This game is only for intelligent people. If you have a low attention span, I'd recommend the game Call of Duty by Activision.

I don't expect anyone to read this, but I want to bump up the number of reviews this game has, because it absolutely deserves all the praise it is being given. Games like these don't come often. If you played Planescape: Torment, Tyranny, Kotor 2 for the plot and decisions, this game delivers the same in spades. Set in a brilliant mundane alternative world, with just enough weird elements to make it familiar but slightly weird and even eerie. This game is not only a serious contender for game of the decade, but it will either be remembered as the most criminally underrated cult-classic or the strongest debut of a rising game company since Black Isle made Fallout 1.

For a Triple A game, not having dedicated servers (P2P servers only) seems like a terrible decision. This game requires precision and twitch combat skills, and any amount of server instability can ruin the experience. Also, Steel (the online currency) is purchasable, U-Play is terrible and forced upon consumers. This game has thus far not lived up to the hype at all.

Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars5

For those who played the original masterpiece, or its underrated sequel, this is a fun jaunt filled with nostalgia and fond memories. Still, in a genre filled with games that claim to be the spiritual successors to MOO, this game does little to set itself apart. The combat is oversimplified and obtuse. Research is unimaginative and uninteresting. Beyond the initial nostalgia, this game becomes dull fast.

You know those old-western saloons with the huge facade, but behind them is but a tiny building? Meant to look really huge and impressive, but in reality is small and bland? That is No Man's Sky.

It's like one of those large-facade buildings in a western saloon town. Meant to look very big and impressive, but once you start playing the game you realize there's no substance.

Total War: Rome II1

The game just feels empty and rushed. All of the elements that made the previous Total War games fun and addictive are gone or dumbed down. Meanwhile, the design team emphasized art and graphics and presentation over gameplay and replay value. It's like a bad sequel to a good movie. It makes me think that the Total War franchise may be dead.
