Bought the game expecting 4P co-op. Have to play 1+ hour to unlock the co-op mode (called Avatari Squadron) which opens up after Chapter 2, Part 2, Log 1. Then find out the multiplayer mode is completely broken. Nobody on PS5 (PSVR2) can create a multiplayer session. Everyone on PSVR reddit, PSN Profiles forums and the games discord that has tried, plus me and 2 others I tried playing with all get consistent Error Code 1 and the developer is thus far not accepting any responsibility or making any commitment to investigate and fix the problem. They recommend opening a bunch of TCP / UDP ports, but even after that is done, it still doesn't work. So the only playable part of the game for us is single player and once you reach end of base story and into end-game content where game gets more challenging and really expects & requires co-op (because AI partners are worthless), you won't be able to because co-op multiplayer isn't working.

It requires a team of 4 that aren't shy about using headset / microphone (which is built into the PSVR), but if you have a group or are comfortable making online gaming friends with whom to play together, this is probably the best PS Aim controller game on the market today. Maybe even the best VR game including all the VR game options on PC.

King's Quest Chapter 1: A Knight to Remember10
Aug 5, 2015
Played with my kids in audience and it became a Knight to Remember. Just a really charming adventure from start to finish. After that first completion, kids have requested to play it again and again, and in doing so I have discovered the game can still be fresh and have new puzzles and solutions for you if you make different choices along the way. I have used up the 4 save slots for 4 completions, each time having a different Hideous Beast Eye as the Tournament Entry Ticket. Most other parts of the game also offer 2-3 different ways of progressing. Your actions also change the cutscenes between King Graham and Gwendolyn (his granddaughter) that take place between major parts of the story of Chapter 1. Although there was no cliff-hanger like you might be used to from Telltale Episodic games, I and kids are still eagerly looking forward to Chapter 2 because of how much we enjoyed Chapter 1.

The Order: 18868

I was impressed by many of the things other reviews acknowledge that this new IP game did right (graphics / animations, story, characters, and weapons), and I wasn't overly disappointed by the things that other reviews have pointed out as short comings (pacing, overall length, linear combat). I would be very interested in a sequel that continues the story, and the improvements I would hope for are limited to improving the overall pacing and making the combat scenarios less linear and more abundant with some stand out memorable set pieces.

Destiny: The Dark Below1
Dec 15, 2014
Destiny is a game that continues to become worse with each new patch that tries to force more players into bland repetitive grind activities for increasingly useless rewards. The Dark Below is roughly 60 minutes (story mission) + 20 minutes (strke mission) + 30 minutes (raid) worth of "new" content with the same enemies you have aways fought, to cycle into your repetitive grind gameplay time. Oh there are also 3 new crucible maps added, but you can only play them in their own playlist, not mixed with the larger set, and they ****.

Trials Fusion2
Apr 17, 2014
In most games, even if you don't like the game at first, if you give it a chance, something about the game generally grows on you and you end up overall more positive about the game. Trials Fusion is not that game. This is a pretty short game, and increasingly short depending on your skill and patience with the games generally overly sensitive (i.e. poor) controls and poor level designs (especially later into the Skill/Expert levels). The reason for this is the game developers don't know what is fun about their game, and for some reason feel that 10 second checkpoints of extremely hard (essentially luck based due to fussy physics/controls) and un-fun bunny hopping levels is what the later levels **** like this should be. I would have hoped as you went further along, the more spread apart the checkpoints would get with longer stretches of needing to maintain good momentum to make the jumps and land correctly, but instead the checkpoints get ever narrower leaving the player to get lucky or die trying for each successive bunny hop section for whole length of tracks. The local multiplayer mode (no online) is also pretty worthless. It is again just small checkpoint sections pieced together as players rubber band each other forward until the end of the level and then whomever had the least "faults" is the winner (regardless of who crossed the finish line). The track editor and level sharing might be one saving grace for the game, but as of now, most of the created levels I tried were buggy, but it did have a few stand out tracks that were better than the included tracks in the game. I should also mention that the game crashed most of the times I used the share feature to post a screenshot to Twitter. The PS4 would allow me to Close Application and submit a bug report whenever that happened so only the game was crashing and not the system. Chances are if you get this game, the more you play and progress, the more you will end up hating it, and I doubt anybody would truly consider playing this game as "fun". If you are still interested in the game, then at least save yourself some money by getting just the $20 version instead of the $40 version. They are the same game currently, but the $40 version includes season pass which will bring some added content/features down the road.
