Still not played anything even remotely like it - way ahead of its time and unique to this day. The gameplay is as satisfying as it is unforgiving. The smallest tactical variables can completely change the outcome of a skirmish.

The game would be a 9/10 were it not for the playstation fanboys rating this down en masse. The same thing happened with Company of Heroes 2, which was admittedly mediocre, but it was rated regardless of the quality of the game and ended up with 1.8/10. This is similar. 6.0/10 is terrible. T This game is easily a 8.5/10, probably a 9. For once the critic reviews are less biased than the user reviews.

A departure from the series. Everything that made GTA memorable was lost, and I mean everything; from the dark, quirky humour, to the popular culture references, to the things we have come to associate with GTA... **** as weapons, jetpacks, miniguns, flamethrowers, gangs, planes, prostitutes, storming mansions. All gone, and in its place we have a very serious, stern and boring experience that tries to prop itself up with good graphics and driving mechanics. This game is not fun. No nostalgia whatsoever. I do not associate this game with Vice City or San Andreas. Niko is the most forgettable video game character of all time. Nothing on Tommy Vercetti.
