I thought it would be impossible for a better RPG than Divinity Original Sin to come out this year. Boy was I wrong. Both games are spectacular, but I felt the party mechanics were better in Wasteland 2. Add to that the compelling storylines, massive locations, and sprawling length of the game, and this is clearly a game that should be on everyone's radar. The combat was simple but tense, very effective. It is reminiscent of the XCOM enemy unknown in it's simplicity and potential for disaster. The factions were a blast to get to know, and there are certainly moments as memorable as Fallout 3's underground vampire cult, society of ghouls, or mutant village. Some of the factions were shockingly original. Overall, this is a game that I had a blast playing. I would recommend it to any fan of the original Wasteland games, any Fallout games, or any crpgs. There's something here for everyone.
