Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants3
Sep 7, 2025
To put this into perspective, this DLC costs the same price as Silksong. Yes folks, it is that bad. "Rip-off" doesn't even begin to describe it. The DLC itself in isolation is good. Intriguing story, good head-scratcher puzzles and decent but somewhat easy final boss. But it all took me barely 4 hours to blitz through the entirety of it, including the collectibles. I was left crushed after I was teleported back to the Vatican after the final boss and I couldn't believe that it was the end of it. i genuinely thought there had to be more, but nope. This is so infuriating! What they teased about the Giants in the main game set my expectations up through the stratosphere for the DLC but the fall from up there for me is just pure pain because there is absolutely none of that in here. The base game is worth every penny and this looks like something that should have been included as free post-release content as a big thank-you to the players that made the base game successful. NOT AS A DLC WORTH 20 BUCKS!

Game is way too dark and no amount of messing around with the gamma settings has worked for me. I play on a high end LG OLED TV so problem is definitely the game. Increasing gamma simply makes the darks greyer. Borderline unplayable since I can barely see the world without squinting and straining my eyes. I soldiered through for about 4 hours, got a bloody headache from it and put it down. Next time fired it up, the moment the world loads, the game crashes. Happens no matter how many times I restart the game. Even reinstalled it multiple times and no fix. What a disgrace!

A true hardcore souls game that'll make you hurl your controller at the screen and rage quit and then return to it after calming down a bit to then git gud and actually beat that boss this time. Absolutely recommended to all who want that Bloodborne and Sekiro itch scratched.
Performance is almost flawless, which is a rarity these days. I have played since day one on PC and hadn't had a single crash or weird bugs or glitches etc. I have encountered some stutters here and there though.
Only BS regative I can somwhat think of in terms of gameplay is the overuse of obnoxious delayed attacks by the enemies, each with their own weird patterns, which are hard to add to your muscle memory as you play through. Some quality-of-life stuff I would have loved are Photo Mode, a telescope and world map. Thanks a million to the devs for the awesome game!

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor2

Performance absolutely trash. Game looks good, attention to detail is excellent and feels right at home in the Star Wars universe. But what's the point of all the above if it all renders at potato resolution on the PS5 and even then barely ever runs at 60fps on the Performance Mode? Stutters city. Screen tears galore. Game crashes gala. I can't change stances anymore after fighting a big fat enemy in Jedha, as of my last gameplay. Story cliché and predictable. Mandatory Darth Vader fan service. Combat controls really stiff and no input cancelling. Fighting against hordes of enemies too frustrating because of the constant stun locks and hit staggers from multiple enemies simultaneously. Typical trappings of Ubisoft style open world collectathon, map defogging and icon clearing. I really miss the days when games used to actually be fun. This game is nothing but frustration. Especially the traversal puzzles in the Force Tears. The devs themselves came out and confirmed that the stupid red scavenger droids that burrow and get away every single time were made on purpose to be frustrating and trolling you. Here is one big middle finger to that! Not surprised one bit, given it came right out of EA's cesspit. That'll be 70 bucks please.

Wow this game is gorgeous and simply looks and feels fresh. They did a great job with attention to detail into the world design. The entire thing is just one big eye-candy. Gunplay is amazing but melee can be a bit clunky. Enemies aren't as bullet-spongy as you see in many other games which is good. Except Plyushch because **** that thing. It barely flinches with your attacks. Repair drones are obnoxious and shouldn't have been implemented in the first place and causes some balance issues in the combat. Story is very outlandish and ridiculous. The USSR leapfrogged 200 years technologically within just 10 years by 1955 after the end of WWII? Yeah, no. Even for sci-fi it's just too ridiculous. But fun nonetheless and there are quite a few hilarious moments too. There are some stealth elements but very badly implemented. You can take down one or maybe two enemies but stealthing your way through any area completely is just impossible. You move like snail while crouching and there is no unlockable skill to improve that. Or any skills whatsoever to improve stealth as far as I see so far. Your player character is very unlikeable. He is a petulant, chronic complainer and a stereotypical always-angry military hard-ass tough-guy with a douchy hairdo. Rarely does he open his mouth and says something positive despite literally traversing through a world full of technological marvels. It's like he doesn't even want to be in this game and just wants to go home. He doesn't even say anything let alone anything nice when acquiring a badass new weapon or a mod. I would have vastly preferred a silent protagonist over this. Quest design can be a bit last-gen-ish. You go fetch X many stuff to do Y in order to open a door to progress into the main story. It gets repetitive, boring and grindy very quickly. But there are things to do to keep it all interesting enough. Performance wise the game is very well optimized on PC and runs smooth as butter for the most part. Quite surprising in the year 2023 for a new release. However there are quite a few minor bugs here and there and I've gotten stuck in random places and corners multiple times and have had to restart last save to get out them. Very disappointing. Last thing, I don't care for the controversy surrounding this game. I'm 100% against Russian invasion of Ukraine and fully support nothing short of the total annihilation of Russian presence over there. But this game isn't Russian glorification or Soviet propaganda as many loud-mouths are claiming. If anything, it portrays Soviet-era propaganda. How the **** would you portray propaganda in a story other than just, portraying it? The story actually criticizes both Communism and Capitalism. Your player character saying "glory to the Soviet Union" isn't propaganda that should call for a ban. Being a Russian game dev or a story-teller isn't a crime. It's even refreshing to see a non-Western newbie game dev coming out with such a banger on their first try. I'm playing it on Xbox GamePass but wouldn't have bought it full price and would rather have waited for a sale, because it's not worth a AAA price.

I love the concept of timeloop mechanics in a game and Deathloop more or less nails it for me. Has a lot of the gameplay DNA from the Dishonored series which makes me really nostalgic for it. Story is a bit short and you can figure it all out somewhat quickly and reach the endgame, which can be disappointing. Most mysteries and puzzles in the game are also not very rewarding when you painstakingly solve them. Every time I was like "that's it?" For example, there is a locked room in Updaam for which 3 different codes are needed to unlock it. Finding these codes require a ton of exploring and reading between the lines. But when you do find them and unlock the door, no spoilers, it's underwhelming to the point of infuriating. There isn't too much variety in the guns and powers but there is a good enough balance. Enemy AI is a joke and can be cheesed with child's play. The multiplayer side of it is simply awful. "Griefing as a feature" would be the best way to describe it. It might be fun if you are the one playing as Juliana because you don't get to loose much if you lose. Plus you experience being a psycho and draw pleasure from ruining someone's game, which can be fun I guess. But playing as Colt while being invaded by real players is anything but fun. Nobody wants to have their game ruined especially when it is a careful stealth run and your Colt is near lower to mid levels and the Juliana invading you is armed to the teeth. At higher Colt levels it is boring at best to get invaded because any reward you get from Juliana's corpse is most what you already have and don't need, and infuriating at worst because, again, your game is ruined if you die. There is no fair level matching in invasions. I mostly keep it in the Single-Player mode and play as Colt in relative peace since the AI Juliana is as dumb as a sack of onions. It launched in an unfortunate buggy state on PC and kept crashing a lot. Performance and frame rate was also not stellar even on a super high end PC. But subsequent updates and patches have improved the game a lot. As of this writing though, it still keeps crashing for me at the beginning of Updaam in the afternoon before I even get to exit the tunnels. Can't play Charlie Montague's time period at all now. Thanks a lot, Arkane!

OH MY **** GOURD this is the most hideous "good looking" game I have ever seen and probably ever will. Too shiny, too golden and too colorful and a constant assault on your retinas. My eyes started straining within just half an hour of gameplay. It looks like if Donald Trump became an architect, got his hands on a billion tons of gold, silver, chrome polished steel, all manner of gemstones and a **** ton of RGB and built himself a vast palace out of it all with gold coins scattered all over the place. Seriously, why are there piles of gold coins all over the place??? The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that Trump had a part in this. Combat is crap and super clunky and enemies explode into a blindingly bright cloud of particles all the time and you can't see anything. Story is an absolute snooze fest and I can't roll my eyes hard enough. I can't tell if the characters there are human or humanoid or anything since they're all wearing some stupid lion faced armor or whatever. They were too lazy to actually design faces and facial animations and spent all their dev time polishing the game. Get it? Gold. Shiny. Polish. Facepalm. This game is a scam and an atrocity and it should not exist. Thumbs down all the way! I bought and returned this game on the Epic Store. Good riddance!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance0

Garbage! Absolute trash! The game is a buggy mess and gameplay mechanics and combat in general is a train wreck! I keep getting stuck at random places without being able to move. Try jumping over a fence, stuck. Crossing some parts of the stream, stuck. Moving around into the wrong corner while locked in combat with an opponent, stuckity stuck with death as the cherry on top. Horse riding is very uncomfortable and unintuitive. Not to even mention the number of times I got stuck while taking a wrong turn on the path while riding the darn thing. The most pathetic one was when I rode into a stream while trying to cross the bridge over it, precisely because the horse riding is so horrible, while being chased by soldiers on horseback. Needless to say I was killed. You need "Schnapps" to be able to save your game progress. If you are out, tough luck. You either get more Schnapps or quit the game and come back to a HUGE amount of lost progress. Did I mention getting stuck all the time? Quit to main menu to get out of it and come back to find yourself in more than half an hour's worth of lost progress. Best of all, you come back drunk after a saved game (WTF???). Sword fighting is terrible. Movements are delayed and very unresponsive. Attempting a slash from any particular direction is clunky and doesn't always work and you already take a hit before being able to slash. Hand to hand combat is the same unresponsive mess. When you are being chased after by an enemy (e.g. a soldier) you get tired and slowed down pretty quickly while the enemy never gets tired. They don't give up and catch up with you eventually to lock you into the pathetic unresponsive combat. Especially infuriating at lower levels. Don't even get me started on lockpicking. You are supposed to hold the D button and move your mouse cursor at the same time with the exact speed on a circular path while keeping the cursor over the "sweet spot". There is no way in hell you can do that successfully EVER unless you have a super steady pre-accident Steven Strange hands. You'll fail every time and lose a lockpick with every attempt and those things apparently don't come by easily. And I thought Fallout 4's lock picking was bad. The dialogue system and the voice acting is amateur at best and cringworthy at worst. And why is the game so graphically heavy? I have a fairly high end setup (RTX 2070 + Intel 8700k) and it won't hit anywhere near 60fps on Very High settings at 1080p. The game doesn't even look that good to be needing so much horsepower. This is among the worst most infuriating games I have ever had the displeasure of playing and I really can't say enough crappy things about it. I'm absolutely bewildered as to why the User Score for this dumpster fire is so high. I rage quit and uninstalled this pile of garbage after dying at the hands of a soldier while being stuck next to a fence without a weapon! Good thing I had gotten this game for free on the Epic Store and didn't pay a cent for it. Otherwise I'd be moving mountains to get my refund. Don't waste your time on this pathetic excuse for a game and go play literally anything else.
