Haunting, heart-breaking and powerful. Beautifully uncovers the ugliest and most shameful part of Australian history. This is an absolute must-see, even for non-Aussies.

Cute little movie. Decent acting and the kids just make everyone go, 'aww...' Just a bit shocked that Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures decided to produce this movie - a bit different than their usual genre.

Mr. Popper's Penguins5

Nice effort, great modern translation from the original novel. Decent selection of cast. Excellent humour and keeps kids tuned in. However, this movie seems just like another family movie. Nothing special to make it stand out from the others. For me, it slightly resembles Disney's "Bedtime Stories". Overall, good attempt. Definitely recommended for some good-quality family time.

Jack and Jill0
Dec 4, 2011
This movie may be one of the worst I've ever encountered. Extremely unoriginal, very predictable and quite annoying. Adam Sandler may be a great family-friendly actor, but it would be good if another person played Jack and Jill. Speaking of which, a man playing a female is a disturbing idea and quite unsuitable for a child's viewing. This is one of a few movies that I extremely do not recommend to watch.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year5

Decent way to end the trilogy, finally seeing the famous Wildcats graduate at last. The movies have been a great success; however, how can tween viewers relate to the characters when they are moving off to college? Discussing about universities half of the time is meaningless to them, which may lose some interest. Furthermore, the rivalry between Gabriella and Sharpay was absent in this movie, which is quite a disappointing. Was expecting for something a bit more special. The songs are great, but it would be better if they were more 'classic' sounding than a modern 'rock' sound. Overall, it is a good movie, so HSM fanatics should check it out.

Kung Fu Panda10

Wonderful movie, promises a great start to a whole series of movies of Kung Fu Panda. (Unfortunately, I recently found out after watching Kung Fu Panda 2 that they are partnering with the Nickelodeon Channel to make a Kung Fu Panda TV Series. It is quite disappointing.) Always will be a family classic. It portrays great messages, like self-discovery, strength and faith.

Such a wonderful sequel. Very hilarious, dramatic, tense and heart-warming. It is very touching, and for viewers, it should be very easy to relate to Po. However, I found it a little disappointing that Master Shifu does not appear quite often. The last scene in the movie hints that there may be a 3rd movie, making Kung Fu Panda a trilogy. If this is the case, I cannot wait to see it.

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience1

This movie is a perfect example of how movies like this can change Disney's reputation of being a family friendly company. Movies like these have little sentimental value and is quite meaningless. The 'one' of my score is because this movie may 'inspire' young tweens trying to live their dream of becoming a world-famous rockstar. But movies like these are not recommended.

A really cute movie, extremely suitable for family viewing. It is a story of discovering and defining who you are, and even grown-ups can relate to the characters. The story line, however, seems a little too predictable. Yet, it is a great movie and highly recommended.

Beautiful animation and scenery with decent acting. It should be a great family movie. However, I found that it was quite different from the book and it slightly resembles Harry Potter. But it is still quite a good movie to watch and burn some time with.

Mulan is simply stunning. I love how the makers of this movie has decided to set this in China and lets viewers subtly experience some characteristics and cultures of the Chinese people. Other than that, it provides fantastic themes, like family, self-sacrifice, bravery etc. Brilliant, always a great family classic.

This movie brings a whole new dimension to Pixar movies; it gives an innovative and creative insight into what the future would be like. It gives a whole new total perspective of what is the meaning of life. Cute characters, wonderful songs and lots of funny moments for the kids to enjoy. I love how this movie is also raising awareness of global warming at the same time. Simply stunning and recommended at all ages. Always will be a family classic.

The Incredibles10

One of my favorite Pixar movies of all time. Pixar outdid itself by tying a genre that is unusual for a child's viewing - action. It is weaved perfectly, still giving themes of perseverance, family and courage. Notable scores were composed to perfectly suit several situations in the plot. Simply beautiful and stunning.

Excellent movie, heart-warming themes of friendship, courage and self-sacrifice. It portrays a fantastic moral and subtle life lessons that children need to become aware of. However, I didn't feel like it was Pixar at its best. Still, it's a great movie, above average than all other movies.

Epic and perfect ending to the Toy Story Trilogy that is part of so many people's lives. Dramatic ending and is sure to touch every viewer's heart; whether they have been there from the start or is watching Toy Story for the first time. One of the best animated films of the year. Simply amazing.

Justin Bieber: Never Say Never0

It's great to see that lots of 'Beliebers' were ecastic by the release of this movie, but seriously, is there a moral in it? Nothing. The 1 point I give is that it may be inspirational for people to post videos on Youtube by revealing what could happen eventually if you can be discovered by a major recording label.
