There should be a way to give this show a negative rating, because their plan seems to be to do everything wrong you can possibly do wrong, and they don't even get that straight. The writing contradicts not only Star Trek but also common sense in almost every possible way. It is neither logically consistent in the Star Trek universe, nor in their own universe. Characters act and decide seemingly based on random dice rolls, and technology can do everything or nothing, depending on whatever the lazy writers need in that moment. On top of all that the story was clearly written by the "modern audience" people, that try to shove down your throat their political views with force. It is so bad it's not even worth complaining about, because that would already give it more attention than it is worth.

The best Star Wars series I have ever seen. In the dust of failures like Obi Wan and The Books of Boba Fett it feels like they finally hired a professional to do the job. Every single part of this series is outstanding, especially the soundtrack and sound effects. On top of that a convincing and deep story that will captivate you and make you feel with the characters. Just the overuse of shaky cam makes it a bit tough to watch at times, but those are luckily rare. Instead of pointless SJW boredom they actually present characters with stories, traits and flaws. No one is a superman and no one can take it on a squad of Storm Troopers alone, because they are actually hitting and killing people. The seriousness of the situation of the empire turning from evil to worse is transmitted believably, and you feel the horror of their oppression with the characters as you watch it. The story takes it slow, too slow maybe for some who are used to action-packed Star Wars movies. But if you are ready to breathe in the air and the feeling of the universe of Star Wars, then you come to the right place. The scenery, the ambient sound, the music, everything radiates love for details, and makes you feel right at that place. The script shines with believable reactions and decisions, understandable, deep characters, and despite the fact that we know where it is going to still manages to surprise and shock you. Must watch for every Star Wars fan, and still outstandingly good for everyone who loves Science Fiction.

An attempt of making a great TV show made by people who obviously have no idea how to do that. Attempts at epic dialogues which just sound cringe, massive plot holes, ridiculous character decisions, boring costumes, bad writing all over the place. The landscape shots are nice, the music is great, but that's about it. It feels like they didn't even try to make this a good show.
