lovely game that has not aged well. that is as conclusive as you can get now. when sixasis controls were cool, this came out. when this came out little else good was out. it is still a good game, probably better than a crack in time. better guns and storyline, and great humour. this is the best r and c on ps3. but some features are now uncool.

portal 2 is a bizarre game. it is also probably the best this year. it is a game that in the future will be seen as revolutionary, fantastic, and classic. gameplay is good, premise is good, script is good, execution is good and it is a fantastically well rounded game in all areas. the great cast add to the perfection. i am not here to lecturer you on what you do in the game. i am here to tell if it is good. it is. very good. i would reccomend it to the whole family, as for a fps, it has a low level of violence, and is generally light hearted. great game improved. buy this now. or later. just make sure you do so.

this game is very, very, good. no denying that. you could release this game in 12 years and it'd still be good. however, there is something missing from this game. it feels perfectly formed, large, never boring, and the gameplay is as good as asylum. however, following up asylum is a hard, hard task. the original was nigh on perfect, having great progression, great scenes, set pieces, and a sense that where you went next was up to you, but that following the story is the best option. city is like this, but the ridiculous scale that it is on dampens things a bit. there is little feeling of enclosure, no fear, no sense of danger, and following the story seems less meaningful, even if it is a well thought out one. it has no wow factor anymore either. the items you had at the end of asylum are still here, and there is little new, aside from the ridiculous scale of the game. there is also no real incentive to come back. you play it and it is hard to persuade yourself to turn it back on. i have found this with other people, who simply have no desire to find out what happens next. some games like zelda, uncharted and arkham asylum did, but for some reason, this just doesn't. not to say its a bad game. not whatsoever. but i would reccomend arkham asylum over it. its not a dissapointment, but unlike arkham asylum, something feels missing. and that is the most depressing sensation you can have in a videogame.

Ridge Racer 3D

the game is good, but lacks what ridge racer on other consoles has. the graphics are also very muddy in an attempt to allow for the 3d effect or to get ready for launch day. it lacks any real tuning, the insane custimisation options of recent ridge racers, amount of content, and feels like it could do with some online racing. the single player mode feels quite odd, as the races don't really feel like racing in a sense, more gunning after each car in front, and trying to get a good time rather than overtaking. good gameplay compensates for some of this, but like your parents, i'm not angry, i'm a bit dissapointed. the gameplay is good, but lack of features make this a bit of a flat experience, and no matter how awesome the tracks and gameplay is, it should simply have more, and the 3ds is capable of more. overrall, it is good, but still feels rushed beyond belief.

this game, in its own right, is nigh on perfect. no one can deny that. perfect dungeons, story, gameplay, puzzles... it, in its own right, deserves a 10. but as it was assured to be, it is the same as ocarina of time. the new control features improve things, yes, essentially making a dungeon playable which was terrible in the original, but aside from that, you don't have much else. the 3d is also not used as effectively as in other games such as star fox 64 3d. however, the game itself is perfect, and i'm not writing to rate improvement, i'm here to rate the game. and really, when a game is this good, do you need much improvement, even 13 years on? this, along with star fox 64 3d, answer that question with a definitive 'no'.
