Man. I want to like this game more than I actually do. I think the VO is good, and I even laughed out loud at some of the jokes. Unfortunately, at its core it's still a video game, and in that area it suffered a bit. The camera was very hard to see past. It had no smooth transition. If you walked over a bump, the camera bumped with you... harshly. Beyond that, the combat was kinda meh. I wish they would have spent more time polishing the gameplay instead of sinking it into the cutscenes. Still, it made me laugh out loud, and games don't often make me do that. Would've been happier with a price point of $40

A missed opportunity on Nintendo's part. I went out and bought a handful of the NFC figures and was super hyped about getting to finally use the NFC functions of the Wii U gamepad. Unfortunately, this is the ONLY redeeming factor of this game. Every level is almost exactly the same, and very small on top of that. It's clearly aimed at small children who don't mind mashing buttons to produce shiny lights on screens. Also, having the NFC figures sold as a blind grab is a clear punch in the gut to the consumer. **** know I need to have them all. They could have done so much more with the combination of this franchise and the NFC technology. A well executed attempt could have rivaled Skylanders or Disney Infinity in my opinion. They certainly have an established consumer base to gouge. Hell, I've been playing Pokemon games since I was a kid, and I'm 28.

You really have to give this game a chance to appreciate it. The camera gets pretty rough at times, and there's a few weird issues with movement. These issues are made up for with the combat. I doubt the people trashing it played it enough to actually see the strongest point of the game. Once you get through the campaign you open up the other modes of play that are all straight fighting. It really changes when you develop each turtles skills too. It's easily worth $15. Give it a shot.

I was weary about this game before playing it, but it did not disappoint. The combat is solid, and fairly well balanced. The only thing that got me was how incredibly long some of the story mode intros were. Some characters took like 15 minutes to get through their intros to the actual fighting.
