South Park: The Fractured But Whole2
Dec 4, 2018
I must state two facts: 1) I think trey parker and matt stone are brilliant and I adore southpark and enjoyed stick of truth. 2) I finished this game and I'm writting this review after I've finished all of the side quests and main story. this game is a huge disapointment, while the first game was hilarious this one was funny as watching your favorite franchise get ****... seriously someone out there really stressed "your father **** your mother" so much it was irritating and not funny. the combat system was like majority of old jrpg which is alright as far as I'm concerned but I've litterally *FORCED* myself to end this game. everything was so shallow although it tried not to, eg. having you define your sexuality/ethnicity had 0 impact while in the previous game just by selecting "the jew" class people reacted to you differently... here you get an encounter with the "we don't take kindly . pc p. teaches you to punch if you hear a micro aggression but it's maybe once in a fight and the same crappy things... even the addition so cousin kyle will interrupt you in every other fight is simply meh. it feels like SP guys were not behind this. there're few cute poits like taking kanye west's mother on a unicorn that farts to heaven (which is a flappy bird minigame) or the last scene (butters is so awsome) but other than that? the story was interesting as watching grass grow, so ok, you had fun ripping on marvel/dc movies and how they're overly commercialized with plans for a sequels and all that but really is that all?

Berserk and the Band of the Hawk2
Mar 5, 2017
berserk and the band of the hawk is a dynastysamurai warriors -like game but it's simply a waste of time even for a fan, I've read the manga, watched the anime and movie, but this game doesn't do it. it has a decent graphic models which is loyal to the source and the cutscenes are taken from the movies but that's about the only good thing I have to say about this game. this game fighting style is so simplistic and repetitive, every mission is about the same and by the same I mean - almost the same map, same models , idiotic ai . to me it feels like there's a template for the game just different models inserted, you could've easily do another game and it all feels the same. bosses such as zodd are laughable in normal difficulty and horseriding is absolutely bad. it takes you through the story but the only thing that gives you the feeling you're playing it is ONLY the cutscenes, specially when I compare it to the PS2 berserk game, there everything from cutscenes to fights were related and felt like a continuous story, here it simply bored me. I literally forced myself to play the game but couldn't get into it. there're some obscure decisions in this game like equipment is just for stats but nothing interesting, really reminds me of the old dynasty warriors I've played ages ago but back then it felt fresh but this simply refuse to take off. you can upgrade your rings and etc but it all feels very cheap and in each and every step of the way it feels like a bad template that berserk models were pour into... even when you unlock characters and try them it's the same story, mechanic is the same but the moves are different. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone not even a die hard fan(the kind who checks constantly if there's another manga chapter!) would find this game disappointing and boring

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution3
Sep 22, 2014
after playing Naruto shippuden UNS 3 full burst and enjoying how CC2 delivered the story with the familiar combat system and all I hoped this game will surpass that yet, this game could've been a fine DLC but it shows how greedy the owners of this franchise are. let's start with the basic thing there's no story mode! the game "main mode" is a world tournament , you'll fight against 3 enemies at once while the basic combat system remained the same you cannot execute ougies(ultimates) nor use the awakening mode while gathering orbs from the enemies, you'll have a rail and npc that interrupts you but if the enemies all gank you together it's simply annoying, even though i beaten them all I felt no difficulty even when i reached the S rank tournament, while the animation itself could be good it didn't ran smoothly. cinematics in the entire world tournament thing were the same to unlock team mates you had to preform idiotic quests like fight guy, neji and etc then run there, fight blahblah blah and run there, bring this bring that, you can have your girlfriend/wife to send you for the same quests and no i'm not joking and all of that so you can occasionally use that team member to do something cause ofc to preform ougis you need to chase the red orb.... worst thing is the mode "Ninja escapades" which is an extremely short story sequences that sometimes contradicts the manga itself (eg. itachi recruited before kisame) but that's not the real problem it has 0 story value specially cause in ngs3 you felt part of the story here it's like now fight this, now fight that "oh you're stronger i'll join you" except orochimaru's motivation and even his were a joke... the two uchiha chapter was interesting but too short and again had the same problem you didn't felt part of the story,I'd take few quick time events anytime instead of showing us some "real" animation, I buy movies to watch and games to PLAY, and if there's a cinematic I expect it to be good and the majority of cinematics in this mode doesn't give a thing to the game. those two modes could've been easily a nice dlc including roster and all 15euro for this DLC could've been ok for the average naruto fan but 30-40 euro for this game is a hoax. good: huge roster, graphic is true to the anime/manga, the animations are done well, the combat system would've been awesome it wasn't so repetitive in the tournament mode., if teamed with certain characters you may get a new ougi (sasuke and itachi) but on some pairs you don't (itachi and kisame?!?!) bad: animation can be stuck sometimes, world tournament story is ****, ninja escapades offer barely any gameplay or holds any water, no ougi variety (NH2 and NH3 had tons of variety), no jutsu variety, could've been a dlc but costs like a new game, no new story, repetitive, can be finished in less than 6 hrs of gameplay, **** quests in between the world tournament mode.
