The critics are harsh on this one, I picked up HF:A with the precision shot gun free, chucked it to a mate while I got on the sharp shooter and we had an awesome arvo smashing through it. Its a fun game that ran with no glitches in the 7 or so hours we played it. Best graphics I've seen in a rail shooter and is also a trophy hunters dream come true. A must buy for rail shooter fans! Avoid HF:A if your looking for a deep story because that it does not have, however the intensity of battles is well created and the action is almost non-stop barring some beginning/end mission scenes that can be buttoned-thru. Sound effects are average but not distracting. Heavy Fire: Afghanistan is definately worth a crack and deserves a spot in the rail shooter section of any good video game collection.
