Gnomoria5

First off I have played more than 20 hours so I know what I'm talking about. This game is addictive and wonderfully constructed but the real problem is with the combat. The enemies are sooo hard that it makes the game completely un fun. The only strategy you can ever survive with is to wall yourself in which is totally boring and no matter how well prepared you are, you will eventually need resources. I also dislike the fact that your armor can break.. I spent all this time crafting this great silver armor for it to break by getting hit with a copper axe? BS i say. Lastly I have to say that sometimes your gnomes can be absolutely ****. They consistently get caught in corners and stockpiles can be annoying when your gnomes would rather go down 30 flights of stairs in your mine to get one stone than to go 15 blocks away to get the stone from your stockpile. This really is a fun game but the fact is that it is the enemies are so frustrating that its just not worth playing. 5/10

This game is really nothing more than a cheap Diablo 2 clone. It really has no originality and the story is virtually non existent. Perhaps what I was most disappointed in was the skills. They all seem so boring and bland. I played the character with the duel guns and found it irritating having to click exactly on my target to fire. Many times my character would go running towards the target. In a nutshell this game is a cartoonish downgraded version of D2 with lamer skills and treasure. This is 1 of only 2 games I've ever bought that I was extremely disappointed in. How this game received almost a 9 is beyond me.

Mass Effect9

I really liked this game. The story was excellent and I liked the RPG elements of the characters and equipment. I personally thought this was a much better game than Mass Effect 2 or 3 which I found disappointing due to the lack of RPG elements. The environments and space races were detailed, exciting and believable. I would say this is the best space game that I've played since star-wars. Considering its like 10 bucks on steam this game is simply a must have.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind10

Even years after it's release and many hours of gameplay later, I still find myself going back to this game. I think this game gave me more enjoyment then any other RPG I've ever played. Truthfully I think the only improvements Bethesda made in Oblivion or Skyrim were the graphics and combat system. Otherwise I would say that Morrowind is far better then the later sequels. The storyline, quests, and factions are very deep and I loved being a wizard with a levitate spell flying all across the land. Each town has its own distinct feel and the towns don't feel copy pasted like they do in Oblivion. Perhaps the greatest thing about this game is it gave you the feeling of a treasure hunter as you could find any item at any level unlike Skyrim and Oblivion where both monsters and items level up with you. This game is a game I will always remember as a true RPG. It wasn't just a game it was an experience.

Minecraft is one of the few decent original games I've played lately. I like the fact that you don't have to play hundreds of hours in order to get something done or have fun. However the game is really only fun with other players to which you can show off your creations. Since the game has no real goal it gets pretty boring pretty fast, but for the price I think think this is a great game for at least a few days of entertainment. The graphics are bad, but this is why you should download a texture pack. The story is non existent, but this isn't a story game, it's a creation game. Overall this might be a very fun game for a casual gamer in short doses, but don't plan on spending as many hours on this as you might on a Bethesda game.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim7

First of all, just because I gave the game a 7 doesn't mean that Skyrim is a bad game, in fact, it is quite fun. However I just don't think it is nearly the masterpiece that Fallout 3 or Morrowind was. The mechanics are pretty poor and revolve around a "favorite" system where my bulky fingers often press the wrong buttons and I use stuff I didn't want to, this system also stops combat which kills the fluidness of the game. I wish that Bethesda had used the hotkey system they did in Morrowind. In this game I saw a lot of rehashing of things that Bethesda used in Fallout 3 and Morrowind, including items, references, and soundtracks which made me laugh. I was also disappointed in how unbalanced the classes were in this game. Warriors are horrible and pretty much useless while mages with fire magic kill just about anything hard, be it spriggans or trolls. Some enemies like the cavebear are just plain overpowered. I think perhaps the most disappointing thing in the game is that you find items according to your level. You can't just walk into a cave at level 1 and stumble upon a daedric longsword like you could in Morrowind. To me this takes away from the fun in the game. I would also like to say that this is the most buggy game I think Bethesda has ever released which was another disappointment. I did however think Skyrim was a big improvement over Oblivion as far as surroundings and storyline, but It just doesn't have the mechanics, fluidness, mystery and fun factor that Morrowind had.
