Diablo IV0
Jun 24, 2023
I am giving this game a 0 out of 10. While the game initially showcases promise, it unfortunately falls short in several key areas, leading to a disappointing overall experience. It is imperative to address the numerous technical issues that have greatly impacted my time with the game. Countless disconnections and server instabilities have forced me to replay missions, resulting in a frustrating waste of valuable hours. Furthermore, the cumbersome queue system required just to access the game often leads to error messages such as "Unable to find valid license for Diablo IV. (Code 315306)," which is unacceptable for a title that I have purchased. The frequency of these problems has pushed me to contemplate initiating a credit card chargeback, a measure I rarely consider. One of the most glaring flaws of Diablo IV is its repetitive gameplay. Despite a promising start, the game quickly descends into monotony, with a lack of fresh and engaging mechanics. Additionally, the bosses in the game fail to deliver the thrilling and memorable encounters that fans of the franchise have come to expect. The narrative, unfortunately, follows suit with a subpar storyline that fails to captivate and falls short of the series' established standards. The art direction of Diablo IV feels disjointed and lacking a cohesive vision. It seems as if an AI artist collaborated with an inexperienced designer, resulting in an unimpressive visual presentation. This departure from the series' iconic aesthetics is disappointing, as it fails to capture the dark and immersive atmosphere that made the previous entries so memorable. While Diablo III had its flaws, Diablo IV manages to surpass it in disappointment, earning the title of the worst game in the franchise and one of the most underwhelming experiences I have encountered this year. Despite the initial promise and potential, the numerous technical issues, repetitive gameplay, lackluster boss encounters, uninspiring narrative, and disjointed art direction culminate in an unsatisfactory release.

Bayonetta 38
Nov 29, 2022
The multiverse thing is kinda over done at this point, this game tried to do the same thing and it just was meh story wise. Good thing no one plays Bayonetta for the story ;). Alright so the positive things. The weapons!!! This game has more weapons than any other Bayo game and they are FANTASTIC!! On top of weapons, you have your Summons so thats a whole nother layer on top of weapons and they stack pretty well since you can get an accessory that lets those fight while you do your thing. Weapons and their combo's are the best part of this game. You can change it up pretty good and get some crazy stuff out of them. The only sad part is you can have only 2 weapons equipped at a time, if you could only have one more equipped to really change it up that would be fire. The game has challenges, it has alternative levels for every level. It has alternative characters you can play as once you beat the game and throughout. It has an awesome style and just sick specials. The story again is not great, and I kind of skipped through it because I lost interest. It was just not well thought out and kinda sloppy. Multiverse stuff is boring now and its just an easy way to make a story. No respect there. The downsides to this game is the switch hardware and how its stuck on this platform. It has performance issues and sometimes you have no idea whats going on because it just looks bad. Overall still a crazy fun experience.

Game hands down is the best quick and gritty team based shooter out there. There is no real support class any class will do. Every class has its merits. Lets start off with laughing together about the bad reviews because people are salty about region locking? They are upset that their region has crappy internet and it will bog down other regions so they come here with their little warrior fingers and leave a bad review. There are also reviews saying its play to win, its not. The starting classes you get are just fine and do exactly what you need them to do. I play a good amount and I can see where people would get upset that they feel useless. The player base in the US is not that big and the people who do play, play a lot and we get pretty good with head shots. Just put in the time and you will have a blast. Iv met a lot of cool people playing this game and even the discord channel for it had a lot of neat people who just know whats up. This game has fantastic maps, game modes, and all the suits in it are fantastic and fun. Everything has its purpose so far. I really have no complaints.

I am not sure why all the high reviews. Reading through them is disappointing. You see how dumb the average reviewer is with their horrible spelling mistakes, bad grammar, and lack of intelligence all around. It just goes to show the average user base of the game and those who enjoy mindless fun. The term ignorance is utterly true. This game is fun for a little bit but it has no real difficulty. Doing things and getting them done is so easy. Its the same type of gameplay as you only really move your character and have no aiming mechanics. Yes you heard me right you are only moving your character on an isometric grid. I had my fun with it but it is not a gem of any sort. Most of the art is stolen from Castlevania and nothing is original that exists here. The music is bad, the graphics are bad and there is no real game play other than dodging things while collecting the right upgrades to kill things faster. I feel sorry for anyone giving this more than a 5 you know they probably did not get their high school diploma.

God of War: Ragnarok10

I am not sure how this does not have a perfect 10. I play a lot of games and this is one of the best games I have ever played in my entire life. This game does everything the first God of War did but much more and everything extra I was praying for. To start off I played this on the ps4 which handles it honestly fine and that is shocking. The load times while not fun were workable. I am sure it is much more handsome on the ps5. This game has a story that really grabbed me more than any book, movie or any other game. Being a direct sequel to the other games in the series it continues and grabs you so fast. You see Kratos doing and saying things you would never expect but they are in character and they do a good job following how he would act as he is growing as a person / god. His son has grown a lot to into a character I really like. You get to play as both of these characters and even though you do not play as the son as much he is still a fun character to play as. He has good moves, attacks and solid storytelling. The new characters introduced are all fantastic and just fun to interact with and hear what they think. The extra dialogue is so fantastic to hear. I loved every moment of everything this game had to offer. So my big wish was more killing animations. This game offers A LOT more than id ever dreamed of. Every weapon has unique kills, then there are special kills with your rage meter, and lastly, the boss kills are *FANTASTIC*. I am pleased at everything there was offered in this game and honestly, I did not even want to beat it. I was sad at the thought of completing the game. I did though and now im working on getting all the trophies. The game opens up after you beat it and you can't miss any trophies which is great. I can't wait till it comes out on pc!

God of War10

What a whole different beast **** from the previous God of War games and in a completely grand direction. This game has everything. The storytelling is better than most movies. The graphics and weight of everything is gorgeous and it just works. The story is so fantastic and a huge eye-opener in the direction of where God of War has gone. Kratos transforms into such a good character from his anger-ravaged old younger self. He is a father and he will do anything to protect his boy. The combat is probably some of my favorite combat in a 3rd person game. The axe just works and feels fantastic. The upgrades of body armor and the styles of how they look. The game has a lot going for it and im all for it. I really love this direction they went and im mind blown at how good this game is.

A 2022 Review. First off reviews for games that are constantly updated until its a completely different game should be a standard. Yes we can see the year of the older reviews but it still hurts a game that has been working very hard to become something better. This game when first released I would of gave it a 1. Yea it was just a boring game with a ton of problems. BUT since then Hello Games (The developer) has gone above and beyond to make this game fun. They have added so much content SO MUCH content that was promised and it's there now. I have traveled the universe with friends and it works well, able to connect directly to them join in help with a pirate fight, and help build their bases yes bases on planets that you can set as your own. traveled to places where people have become communities and built whole cities. It's fantastic and mysterious. The game has a lot more to offer with ships, weapons, alien types, NPC's, sentinel enemies, and even worlds. The game is now an 8 on my scale and it deserves it. I have fun hopping on every once in a while and exploring a new planet its just the type of game you can do that with. Its still not perfect but there really is not a game like it out there and exploring is one of the top things I enjoy. **** 8/10 still playing it to this day.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate10
Jul 15, 2022
It is not called Ultimate for any reason. Its Ultimate because they found the perfect combination of speed, movement, spacing, balance with characters (for the most part) and everything else. This game is the culmination of a fantastic team and a director who really cares about the product. This game is just the perfect refining ****. As a big Melee fan, i absolutely love this game. When Brawl first came out almost everyone I knew was pretty disappointed with how slow it felt, the character roster, and other letdowns (tripping we remember you). This game has every character from all smash games and then they even went above and beyond putting characters in that we thought we would never see like Steve (minecraft), Sephiroth (FF7), Ken (Street Fighter), Sora (Kingdom Hearts) to name a few of the mind-blowing characters. The game feels good, and you still able to use your Gamecube controller with the adapter they released for the Wii U being compatible. Not only that but almost all controllers work on this console and work well with smash. I sometimes use the 8bitdo controller / sometimes the Switch pro controller depending on my mood. The amount of great music this title holds makes it a library that you can just chill out to and use the music player to listen to it. Its like you got a bunch of albums of music just for free along side a fantastic fighting game. This game set a lot of standards that make it almost impossible to follow up on. I feel almost bad for any other fighting game trying to compete. But it seems a lot of fighting games are trying to follow the same type of style but most have been a letdown with the content, the tight controls and the overall polish. This game has all of that and more. It has so much to offer that this is the only game you really need on the switch and you can have unlimited fun. The grassroots community for smash is huge so you will be able to find a tournament no matter where you live as people hold this game up to the competitive standard you would never expect. Overall one of the best fighting games to ever grace this green earth. 10/10

A deep game consisting of a deck based on different characters you choose with different abilities. When I say deck I mean you actually build the deck as you continue the game. You start with some basic stuff and you can go from there. Sometimes you get such a fun broken combo that it is straight-up euphoria. There are some really cool enemies challenging in different ways that make you really think and build your deck accordingly the next time you go through with that character. The amount of content is pretty endless as iv never had the same run ever. The amount of time I have put into this game is a great deal and its such a great time I have this on multiple consoles and the PC. I love the character art, the music, and just everything the game has to offer. Now one big thing I am going to talk about that a lot of people don't seem to mention is the PC version on steam has a whole workshop. The workshop allows you to download anything that people have created for the game. You can play as bosses like the Slime boss, you can play even as crazy things as Goku / Sailormoon / Yugioh or you can just change out the music, the art, the speed, the story, the items, and the cards. It's endless and the workshop adds so much to the game that I can't even go into detail with 5000 word limit here. Just check it out yourself as it's all free on steam. Another big thing I need to mention is the fact the game runs flawlessly on the steam deck which is my main game on the steam deck. It runs via the touchscreen, the sticks or the haptic pad. All feeling awesome. I really do not have anything negative to say about this game as its just a joy to play. -V
