As someone who didn’t have the chance to play the original, I’m so happy to have this remake. Yes, the controls can be a bit rough, but the story, nostalgia feel, and graphics are what make this game shine. It’s a great fun game.

I had such high hopes for this game since last year. I thought with the unique art style, hack ‘n’ slash type of combat, and storyline that this would turn out to be quite the game. The disappointment I felt 2 missions into this game is unimaginable. We are way past the simplicity, repetitiveness, and button-bashing in the gaming world, especially for $60. This game, in my opinion, should’ve been canceled and/or not released until it had more to offer it’s players. Utterly bummed out.
