Very fun to play. Watch out you may shut down your real life! Mods galore. If you don't like something or want to add something else there is most likely a mod for it. Or you can make your own mod. Gave it a 8/10 because of all the blood. Bethesda has been getting very gory with their games for the past decade. Way too much blood and gore. It's way over the top. A lot more fun after modding the blood and gore out of the game.

Still play this game. Everything needed in a Medieval geopolitical simulator. Espionage, the AI can and will use the same tricks on you. Had all my generals rebel one time. Some were maxed out. That created a huge problem. It took me a while to clean up that mess. But my conquest of the old world was merely delayed. Found out through using espionage later that's a action you can take on enemy kingdoms if one of your spies is hired as their general but it also depends on the spy's skill level. Setup marriages to get more land when the in laws pass on. There is so much to this game besides conquest! My only problem is the resolution is for older laptops. It doesn't even have 720p built into the game. But, hey, it's fun and that's what games are supposed to be. Fun and replayable.

I gave this a 10/10 because the game creator is still updating the game and coming out with bug fixes 5+years after the initial release. It's not as pretty as Hearts of Iron IV but Supreme Ruler Ultimate has way more game play value and the tech tree advances into the future realistically. A fun game for history buffs and anyone who wants to live their fantasy of alternate history. A fun sandbox scenario to play is **** World 2020 were the USA has split into 50 countries and most nations of Europe and Asia have also split into smaller countries. The developer has released a map editor and made it easier to mod their game.
