lets be honest.... this game was hilariously rushed. Glitches everywhere, at least the first days. In my experience with this game I havent encountered that many glitches the ocasional referee disolving, sticky ropes, or limbs that have rag doll like physics. Nothing that was not present on previous WWE2K games (except dissolving refs). Now gameplay wise ive been reading constant bashing to the controls changes. I mean cmon theyre basically the same controls, Reversal with Y took sometime getting used to, but tbh I kinda like it better that way, same with the finishers. My Player history i liked. Same as before i've read about the complains of the PS2 graphics. And having played through the career I can say that i really enjoyed it. The story had me hooked and nods to last years career was a nice touch. Halfway through career mode I noticed a slight improvement in graphics, NPCs mouths moved while they talked, animation were more fluent. Guess they did that part first. Facials on the wrestlers are weird but the overall presentation I think its better looking. Hopefully today's patch fixes some of the issues to make it a better overall experience.
Let's just say this, a videogame is supposed to be FUN. And the division, like Destiny is lots of it. They're both Ok games, they haven't reinvented the RPGs or the videogame world. But they`re great fun games. And I know many reviewers just don't see it like that, they see it like work and forget the true nature of videogames. That said this games has it flaws. Character customization ****, not many options when you create your agent, still seems like you're on Beta. Moments when in game you are just walking with no real threat. Not many weapon variety, but firing your weapon is tons of fun. Dark Zone is intense, and I do mean intense. This is where you do feel the threat. Trying to extract some weapons just to have some NPCs come and kick your arse is hardcore. There's also the threat of not knowing if the other players will betray you or help you. Storywise I don't care much, I mean it's not that bad, but the fun side of the gameplay just wants to keep shooting and killing every RIker or Cleaner instead of listening to the story.
Boy do people love to hate this game! Bought it the first week, only played the beginning, do to work issues couldnt play it till 2 months later! But here it goes. As a massive fan of the first trilogy I was hyped for thise game. It delivered in some instances and in others it was just average. The story: what is an integral part of a mass effect game? the story, right? well in andromeda they seemed incapable of laying aninteresting story, All we got was a boring, uncreative story filled with not so good jokes. seriously, is this a marvel movie? too many jokes, TOO MANY UNFUNNY JOKES!!! Characters: I had mixed reactions with them, while I cared for some, mostly all of them irritared me. Specially Ryder. That for me was my main problem with this game, could never get behind ryder, he is not a credible leader, wouldve been better controlling his dad instead. And seriously. why the jokes? i felt i was watching goddamned avengers while listening to the conversations, too many, forced jokes upon us!! Drack I liked, Cora I liked and Peebee I liked. The rest of them where just there. Hated Liam specially. Gameplay is ok, wouldve liked to stop time and manage and order around your squadmates, more customizable assets on your team. at leas could we change the color of Liam's armor? Final thoughts? Its an Ok game. Nothing special, but not worthy of a 5 or a 4 that most people are giving it. Hell most of the people here if an eye bugs out but the rest of the game was a masterpiece they'd give it a 0 out of 10 just because that one time the eye bugged out.
Let's break it down. This games is FUN! But to call the best game ever made? Not even close, hell i wouldn't even place in my top ten favorite games. Now, this game doesn't bring anything new to the game, fanboys and critics seem to forget that things this game has, older games have already done it. Graphics are gorgeous, but dull at the same time. Inventory system is tedious. To me it's just a game to enjoy and have a good 2 hour session getting home from work. Not bad, but not that good.
Let me say that after AC3 I gave up on the series. While AC3 was not a bad game it had an awful protagonist, and lackluster campaign, and I mean Connor's. I enjoyed playing as Desmond in the present time, and wished we could just get a game with present day assassins and not just random ancestors from Desmond. But where I was surprised was in the direction they went. Having you be an employee of Abstergo's new program where you watch the lives of several assassins for "entertainment" purposes. And I must say the only reason i played this game was because it was free on XO, and I greatly enjoyed it. The ship battles are amazing and addictive. You just want to go around blasting ships and getting resources to upgrade the Jackdaw. Great story and lovable characters. Huge game with thons of collectives. Just an amazing game.
I'm one of those guys that think AC hit it's peak with the Brotherhood title. But I'm also an Ezio fanboy. We get the conclusion to Ezio's story and in a way it started going downhill frome here. Great game, but I still think it's a glorified DLC.
What happened? AC2 and AC Brotherhood where great games, Revelations was a glorified DLC. But I thought they would make AC3 amazing. It had potential, but unfortunately we got Connor (sigh). Couldn't care less for him, even the missions with his father were better than what we got from him. Can't remember much of the storyline and frankly I didn't care for him. The bow and tomahawk were great. But i just couln't get into it.
this is how you make a series of games. Mind you this should've been the last of the Ezio games. They took what made AC2 a great game and improved it, this game is amazing. tons of secrets and items to found, great side quests, great storyline and great characters. Just an amazing and fun game.
Talk about a surprise! While I bought it just so I could see what happened in the story I was shocked that it was actually a fun game. They improved every single thing from the first game, and even though it's still repetitive it was Fun. Ezio has more charisma and personality than Altair had, and that makes a big difference. You have a protagonist who you care for and you want him to get his revenge. Then the story is awesome again, great sidequests and treasure hunting, all the upgrades you can do to the Villa, it just keeps you hooked.
I remember watching the trailer and thinking "wow, this game is gonna be awesome". Fast forward to the moment I played and realized I was wrong. Now, this game is Ok, obviously not the masterpiece I was expecting, but still descent. Now the main problem is the repetitive nature of the game. Go and assasinate this guy, return to the creed, and repeat ten more times. I played the first 2 missions and got BORED! I didn't touch the game for 6 months, just the thought of me playing it was enough for me to get bored. Finally decided to play it again, and even though it was repetitve as f..k I enjoyed the story. And I have to say that was the only thing that made me buy ACII, wanting to know what will happen to Desmond and Lucy. Not an awesome game, repetitve as hell, but great story and great visuals. Give it a try.

Wow! Never seen such divided opinions for a Halo game! Let's talk about the campaign first, while not the best of all the series it sets the mood for the final game in this trilogy and it does an acceptable job doing so. I give this game an 8.5, or I would if you could in Metacritic. First of, the campaign: It makes the good girl cortana into a bad girl cortana. It makes the Chief a little bit more human a task 343 has been doing in their games. Both Spartan teams have their moments, didn't really care that much for Osiris Team, Locke is mediocre at best, the 2 girl spartans are OK, Buck is awesome always crack me up. Blue Team is BA! Loved that fight scene between Locke and the Chief. Loved the fact that they modified Halo and made it a little bit different, but they still maintained that halo essence. You can now aim with all your guns!!!! Lastly, the Multiplayer: I've been a halo player since halo 2, hell it's the reason i didn't buy a ps4. But I also complained and always dreamed of that day when they would make halo mp a little bit more faster, more customizable, and more challenging. And well, they took a step in the right direction. It's faster and the ranking system keeps the mp interesting, you try and have a greater ranking every time. package system ala Battlefield or CS:GO which works fine, you can either pay to win or play to win. Customizable spartans, and weapon skins, with more armor and skins with every update. They even included different versions of the same weapon, stronger and faster plasma cannon or a faster shooting shotgun. While it's not perfect, it's a very good game that shows that 343 are making the right choices and listening to their fans. They're taking a Bungie franchise and slowly giving it the 343 touch.
Great game. But why am I giving such low score? Well, I don't think this game should've been 60 bucks, it was a 15 buck DLC. Getting that aside, it's a well made experimente by the Bungie team, great atmosphere, you walk through the ruins of New Mumbasa and just see the chaos and destruction but with all the quietness it's a relaxing game. Has my favorite halo weapon, that silenced SMG it's beautifiul!! Great characters, brought us FIrefight which I love!! But the lack of a real multiplayer, and the fact that had a 3-4 hour campaign and a full retail price made this game blend in with all the mediocre games the 360 had.
This game was the first Halo game I played, and it was my first 360 game. Loved it, and played through and through, multiplayer was awesome, fast paced and intense at times. Story was Ok, at least it got me interested in playing other Halo games. Co-op campaign great bonus, Forge was incredible and theatre allowed you to record those great matches or just those hillarious kills or deaths in a game and let's not forget some great machinima moments.
GTA clone? possibly but it had it's own vibe and style. Gun fughts were fun, dialogue was fun, it is a fun game. Great soundtrack with few but catchy songs and great graphics for it's time.
Lucha Libre gets it's firts game, not great, not terrible, just meh... Has the cheesy nature of Lucha Libre but lacks depth, not many options to create your luchador, not enough game modes, just meh..
Big Duke fan here, got a laugh or two from the jokes, had a nostalgia trip, but this game just feels unfinished and unpolished and not fun. The classic duke humor is still there, but that's just about it.
love games that surpise you. I didn't know ANYTHING about XCOM and only bought because it was for sale at my local game store. Great customizable game, great campaign, never ending fun and just the right amount of frustration.
Been a DBZ fan for as long as I can remember and i`ve always wanted to creat my own character and fight alongside goku and the others against DBZ main villains. This game does that, it may not be perfect but it's FUN. Fights are simple but yet thrilling and not boring. Story wise it's short but it's a breath of fresh air, we can only play so muuch of the same storylines every DBZ game. Parallel quests keep you coming back trying to get a better highscore. Now the bad things: - Roster: not the best, to many goku costumes that only change stat distribution and ki blasts. More characters would've been great. -No What if scenarios, always been my favorite part of DBZ games -Toki Toki City, having to wait to log in is tedious and sometimes takes forever.
I will admit it, I was one of the people that didnt like the ending of ME3. But still I didnt make a great deal about ir, obviously I wished for a Fairy Tale ending where everyone is alive and all its happy, but it didnt, oh well. Minor and sutile improvements, Horde like Multiplayer, intense campaign, everytihng its there. Just hoping ME: Andromeda will be awesome
First time I heard of this game I was sceptical, didnt think they could actually make an FPS with RPG elements and make it work. A friend of mine told me to buy it, that it was my kind of game, I saw the reviews and some trailers but it didnt caught my attention. 2 years later at my local game store I saw it again, and decided to buy it, mostly because they were having a sale so I got it dirt cheap. got home and played it, and instantly got hooked up. My friend was right, it is my kind of game, i love creating your own custom character and this game even lets you pick your own backstory, great music, great dialogue, tons of side missions, exploring, and most importantly GREAT story and another great shocker for me, the decisions you make and I do mean YOU make, have consecuences in the sequels, how cool is that???? Just make yourself a favor, BUY THIS GAME.
Man was I hyped when I saw the first trailer for this game and man was I disappointed when i played it. Maybe I had to high expectations for this game, It's a good game but I can't help comparing it to OoT. A game 8 years older still was more inovative and challenging than twilight princess was. Honestly can't remember a single thing about the story, Ganon was there and i think that fight was cool. Turning into a wolf was pointless and tedious, mirna o mina or whatever her name is was ok, far better than navi but i'd prefer if you didn't have to walk around having a flying partner telling you everything. I liked this game, but i regret spending 60 bucks on it, wasn`t worth it, maybe a rental LOL
The first FF that I played was this one, and to this day it's the most frustrating one, tedious as all hell, having to draw and create your own magic, it's music is not as good as other FF games but it has it good tracks. Story wise it's great, mind you it has some moments when you say REALLY!!! the whole GF mind erasing thing. But the characters are likeable, even Emo Squall, but what makes the story good it's the character development, you see everyone devolop, specially Squallwho evolves from this emo, introverted kid to a respectable and likeable leader who just wants to be with and protect the ones he loves. Junction system ****, don't try to convince me that it's actually good once you get the hang of it, it's not going to happen. And once you understand it, it's OP as f#@K, but I ask myself this question why complicate things, when a simple equip menu would be more efficient (FF IX anyone?) It's more challenging than any of the other PS final fantasies and that's good, IMO VII and IX where a little too easy.
Most overrated game of all time? Possibly, it's definitely in my top 5, now don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's a bad game, not at all, and I'm aware that it did a lot for the genre. But that doesn't make it the best final fantasy game, most influential? maybe. It was the last of the PS final fantasies that I played, and after hearing and reading all of the wonderful things this game had to offered I couldn't wait to play it. A bit overhyped? I'm sure I was, but then I played it and while I enjoyed it, I couldn't understand why it had such a dedicated group of fans. I won't say anything about the graphics because for it's time they were amazing, but they haven't aged well. Soundtrack, OMG this I gotta say has to be on par with FF IX. Battle System it's Ok, certainly wasn't a big fan of Materia and grinding magic and limit breaks, but hey that's just me. Cut Scenes, while it has some of the most memorable ones (sepiroth walking through the fire anyone?) some of them took Ages, seriously i grew a beard watching some of them. you have to give credit when they deserve it, Sepiroth may just be the most memorable character in FF history, and possibly in Video Game history, dude's just BA. While I enjoyed it, it was slow and tedious, has some moments where i could just fall asleep, and it most definitely is not the best FF out there, VI and IX are far more enjoyable.
I don't usually give a perfect score, but this being my favorite game, deserves it. Character design seems to be the main reason some people like to pass on this game, but that makes the character more lovable. Great storyline, great characters and character development, soundtrack may be the best in the series, battle system easy to understand and actually works (not like the complicated junction system in FFVIII), you get attached to the characters and want them to have a happy conclusion to their journey, from Zidane to Eiko.
Great game, different from modern versions of RPGs. Not for everyone, the cheesy british voices may not be for everyone, but IMO adds charm to this amazing game. I've read some negative reviews, most of them saying that its to diffcult and unfair, while I admit that leveling up can be a bit frustrating it does't overshadow most of the gorgeous masterpiece that is this game. this is no final fantasy, this game's hard if you are underlevel, but not impossible, not having save points inside dungeons, well this is an "old school" rpg, not final fantasy or any of the new ones that has a save point every new screen, you need to think your battles and know when its okay to fight and when you have to flee, Pros: Tons of secrets, quick learning curve, hints to make better weapons, side quests, mini games, MONSTER ARENA, lovable characters, 60+ hours worth. No wonder DQ series is so loved in Japan. Cons: excesive grinding, until you learn zing theres no cheap way to revive a fallen comrade,
