Starfield is everything I wanted after FO4, Skyrim, FO3, oblivion, and morrow wind. I love this new universe and i look forward to where it's going in future iterations. Well done bethesda. <3

Dying Light 2 Stay Human7

This game is breathtakingly beautiful, the sound design evokes emotion as you play the game. You can get lost in this world, in it's beauty in the interesting characters. Holy mackerel the story telling got leveled up a ton between DL1 and this game. I feel like the storys are a little "less hokey" then in the first game. The factions give an interesting dynamic. Edit: This started as a 10 out of 10, until i got to the ending now it's 7/10. Techland pulled a cdpr and the ending is a mess. I'll come put this back to a 10 out of 10 if they make the ending better. This was not ready to come out. Great game, please ignore the haters. If you liked DL1 you are going to like DL2 even more.

Cyberpunk 207710

This is my favorite game ever, even with the visual bugs, even with other little bugs. The story, world, mechanics are exceptional. I look forward to the DLC and to bug fixes and more content to flush out this amazing world. Anyone who has issues this game is worth the wait, the story is moving, the world vast and fully explorable. The setting, crafting system, everything is there. Once this game gets so much patches (ala witcher 3) this is going to be a must play masterpiece for folks who don't even like the cyberpunk genre but just want a GTA alternative. I can't wait until there are RP servers to be able to RP in night city like we can RP in Los Santos

The Last of Us Part II10

I didn't know what I was expecting with the last of us 2. But holy mackerel this is a raw ride with very big emotional swings. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be impressed by a lot of bold decisions. I really like the risks in story telling, and the story. You don't always get to pick the way a story plays out as much as you'd like it to. Well done naughty dog, you took risks and I'm glad you did. 10 outta 10!

Mafia III10

This game is a worthy successor to the past 2 games. The story actually feels more immersive to me then the second game did. The soundtrack makes driving around in your car enjoyable. The driving can feel a little gamey, but there is a toggle to turn on realistic driving. The patch also fixed a lot of my minor gripes. I'm very happy with this game so far. Well done team!

I was not on the hype train so I did not have my hopes set unrealistically high. This is a pretty good game for what it is. There will be pop in, repeating textures, and some frustrations but you can still lose yourself for hours in exploration.

This game really scratches an itch that i needed to get scratched. I enjoyed the spiritual successor to alpha Centauri. I'd give this game a chance for folks on the fence.

Europa Universalis IV10
Aug 16, 2013
"Europa Universalis IV is the game you graduate to when you’re tired of Civilization" Edge I completely agree with this sentiment and will echo what others said. This is a big jump up in terms of tutorials and learning. The game has yet to have any major bugs that ruin the game for me. It's been a total blast so far to play and i'd have paid $60 bucks like a typical AAA game. In my play through with england there were many times where i felt my back was up against the wall. I was bordering on bankruptcy then had to fight hordes of rebellions but i managed to make it through and rebuild. There was a war with France vs the rest of the world, me (england), Spain, Portugal, Vienna, Scotland, etc and they had about 130 ground units. They had occupied most of the typical french territory plus almost all of spain. I had to make a seperate peace and give up some of my territory in NW europe on the mainland but it stopped the horde. Fast forward 50 years later with the start of the Protestant religion and France starts pulling itself apart from religious strife. The same coalition is able to go in and dismantle France piece by piece. All that remains now is ile-de-france and the area all around it are the smaller sovereign regions. This game is an amazing roller coaster you have to try to believe.

When i get to play the game i really love it. Though small city sizes are a pain, missing some of the features i liked (power, water lines, subway). But this always on stuff is really a downer. Maxis is still one of my favorite game companies but this might just put a dent in that luster for me.

Stronghold 30

I love the stronghold series but i freaking hated StrongHold 3. It was a complete bugged mess that was so hard to beat it was virtually UN-enjoyable. I hear there is a new patch out that i will try and if it helps the game i will give a better review.

Making History II: The War of the World9
Jun 11, 2012
When this game came out it was quite buggy but muzzy lane did a great job of cleaning all the major bugs up. For a game this complex you will have bugs but it's a matter of how the developer comes through in the end. This game is more then just a wargame simulation like the Hearts of Iron series. There are a multitude of other things that effect how your simulation will turn out. If you like complex this game can be complex and if you are more of a beer and pretzels guy you will enjoy this as well. 1 point deducted for the trainwreck the game was at release. Similar to any Hearts of Iron titles we know about.
