematization of modern games doesn't seem to cease (prime example: God of War Ragnarök).

A Way Out had at least an interesting plot twist. The game of the year, It Takes Two is the pinnacle of girlfriend gaming. Hadn't it been a split screen coop, the game would lay forgotten in 60/100 aggregated for its mediocrity.

Resident Evil 66
Mar 19, 2023
Even though controls are greatly improved over RE5 (freer movement, sights stay at the center of the screen) Resident Evil 6 remains an outdated-on-release game full of corridors and boundaries such as police tapes, debris and virtually anything else. Capcom made four interwoven campaigns and brought almost all of the old characters back. But the more you play the game, the more you encounter the same sequences again. Which makes you realize the shallowness of RE lore (the ending cutscenes are generic trash). They couldn't make a better, longer, more interesting story with new characters so they played it safe and bet on established characters and big ol' tiddys with jiggle physics but this doesn't save the game.

Resident Evil 55
Mar 19, 2023
Resident Evil 5 was released in 2009 and received 84/100 score. Now, the game was outdated on release (compare with Uncharted 2) yet it was considered positively by critics and many players. The player moves like a tank and shoots like a Wii shooter. Art design is bland and colors dull. Levels are just a sequence of corridors, autoscrollers are common. The DLCs Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape were much better than the base game since they were more similar to the older games or more action based, respectively. But the game is just a boring stiff third person shooter with awful opening levels.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan3
Feb 27, 2023
Man of Mrdán is an interactive film that tries to convince you it's a story with several different walkthroughs and outcomes. This is not true of course since every possible playthrough consists of the same levels. The only difference is when you kill a character their scenes are cut out therefore, making the game an incoherent mess.

Hellpoint0
Feb 27, 2023
Hellpoint is a true watered-down c&b torture for real masochists. You play as an uninspired robotic skelet in a maze-hell made of diarrhea textures. Every location looks so ugly and the same, you never know where to go. Everything is so dark you keep falling into pits. Bosses are slow and easy to beat. Your hits are so weak and the damage you take is enormous otherwise you'd beat every boss first try. Standard enemies are just shrunk defeated bosses. They often swarm and kill you in seconds because the world is brimming with corridors and enemies. Guest player ("support") can do everything except: collect some trophies ("trophies are shared" they said), pick up/interact with story related objects, interact with most doors and elevators. When host player ("spawn") dies, checkpoint restarts. The devs bait people with "no watered-down at all", yet support player is even blue (like water). I did not enjoy a single thing about this game. This must be the worst game I have ever finished. My souls cuck brother made me suffer through this and even wants to play NG+. What a maniac!

A Plague Tale: Requiem6
Feb 9, 2023
Requiem has bigger and vaster stealth areas than Innocence. Combat, weapons and throwables are now more diverse. Controls, especially movement, are slightly improved, it doesn't feel as rigid as in the first game. There's an interesting skill system which allocates skill points to you according to how many enemies you kill. On the other hand, upgrade crafting mechanic is downgraded. In the first game you collect 3 types of rare material and 3 common types of resources. In Requiem there are no rare materials and common resources are for crafting throwables only. Rare materials are reduced to a boring "currency" called "pieces". This is not enough to motivate you to look for materials or even bother opening chests. Stealth and combat make only 10 % of the game. The rest 90 % is either walking, "cinematic experience gameplay" (running) or cutscenes. Moreover, the game often dictates your walk speed, forbids you to use throwables in certain areas and if not, it can cancel the effect of them on rats. Even the largest area is for "exploration" only. This direction of the game is pretty disappointing. The game is 17h long (Innocence 11h) which is too much for a very story driven game. It has rather slow pacing with the beginning chapters being fetch quests. The story doesn't move until the 11th chapter (there are 17). The devs chose "great cinematic scenes" over gameplay. The game drops below 15 fps in fiery and rat flooded areas. 6.5/10

Assassin's Creed II6
Jan 31, 2023
Everyone says it's the best AC game to this day. I don't know. Must've aged badly. The controls are the clunkiest controls I've ever encountered in a AC game. It uses "universal button symbols," it didn't work in Prince of Persia two years ago. Why there can't be normal symbols? The graphics are bad for a 2009, there are games that look far better (Uncharted 2, Batman AA, CoD:MW2). The story's just a "pyramidal revenge hunt," you're going after people you don't even know their names. The game has "disposable characters," e. g. your entire family. I can't believe the deuteragonist is Leonardo da Vinci, he got way too much space. One of the few good things about the game is the protagonist, probably the only likeable in the whole series. But I don't get why all the characters have super thick "Italian" cringe-ass accent. Ridiculous. Easily the weakest entry in the series (for me). And I played AC1, Bloodlines and Unity.

Far Cry 34
Jan 31, 2023
Far Cry 3 is a typical Ubisoft piece of schütt game. Open world full of nothing but treasure chests. Besides the main storyline there isn't much to do. Few side quests worth s_it, repetitive camp captures, bounties, races and map revealing towers we all know from Assassin's Creed. There's a non-functional crafting mechanics which require you to do grindy work, hunting animals, picking plants. Simply put, you can't carry two weapons unless you skin two goats. This garbage mechanic is present in following year's AC Black Flag. But you won't get short on money due to UBIquitous chests. You can't do anything with your money, only buy guns and ammo, certainly not hides, right? The gameplay offers stealth even lamer than any AC game released in 2009 or later, health system is very forgiving, it's easier to die climbing a tower than in combat. The game didn't get hard enough to make me hunt tapirs or cassowaries. The story is teenage cringe with disgusting elements such as incestuous and coomer themes. You even get to choose a bad ending disguised as a coomer one. Shame on anyone who chose this ending.

Metro Exodus6
Jan 29, 2023
Metro Exodus takes place mostly at open spaces, there are no levels in metro. There are open-world levels that are maybe unnecessarily too big. Metro 2033 levels were such corridors and the game could even qualify as a "walking simulator". Last Light felt more balanced on level size. This is not a big deal though. The reason why I give Exodus 6/10 is due to technical issues. The game constantly loads in textures (+low frame rate and frame drops) and loading screens are one of the longest on PS4. It can take up to two (!) minutes just to reload your checkpoint.

What Remains of Edith Finch1
Nov 18, 2022
A Morbid, cynical and death-glorifying "game" for suicidal mfs. The gameplay revolves around committing suicide and watching people (mostly children) die. Every brainlet would say something very like this "ABSOLUTE AND UNMISSABLE MASTERPIECE, MOVING AND INCREDIBLY IMMERSIVE." Yet, the game is a walking simulator with a "commit suicide" button, the stories about characters' deaths are very bizarre, easily avoidable and glorified by the narration. The game is a two hour long emetic experience made by immoral sick bucks. There are games that tell dead people's stories without repulsive elements. Kena Bridge of Spirits. And on the top of that you play as 20 weeks pregnant 17yo girl.

A nice, relaxing two hour game with beautiful artstyle and design. In my opinion better than Toem (both games are about taking photographs). But sadly it's being heavily damaged by its ridiculously Mary Sue protagonist and greenie propaganda.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy4
Nov 4, 2022
Guardians of the Galaxy hardly makes the requirements for being an actual game. It has good characters, story and humor until the second third of the game when the story diverts to incoherent nonsense and it takes the humor down with itself as well. As of gameplay, combat resembles 1990's Tomb Raider. But Tomb Raider had more to itself. It was more about puzzles, climbing and platforming. And that was 25 years ago. Guardians offer just walking and decision making with the same impact as Horizon Forbidden West's decisions do. None. On the top of that, the game has performance difficulties on PS5.

The Ascent3
Nov 1, 2022
This game may visually look great (even though I think such level of detail is unnecessary or even counterproductive to a top-down game) but everything else is just atrocious. Brainless mag emptying and ability spamming is all this game offers. There's a story and lore, apparently, but I couldn't care less and honestly don't know anything about it. The alien design is the worst since No Man's Sky. The Angara from ME Andromeda would look outstandingly compared to the Ascent races. This game offers local multiplayer similarly to the Borderlands games. Hey, this game is a top-down Borderlands but with no guns at all. So, if you dislike Borderlands like I do, don't even consider playing this game even for free. The gameplay mainly consists of backtracking which **** even with the fast travel system because there are several floors in the game world and you can't just fast-travel through them, you have to take the elevator first. When you use the Pocket Mech tactical, you always 100 % experience a visual glitch after exiting the mech. What is this? Fallout or what?

Mafia II: Definitive Edition4
Oct 16, 2022
This 'remaster' is full of 'definitive' visual bugs and glitches, AI glitches and even gamebreaking bugs. Some of them happen constantly until you restart the game. Sound in cutscenes is sometimes out of sync and frames drop to units. The game also crashed a couple times. And the developers had the audacity to put their photos (as collectable wanted posters) into the game expanding the amount of posters from 159 to 189.

Mafia is an unfortunate game. Published almost a year after GTA III and PC only. Bad English dub, frustrating both enemy and friendly AI, unforgiving difficulty, boring beginning, the before-patch race, tedious driving objectives and what am I supposed to the gameplay. The game in its core is great, especially for an indie game. But those aspects above are often enough for a 2020's newcomer to uninstall the game after a few missions.

Dysmantle is an interesting survival game with good rpg and craft elements. It can be played in local coop. The game has great art style and level design as well as mechanics which are very thorough. But the game lacks depth in lore, characters and story which has a very simple goal but after every minor success, a new problem that will prevent you from succeeding emerges from nowhere until the very end of the game. The reason why I give it six is due to the last objective (1 minute before credits) that requires you to use base-defend gadgets which can be obtained by completing grindy side missions but until this point you could do just fine without them. So that feels like a foul trick to me.

Oct 1, 2022
General playerbase opinion on Ghost of Tsushima is massively boosted by the semi-failure of The Last of Us Part II to a major degree, and by weebs to a minor extent. Ghost has average Batman/Assassin's Creed combat, average gameplay mechanics, average characters. Locations are alike, missions are all the same: go somewhere, follow someone, kill enemies, press interaction button, kill more enemies. The game is not the worst (better than Tlou2) but I don't know whether it's worth the time playing, since this game is pretty long. There are some good aspects such as duels and the last monolog is based but that's it.

Sep 3, 2022
Mark Černý himself made a 3D beat 'em up game with controls that could fit into the NES controller and gave it a name where the first and the last letter is silent so no foreigner could possibly pronounce it, let alone understand. Two basic attacks (punch and weak jump punch), no combos and three special attacks (which you won't use because the gauge's never filled up) is desperately insufficient. The games provides with multiplayer where player no.2 is incredibly inferior to the host player. Camera always focuses on host, host dies - checkpoint restart, player 2 can't use special powers (which makes certain parts of the game unplayable), etc. Even the appearance of player 2 speaks for itself. Throughout the game you collect relics and gadget parts which you can use in your next or ongoing playthrough. However, you can't backtrack nor collect them in level select so you won't be able to actually use any of the upgrades unless you played the game at least three or four times. The only commendable attribute of the game is its relative difficulty which is neither too easy nor too frustrating. But why would you want get good in a game with jump-punch-dodge control scheme? There's a sequel which is a big improvement over the first instalment. It has equal multiplayer, more moves and combos and even multiplayer combos. Still, it's nothing to coom about.

People at Naughty Dog and Sony are freaking genius. What an astounding economic and marketing move! After the divisive Part II Sony played it safe. "Remaking" a PS3 classic, what can go wrong? Nothing if you don't touch the original product at all and just import graphics from part II. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided4
Jun 26, 2022
The game's main theme is a "racial" conflict between natural people and people augmented with software and hardware implants. The game tries to make you to sympathize with the oppressed augmented people but the game fails ultimately to do so. What it doesn't fail to do, is to be racist to Czechs (Mankind Divided is set in near future Prague, Czechia). Everything is wrong. Pronunciation is laughable. Literally every poster or sign has insane typos, grammar errors, non-sensical syntax, word by word google translations. The language is so bad even scam ads have better Czech. Local names, surnames and proper nouns make no sense. "Czech" people have "Russian" accent. Even things like license plates, political system of Czechia or landscape don't resemble Czechia at all. The developers didn't give a single microscopic fůck to make it look decent. I know most people won't notice a thing but why set the game in Prague then? Other than that, the game is quite good. I like that you can accomplish your objectives various ways (many paths, options, stealth vs loud approach, skills, etc.) The game also provides a lot of optional dialogue and side missions done well. But the poor language was so omnipresent in the game there was no chance not to see it. And it damaged my experience severely.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time10
Apr 18, 2022
Since the remake is nowhere near release, and it's been almost two years since the first and only trailer, I'm going to look back at the original. I played Prince of Persia The Sands of Time for the first time at the age of seventeen. That was three years ago. Even though it was 2019 and many more advanced games were out by that time, Prince of Persia managed to completely enthrall me. What I find superior and unique about the game are mainly these three things: Combat, parkour and time-bending mechanics. And most importantly how they are integrated into each other. Combat is relatively simple and can be mastered easily. You attack with a sword and a dagger which you can slow down time with, paralyze enemies or even rewind time if you've done something unwanted and want to try again. The dagger requires sands of time which can be obtained by **** it from a downed enemy. If you don't manage to do it in time, the enemy will get reanimated. Acrobatic elements like overhead jumps and wall jumps are great to use and watch thanks to dynamic camera angles. The combat has many animations (attacks from different positions to enemies) which are making it look smoother. Parkour is unique in this game. It is so entertaining and challenging. I don't know about any other game with climbing that amusing. It is often incorporated into puzzles and as well as the combat it requires time-bending. Other minor things are great. Such as hidden upgrades. Health regaining system and foreshadowing visions at save points are interesting too. Art style and level design, also story and characters are excellent in this game. The Sands of Time is a perfect game in every way and there is so much space for mistakes to be made in the remake. For a game from 2003 it is still very unique and there aren't many games like it. SW Jedi Fallen Order is probably the most similar but unlike Prince of Persia it focuses more on combat rather than traversal.

Borderlands 33
Feb 6, 2022
Borderlands 3 is the cringiest instalment of the Borderlands series. The game is overflowing with dych jokes and boomer zoomer-wannabe jokes. The villains are the most cringeworthy villains in the history of games. They just keep bragging about how they obliterated your friend over and over again like no one cares, not even the protagonists. The technical state of this game is horrendous. Almost unplayable in splitscreen on base ps4. Constantly loading and deloading textures, even reticles have lowpixel versions! Textures deload to lowpoly when you turn your back against them. The game crashes often, leaving you to the longest loading screen with assclap dancing in a total silence which makes you want to delete the game right away due to cringe overload. Frame rate is pretty bad, worst is on vertical split screen. When opening the menu, the game freezes for a few seconds. Every text in this game is so tiny you have to lean towards the screen to read the stats. Some texts are so microscopic that they don't have enough pixels to be readable. Borderlands 3 at least doesn't force you to complete side quests in order to be able to play the main mission on a decent difficulty unlike the older games which is probably the only improvement in this game. Edge climbing, slides and ground slams are pretty close to useless. If you want to play a Borderlands game (or a "split screen game with your friend") you should definitely try one of the older ones since they are in so much better technical conditions rather than this cringe-emanating piece of craptlap with more coital/coomer "jokes" than jokes.

Moving Out5
Jan 3, 2022
Moving out seems like an interesting idea for a coop game but it's executed poorly. The game is suspiciously similar to "Overcooked!" but it's made by a different studio. The striking resemblance is increased even by details like wheelchair characters and most importantly the level select loby where you drive a vehicle around to pick a level. But unlike Overcooked Moving Out is a 100% brainless game. And that's the sole but major problem of this game. In Overcooked you have to make various meals based on different recipes while being pushed by time and equipment limits whereas in Moving Out you just move all object from a house to the truck and that's it. There's literally no need to think since the game doesn't give you any other challenge nor it penalizes you for damaging properties. To compare the experience with some similar games, it's if Overcooked had just one recipe consisted of only one ingredient throughout the whole game or as if "Papers, please" had just one information to verify. This game may have nice artstyle, animations, interesting heavily sarcastic humour or good transwhite pedophile bootleg music but the game is one huge chore to play and it's repetitive since the very first level. I guess this game falls into the "games to play with your girlfriend" category.

Control: Ultimate Edition7
Dec 27, 2021
Control's combat offers more possibilities than previous Remedy games, especially Alan Wake. However, Control doesn't stand up to Alan Wake with its storytelling. The story is harder to grasp than Kojima's games are. That happens because the game does not start from the beginning and the lore is being told by hundreds of dull collectable logs. The world is very destructible which leads to a massive amount of particles which lead to frames dropping below 10 fps on base PS4. This is one the worst performances I've ever seen. Apart from the combat improvement which is a welcome innovation, Control fails to surpass Alan Wake in any other aspects. Absent characters, short play time. Control tries so hard to connect with Alan Wake, it almost feels like Remedy tries to "fan-trap" fans to buy Control with its DLCs. Control is apparently Remedy's best selling game since Max Payne, yet they gave this game for free three times just this year. Something I can't understand.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory6
Dec 21, 2021
Splinter Cell is a self-proclaimed "Stealth Action Redefined" and Chaos Theory is arguably its best entry. Well, it's a pretty bold statement for a game that's solely based on the contrast of light and darkness. So, stay in the shadows and you literally do not exist for the guards. Naturally, you have to make the levels so dark in order to have somewhere to hide. This game is even darker than "Layers of Fear". Luckily, you have night vision goggles which glitch sometimes when entering a new area. Just amazing. Simply restart the level. It's nothing out of the ordinary since you've been constantly reloading saves for every missed shot since the aiming is like a lottery. The enemies are so big bren they find a restroom with turned off lights and nobody in it suspicious. So, now we have guards that know which specific room should be lit and which doors closed in the whole building but can't see a guy with three shining bulbs on his head in the shadows. Unbelievable. This game is praised for its excellent graphics yet the guards' faces look like foching goblins! The sound in this game is imbalanced. Sometimes you can't hear conversations that happen right in front of your nose. And the music is terrible as well. Rumbling af even if there's no threat anymore. Chaos Theory offers a coop multiplayer. The levels are more interesting than the single player campaign's levels. That's pathetic. The relation crashes whenever your wifi goes weak for a second. The coop is full of glitches (even game-breaking). This makes playing it a painful experience. As a whole, Splinter Cell is just a glorified Xbox franchise and feels like a cheap Android knock-off of Metal Gear Solid, a much better franchise. Which is predominantly a PS franchise. But don't worry, some are available on Xbox as well.

The level design in Styx: Shards of Darkness is awesome. The levels are big and have a lot of paths and entrances for you to choose from. Especially the vertical size of the maps is surprising. The game provides multiple options how to complete objectives. There are many ways to solve tasks either with your equipment or environment. As for the missions themselves, they show variety. The game mainly focuses on stealth but there are parts that include bossfights, platforming and puzzles (though the stealth element is still prevalent there). Crafting and skill system are done well. Negatives are clunky jumping, short-cycled AI and dull story. Since Styx: Shards of Darkness is one of the less forgiving stealth games it's not a very popular genre among the consume.

Predator: Hunting Grounds3
Oct 1, 2021
Predator Hunting Grounds is bad idea. It hardly works on paper and the developers knew it well. Yet they still released this game and it's a boring mess.
You complete some routine tasks (meaning holding the square button down and running from A to B) to win and that's it.
The predator isn't even scary, it plays a very different game from yours making its appearance in a match just a slight annoyance.
Having an AI in a multiplayer game is pretty dumb especially if the AI itself is dumb (which it is, if not the dumbest).
The game is still in a sorry state a year past its release and softlocks woefully often.
Overall Predator HG is somehow even worse than Friday the 13th the game only the controls are slightly improved but the atmosphere is absent.
And lastly, it's another šitty game to the PS Plus collection. Sony must be real happy that this game bears a name of a famous franchise which is their only excuse to put this on PS+.
In other words: How to give away poor games and lose as least money as possible.

Sep 2, 2021
Aside from a bunch of minor improvements such as car radio, more precise aiming and better controls when using parachute, wingsuit and the grappler. Other than that Just Cause 4 does things basically the same way as Just Cause 3... or worse. The story is primitive, missions are similarly repetitive. For a 'sandbox' game there's not very much to do (other than completing hundreds of vehicle/wingsuit stunts). In my opinion, there are only two positive or unique things about JC3. The wingsuit gameplay and the world design. I consider JC3's map one of the most beautiful of all games. JC4's map is far worse. Bigger but way duller. JC4 has at least stable fps and don't run on 10 fps when things are exploding. But at what cost? Textures are constantly loading in, sometimes you find yourself falling through a texture that's supposed to be solid but hasn't loaded yet. Also lighting engine is kind of weird so JC3 is graphically better. In conclusion, Just Cause 4 doesn't improve on its predecessor in any major way and feels rushed.

The beautiful environments and kill cam make it really enjoyable to play either. SE4 is a huge step up from SE3. Graphics, animations, environments and AI are far better. Mission objectives are not as repetitive as in SE3. Levels are larger and environmentally more interesting. Item mods (e.g. suppressor) can save you waiting for a noise. The game doesn't feature its predecessor's bugs.

Wilmot's Warehouse6
Aug 3, 2021
In this game you arrange 200 kinds of differently patterned blocks in a warehouse in order to have them in reach when selling them.
The game throws approximately 100 new blocks at you every in-game quarter of a year while you sell only a tenth or a fifth of that amount at the same time. This means majority of the game (80 %) is not finding the right stock but tidying them up…which is the boring part. Shame. There's a better chore game – Paper, please.

Death Stranding7
Jul 25, 2021
A typical Kojima story. You don't know what's going on, you don't know what's real and what's not. Kojima combines supernatural with normal as he always does to make an escape door for plot holes. He uses two realms to make a possibility for a character to appear in the same realm twice or something. And at the end he will reveal to you every metaphor and allegory he achieved by combining several languages and cultures and nonsense (so it would fit the story) like it is some big bren thinking. And there you are, speechless, clueless and amazed by Death Stranding's brilliance. Kojima-san = genius. 10/10. No, not really. The story tries to take itself seriously while at the same time breaks the seriousness with wtf moments (licks), references (good ol' fashioned boss fight), cringe (princess Beach) and the "connect all America" silly propaganda. Though the characters are quite likeable, the cutscenes are often too long and boring. But the real problem is that the gameplay has very little to do with the story. They are almost two separate things. I feel like they both work on their own and don't need each other. The gameplay is plain. Get some crates from point A to point B. Have an inconsequential small talk with a recipient. The protagonist doesn't even answer them. Probably Kojima productions couldn't afford Norman Reedus to record those lines. Hammer x through these conversations. The controls are pain in the ass. The on foot movement is let's say ok but vehicles, both close and gun combat, menuing - real bad. Not to mention the bad input layout. Even though traversing is stiff you can climb almost every steep and rock, no need to use ladders. The open world doesn't appeal to me. I find it dull. Perhaps more trees, less rocks? The "paramultiplayer" is kind of interesting but meaningless for the game. On the other hand you won't find a game like Death Stranding so at least it's somewhat original, I guess. I would be very surprised if it would get a sequel or a spiritual successor though. I'm glad Kojima didn't forget to write his name it like 20 times in the credits. Kojima, Kojima, Kojima.¨ Rest in peace Silent Hills.

Red Dead Redemption 28

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an enormous game. The insane amount of detail cannot be found in any other game. Most of the time it runs at 30 fps which is pretty impressive for a game like this. Only my base PS4 sounds like it's going airborne any second. It's a typical Rockstar game, meaning countless hours and dozens of repetitive main missions which feel like errands.

It's a plain port full of problems such as frame drops, crashes and stiff movement controls. The game itself isn't bad at all of course but at this point you can simply just dust off your PS2 instead of spending 15 bucks on this.

I don't know what the developers were trying to do. They focus on how bad and sad war is in the singleplayer, but they have women with artificial limbs in the multiplayer...? They spoon-feed you with incohesive, nonsensical SJW story-telling about how particular groups of people do not get recognition just to later say "We prefer fun over historical accuracy." ...?? Call of Duty: WW2 looks like a masterpiece compared to this.

The Last of Us: Left Behind1

Together with "H-L Episode One" "Left Behind" is definitely the worst DLC in the history. It's very short (2h) and overall feels like scrapped levels and is very unnecessary since it does not add anything to the story nor new mechanics. The whole DLC is made to excuse a certain act of two underage girl sharing a kiss. This, of course, does not have any reason or value other than to pander to the L+ community. My review got canceled recently after almost 11 months of existence. I hope this time I didn't do anything vronk in regard to the snowflake culture.

Half-Life 2: Episode One5

Episode One is just a bunch of scrapped levels sold separately for extra money. Right after Left Behind, it's the worst DLC to a critically approved game.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider7
Jan 17, 2021
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is probably and hopefully the last instalment in this reboot saga. Shadow is loyal to its predecessors. Super long jumping, map overflowing with useless collectables in Ubisoft style, Lara's uncanny English accent, Lara's plot armour thicker than Drake's and Ellie's combined. The story is a recycled Rise of the Tomb Raider's story, just relocated from Russia to Peru. I really don't understand the "voice-over immersion". Why have NPCs talk in their native languages when Lara always answers them in English? Nothing lost in translation. Overall, the gameplay is slightly more enjoyable than in Rise. It has craftable outfits which give you slight advantages when worn. The game forces you to wear two outfits for ¾ of the game. Well done, devs. The whole series lack good characters (the only one being Jesus from Rise) which makes Tomb Raider look like a weak alternative to Uncharted. I'm glad journos (except for Lucy the virgin-shamer) finally realised these games are not extraordinary in any way and lowered their scores from 9/10 to 7/10. Stop making one hour long DLCs and bring the old Lara back.
