Fantastic rogue like game finds its way onto the switch in its definitive edition. Extremely addictive and a raft of content which will last an age. Plays great in handheld and tv mode. It's a must buy.

Dino Dini's Kick Off Revival7
Jun 25, 2016
First let me say im an old school gamer and kick off 1&2 are amongst my favourite games of all time. I was always dubious about this before release as i know remakes can be terrible at times. New comers to the game will more than likely hate it. Its nothing like fifa and pes. Its old school, one button does all. Its fast and frenetic and no room for error. Think of it like the dark souls of football games. You need to sink plenty of time in to get some competent skills. Ok now the bad. Dino himself said it was rushed out so at the moment game modes are restricted to practice, single player, euro cup and 1vs1 online. The core gameplay itself needs some tweaks. The ai can be questionable at times and the game is also card free so some games can descend into foul fests with no repercussions. Corners and freekicks can be hard to do right as well and goalkeepers could be a touch better. The game will have ongoing patches so expect improvements. It is barebones at the moment and the gameplay needs some refinement but im enjoying it as the netplay connection is solid and its fun to play. Those on the fence id advise you wait for patches. Those like me who want to relive it now warts n all dive in!

If you're a fan of light gun shooters like time crisis, ghost squad and even the umbrella chronicles this is a must buy. The DS4 works well with the motion controls and even though the game contains plenty of toilet humour it is indeed lots of fun. If you have never liked on rail shooters then avoid.

Well what can I say. I was hoping this was going to be good from the previews and wow it plays great. Definitely influenced by Everybody's Golf but that's no bad thing if you're a fan of that. Career mode has plenty of legs and the rivals mode is great for competing against your friends best rounds. The only strange omission is no online multiplayer but considering the budget price I'm willing to forget it. The core gameplay itself is great. The courses are good and can be pretty tough and the perks and boosters make the game fun without making it overkill. Ignore the average reviews. Its a great game and my most played title since the xbox one launched.

Great reboot of the series. I personally think it's the best since MK2. The amount of content is staggering and theres plenty of game modes for single and multiplayer. The fight engine has been refined but still feels old school. Great roster and of course fatalities are back.
Oh and challenge mode will take a while. Not 20 minutes like some other idiot posted.
