Flaked: Season 20
Jun 6, 2018
This show badly needs to be canceled. Terrible acting and writing. Finding out that Will Arnett relapsed because of this s--t makes it even worse. Its bad enough when acting takes actors to dark places, but when it's the price being paid for something that isn't even good...... Sigh. I really hope Will comes to his senses, or at least Netflix does.

Flaked: Season 10

Bad enough of a show, made worse by knowledge that Will Arnett has relapsed because of it. I hope with every fiber of my being that he comes to his senses and drops this. If not, I hope Netflix cancels it.

The Following: Season 10
Apr 5, 2015
Imagine if someone was inspired by the ridiculous plot holes in the Dexter finale to write a whole show. That's the Following in a nutshell. I'll try to be as brief as possible as to why this whole thing is simply insultingly preposterous. -Cults don't work like this. To start a cult you need a charismatic leader with some type of guiding philosophy made to inspire. All this leader does is simply recruit other psychopaths. This could be negligible if not for the fact that it's the entire premise of the show. -Everyone on the show (except the killers) is a TOTAL F---ING MORON. The writers use this to make their story happen. It's cheap, lazy, and ignorant, but they can get away with it because in today's world lack of realism is, to some people, apparently only a problem if used for happy endings rather than sad ones. It's discouraging really. Horror genre diehards will defend the show saying stuff like "this is the real world. killers get away." But it's not. Cops and Feds aren't this stupid.

House: Season 83

The show has fallen apart. Only Dr. Chase is even mildly interesting in this season, and he himself gets a rather lame attempt at a focus episode. Show should've ended much earlier.

Spare yourself. In the early episodes of Season 7, House, at times, appears to have regained the sense of humor it had been missing since season 4, if not earlier. There's also a new, actually interesting doctor in the early ones, and even a couple of pretty good patient cases. But that isn't enough to redeem the poorly executed A-story which dominates those episodes. And don't even get me started on the 2nd half of the season. Complete trash. If you haven't already heard about the ridiculous stunt in the finale, spare yourself the frustration of witnessing it firsthand. House was once a great show, but its run should have ended long before this train wreck.

House: Season 67

It begins strongly, with the bold new direction of a redeemed House, as well as some other new dynamics. For awhile, we almost feel like the show can return to its greatness. Then it slowly falls apart, in ways that aren't even really worth getting into. At first it seems like it could just be a symptom of the show getting too tired at the end of a long season. But rest assured the lousiness is set to follow the show from there to the end.

House: Season 56
Feb 15, 2015
It starts and finishes strong, but that doesn't feel like enough to make up for this season's unforgivably bad second act. Part of the blame for this falls upon a forced plot piece. Part of it is a bit more complicated. The quality of the patients of the week has been in decline since season 3, but it was forgivable thanks to the writers handing us interesting plot pieces (the cop in season 3, the search for a new team in season 4) and the fact that characters were still very well done. Here, the show is simply running out of good aspects. The titular character begins to feel more pathetic than intriguing. The new team is basically guilty of the same offense. My advice: jump ship before you even get here.

The patient cases are already starting to get boring, but no worry, because the process of working them is made more interesting here than in any other season. House takes its seemingly depressing task of replacing our favorite team and makes it fun, and while it isn't quite as well executed as I would have hoped, I'm willing to forgive it thanks to the fact that it follows with a much stronger arc for its closing episodes. *sigh* Enjoy it while it lasts folks, this is the last consistently good season of the once-great show.

House: Season 38

This marks the beginning of the show's transition from being a typical network show that resets itself weekly into one which focuses more on longer, arching plots. It also marks the beginning of the show gradually becoming less about Patient of the Week and more about the life of the titular character. It works alright at times here, and sometimes it even feels like a step up, but at other times it feels forced and has you missing what made the show great. Certainly still a good season, but at the same time it marks the beginning of the end.

Strongest season of the show in my opinion. It builds on the strengths of the first season, namely: the interesting cases and the strengths of its cast, particularly front man Hugh Laurie, who shines in this season as the medical equivalent to Sherlock Holmes. The show hits its peak here, and while that's a bit of a shame in the long run, don't let that stop you from enjoying every second in the meantime!

Hooks you in right away with Hugh Laurie's top-notch performance and the interesting cases he's handed. Truly fascinating at times, it'll at times have you shaking your head at its brilliance. Oh, and it's pretty funny at times too. Watching the later seasons really makes me pine for the level of quality that this show was at when it began. Kick back and enjoy some great television. Pretty sure you've got at least 50 episodes or so before this begins its transformation into a **** soap opera.

24: Season 73

Easily the show's worst season. For 6 seasons Jack Bauer knew that bad guys had to be stopped no matter what it took. But enter season 7 and all of a sudden we have this bulls--t about "remorse", and it only gets worse as the season goes on. By the end Bauer even claims that the law is more important than saving innocent lives. How moronic. This show was once smart enough to know what the right thing is but now they've been led horribly astray. Its almost as if the ACLU planted writers in attempt to make the show's philosophy match their own. Pathetic. That's the best word to describe this season.

Dexter: Season 110

The first was truly the best. Season 1 was Dexter at his darkest, a chilling monster with a demented moral code. It also ends perfectly, unlike all the seasons which followed it. Great television. If you're new to the series I would even go so far as to suggest you treat Dexter as a miniseries and only watch this season. (if not, at least stop after season 4.)

Do I even have to go over how horribly written this final season was? And I don't just mean the finale, either. Almost the entire time I felt myself struggling to even stay focused. The entire character of Dr. Vogel was a colossal waste. Oh and I'm sure you've all heard about the numerous awful plot hololes that plagued the finale, but I'd like to add one I saw in the episode before: How the f#%@ did a FEDERAL MARSHAL fail to recognize Saxxon after his face had been all over TV for almost 2 days? The only reason I gave this season even 1 point was that Dexter stabbing Saxxon with the pen was kinda cool. Aside from that, entire season was garbage.

I was actually considering ditching the show before i started this season. Season 2 had been alright but season 3 practically put me to sleep. But fear not! The show rediscovers itself here, returning to the top-notch level it was on back in season 1. The villian is delightfully dreadful and complex. Things start out vastly interesting, slow slightly for a couple episodes but then pick right back up. I won't spoil anything but lets just say the 9th episode of this season is my favorite episode of Dexter, ever. That, and John Lithgow certainly deserved an Emmy for his performance (not sure if he got one). The only annoying thing was the yet-again insertion of a Bautista subplot that no one cares about. Other than that, mostly perfect season.
