Operation Wolf on the C64 was one of my favorite games as a kid. I still like rail shooters a lot - e.g. the excellent House of the Dead remake.This one... is not as excellent from my point of viewThe controls are counter-intuitive with the left stick and the trigger button. In contrast to the original, the camera no longer moves sideways but now moves through the camp in classic rail shooter style. It doesn't really lag but the controls are wobbly and really chunky. I was looking forward to it, but it's a disappointment. It's not the worst in the world but still bad.

If you're looking for a bullet-hell vertical flying true arcade style shooter that looks exactly like the cave arcade shooters always wanted to look like, go for it! Graphics, sound and music are just awesome. There are three game modes that add some stages and mission and there are lots of characters to play as. The game is fairly short and there are unlimited continues - which I really like.
