ARC Raiders10
Nov 8, 2025
incredible game top to bottom. This is more than an extraction shooter, it's a very immersive, intense shooter experience. If you do it solo it's super atmospheric and keeps you on edge. If you play with randoms or friends it can get crazy chaotic. I love how strong the ARC(bots) are, it makes the world tough and you have to choose which fights to take rather than blowing through every bot like in most shooter games. Even if you never played an extraction shooter and just look shooters, especially ones that reward patience, you have to get this game. Its gorgeous with amazing sound design and a great soundtrack. 9.4/10. I'm excited for its future. Skins could be more affordable.

I heard a lot of praise about this game last year and now it’s on PS5 so I had to play it and after much time with it I have to say, the praise was warranted. It becomes highly addictive with a really cool loop of dive by day, serve a seafood bar by night. Upgrade gear to venture deeper, to catch bigger fish, and find new discoveries. Trick out your bar and hire people to work for you. Your phone has a ton of valuable apps to manage things and to complete tasks. It has its challenges and you can die when you least expect it when things seem to being going so well. There is a lot to discover and I can’t recommend it enough for those looking for a great time. 9.1/10

Pacific Drive is unique, brilliant, hugely atmospheric, and 100% worth your time. There isn’t really another game I could compare it to, but it’s an experience I will remember for a really long time. The developers have a beautiful foundation here to build upon with a possible DLC and inevitably a sequel(fingers crossed). I’m still playing it and I’m completely invested every time, and though very tense at times, it’s a relaxing game as well when you have those down times. Go and get it right now if you’re on the fence, you won’t regret it. 9.4/10.

Helldivers 210
Mar 17, 2024
One of the best online PvE/co-op games of the last decade. It’s a blast whether you’re with friends or randoms, and the structure and foundation that the developers have laid down is top notch and creative. I see so many fake 0-1 star reviews on here, probably from Xbox players. As long as you got a stable internet connection, you won’t be disappointed with Helldivers 2. 9.1/10.

9.2 - Very addictive roguelike card game! Very similar to Slay the Spire. If you loved that, you will love this as well, even more so if you like Poker. If you’ve never played Poker before then don’t fret, the game will show you all you need to know. Love this game. Simple, but addictive!

I adored the first one and this one just improves on everything that made that one great. Amazing atmosphere. Amazing soundtrack. Amazing narrative. Everything from the thought-provoking dialogue and puzzles will have you engaged at all times. The original and the sequel giving me a state of zen and relaxation that I haven't really had with most other games. More people need to play it and the sequel is amazing. Thank you Croteam for these two amazing games. I want more!

Amazing game. I’m late to the party but I decided to play this before I got to the sequel and I have no idea how this game escaped me for so long. Brilliant philosophical game that challenges your mind with not only its puzzles, but its narrative as well. Fantastic soundtrack to go along with it too! Don’t miss out if you haven’t played it yet. 9/10, but I’m giving it a 10/10to bump that Metacritic score up more, it deserves it!

I’ve been addicted for days since getting the game and I can’t wait to get back to it. It has a brilliant concept and it’s executed extremely well. The base-building is amazing, and prepping your outpost with traps, guards, hazards, etc, is just a ton of fun. I love that I can watch the replays of people who attempt to raid me. Great atmosphere and aesthetics. This game deserves a way higher metacritic score so I’m giving it a 10. Don’t miss out on Meet Your Maker. Give it a try and you’ll love it once you get by the tutorials.

What an incredible indie game. Think ‘Breath of the Wild’ with a lot of heart. Two hefty islands with treasures to collect and mini-games to complete. Really cool customization, great soundtrack, and some really cool abilities. It’s also physics-based and I love the meaning behind the game. LOVE it and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s even slightly interested.

What a game. I didn’t expect to get as invested as I did and I absolutely loved my time with this game. One of the better indies I’ve played in a while. I love that they let you have control of everything and there is an overwhelming since of serenity and peace in the lonliness. I loved the little robot companion, it really helps give the game some heart. If you have PS Plus Extra/Premium then do yourself a favor and go get this while it’s free on there. I look forward to what the developers make next. (Also I’m giving it a little higher score because I don’t think the current average reflects how good the game is)

A must play for gamers who love atmosphere and imaginative, creative worlds. Not only is it gorgeous to look at and play, but there is such a charm and beauty to the simplicity of Stray. It’s very straight forward with a few chapters to roam at your own leisure, but it’s such a tight package that so well made that I enjoyed two playthroughs and after some time away from it, I’m almost itching to play it again. A must play, especially if you love environmental storytelling and cats! lol. 9/10.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord10
Oct 31, 2022
One of the best strategy game on console. Anything you could ever want in a strategy game is in Bannerlord. You have a constant moving world that shapes around you, and it’s all done naturally with zero scripting. You can fight for or fight against anyone of your choosing. Create your own Kingdom and rule the world. Be a Merc for Hire. Be a traveling salesman. Be the commander of a massive army that you grow from the ground up, all by your own control. There are so many features and levels of depth to Bannerlord that I honestly can’t put it all into this tight review. I’m just so impressed with what the developers have done with the console version. It feels very similar to the PC version, and it runs and performs SO smooth! There is a 120hz toggle in the option, and the game already runs at a silky 60fps for anyone who doesn’t have the 120hz support. If you have ever liked any strategy game like Total War or Civilization, and you want even more control than those games offer, plus the full scale wars that can take place, you have to get this game. I’m giving it a VERY strong 9.5/10.

SIFU10
Feb 12, 2022
Pros: - Engaging, addictive combat
- Great level design and aesthetics
- Brilliant design; it feels like true Martial Arts in the sense that you start raw and throughout your journey you begin to master and learn everything and conquer what once conquered you.
- Again, I can’t stress how fun and great this combat system is. Crowd control hasn’t been this fun or strategic in quite some time. Cons:
- The Camera can get annoying sometimes, but it’s all dependent on how well you can control it while fighting. A lock-on system would fix this, especially in boss battles like with Sean.
-The game is only 5 levels, BUT it’s not a knock for me because the goal is the complete the entire game before your characters ages out, so it takes a lot of time to master it and understand the world and how enemies attack. I’m still grinding level 3 trying to beat it without dying and I haven’t even touched level 5 yet, and I have 28 hours into the game. Bottom Line: The game is so amazingly fun. The visuals and aesthetics work very well for this game, and I genuinely like the concept of the story. It’s simple but engaging. The soundtrack works really well and it really stands out in certain fights. Don’t be scared off by people saying it’s too hard. It’s just the right difficulty and given time, you will be the master; you will be the SIFU. 9.1/10

Ghostrunner10
Jan 12, 2022
I’m giving this game a ‘10’ rating because I think it deserves a higher score than what is shown. I knew going into Ghostrunner I was going to get a fun but challenging experience, but what I didn’t expect was everything else that came along with it. Ghostrunner offers beautiful, finely detailed visuals which takes place in a dystopian setting in a Cyberpunk style world. The game runs beautifully on PS5 at a silky smooth 60fps with Raytracing, or if you would rather have 120fps you can do so, but without Raytracing. I much preferred the 60fps/RT because it ran extremely smooth and looked super gorgeous most of the time. Coming in I thought it was going to be all about the combat and movement(which it is), but I didn’t expect a full story, and this game has a good one that I found to be very interesting with some great voice acting. The Star of this show outside of the beautiful visuals and divine movement/combat is the soundtrack!!! The combination of all three is perfection. This is hands down my biggest surprise game of 2021 and I hope more people play it. 9/10. High replay value!

9.5/10. Amazing RPG/Turn-Based Strategy game. I was looking for something to scratch that XCOM itch that I was craving, and I can confidently say that Wasteland 3 not only gave me exactly what I was looking for, but it gave me SO much more than I ever expected. It’s now my favorite game of this genre, and the best RPG I’ve played in a while. Think of it like Fallout with the open world exploring and looting, but with a more fleshed out XCOM combat system. It has so much depth and creative choices that I can assure you every playthrough will be completely different. I can’t get over on slept on this game is, and it’s miles better than Wasteland 2 in my opinion, which honestly I didn’t play too much of. Having a full voiced cast makes a huge difference, and I love the story and characters. The developers deserve endless praise for this game, and I’m excited to see what comes next. Do NOT pass this up if you’re looking for a game that has everything I mentioned above.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut10
Nov 1, 2021
If there is ONE REVIEW you can trust, I want you to put all your faith into me and take my word when I say this game is one of the best open world games ever and it’s well worth every penny you spend on it. The PS4 version was good, but the PS5 version takes this game to the next level. The resolution and frames per second are nicely enhanced, as well as the loading times which are INSANELY fast. The sheer level of detail within the world such as the foliage, particle effects, character details, and just the overall diversity in the world is breathtaking. The controls are very responsive and the adaptive triggers are SO well implemented. Just traveling across a bridge or different form of terrain will change how the triggers react. You can feel every bit of pressure when you pull back on the bow. The soundtrack and voice acting is very good. NOTE: I played it with Japanese audio and English subtitles which is the way I highly suggest you play it. It made it more immersive and I found the Japanese voice acting to be really good. You can really hear the emotion in the dialogue even if it’s not your native language. Ghost of Tsushima made me put these incredible developers near the top of my list for favorite developers in the industry. Their previous works were good, I enjoyed all the Infamous titles and earned all the trophies for them, but Ghost of Tsushima is in a different universe in terms of quality and the love that has been poured into it is overwhelming. This game to me solidified **** Punch as some of the best in the business. Please support amazing developers, especially ones who you can tell poured their heart and soul into the game like they did on this one. I expected some fun combat, but what impressed me most was the amazing story and dialogue, especially the further you get into the game. I’ve literally played every game you can think of, but this game in particular impressed me the most with its story telling because I did not expect such a powerful and epic journey as the one you get in this game. The way the story unfolds and its discussion of Honor and how far will you go to stand by it even in a time when people don’t deserve it, is just so cool and a great idea for this setting. The code of the Samurai is Honor, and sometimes living by tradition or not evolving when the world around you is dishonorable can ultimately cost you everything. The Expansion ‘Iki Island’ is gorgeous and again, the story is massively impressive(especially towards the end), and it made me tear up. Overall, one of the best stories in an open world game, ever. Overall, Ghost of Tsushima ends up in my TOP 3 favorite open world games of all time. It cements itself with The Witcher 3 and the original Red Dead Redemption. I’m so thankful for these developers and this phenomenal game. Thank you so much **** Punch. If you’re reading this and you haven’t played it yet, GO BUY IT! It’s a must own for PS5.

Console players finally get their tactical shooter after years of having nothing on the market. Despite a few bugs which will be ironed out, Insurgency Sandstorm is an outstanding shooter that runs smooth as butter with some super satisfying gameplay. Co-op is an absolute blast. The PvP is challenging, but fun. I recommend playing for the objective and try your best to adapt to a more methodical, tactical game compared to your typical shooters. The PvP has a learning curve, so stick with it and you’ll highly enjoy your experience in the long run. Giving it a 10 to help give it some exposure and support. Fantastic multiplayer game.

I really enjoyed this game. I’ve been a fan of the developers ever since I played The Observer, which I really, really enjoyed. They know how to do great, mature story telling and they nailed it again with ‘The Medium’. The fact I’ve seen other reviews trash it for being boring and having no multiplayer is an absolute joke. Maybe do some research before buying the game, which is obviously a narrative driven, horror game with a nice little twist. The dual worlds mechanic is done great here, and at times the world(especially the dark side), looks fantastic. I was really impressed with the sound in all departments with this game. Great voice acting. Awesome ambient soundtrack. Beautiful sound design. I’m a huge fan of the amazing artist Beksiński which you can tell they are very inspired by, so I became an even bigger fan of this game. My complete unbiased review of this game is an 8.5. I love these developers. Support them! Always support great developers!

One of the most fun games I’ve played in YEARS! I find this type of trial and error style of gameplay(Metroidvania) way more enjoyable than games like the ‘Souls’ series. I’m in love with the world, the beautiful soundtrack, and Jane Perry’s fantastic vocal performance. The first day I played it, I enjoyed it pretty well; but it’s not until you truly understand the game and start to progress past the first Biome where you truly feel how special the game is. What an incredible game and experience, a big kudos to the developers! Deep. Beautiful. Mature. 9.5/10.

I have been playing this game since it first released over a year and a half ago. Many changes have come and gone throughout that time, mostly for the good. Though I feel like SBMM(Skill-Based MatchMaking) could be the downfall for this game in terms of growth and keeping your veteran players, it’s still a very fun game. Newcomers will have a lot to learn and there is definitely a learning curve, but given the time put in, it’s a blast when you are fully experienced in the world and lore of Apex. The movement and gunplay is the best part. My only true negatives is EA’s bad servers and SBMM. 8.8/10.

As someone who grew on these games as a child, I felt like the world of skating games died after the first few Tony Hawk games. When I heard the news they were going to remaster the first two, I was happy but I also thought it was going to be the same game with just a small coat of paint over top of it. What I actually got was the first two games remade completely from scratch on new hardware, a deep character customizer, hundreds of challenges and skaters to play and max out, a very smooth and fun multiplayer experience, and one of the best games of the year. This game is really phenomenal for what it is, and that’s a super fun and addictive skater game. To me, this is the best skater game ever made and I’m excited to see where they go next. 9.5/10.

Wow... that is all that needs to be said. This game blows the previous two Dead Space titles out of the water. The bar has been raised to the ultimate. The additions of weapon editing, co-op, optional missions, and improved gameplay is a VERY welcomed addition. The soundtrack and story for the most part is excellent. The atmosphere and look of the world is amazing. There are so many big moments and set pieces that I had to go back just to play it again. It's a shame too, because the demo left a bad taste in my mouth, but after picking up the full game my mind was blown. This is one of the best games I've played in a long time and it's such a shame that it's sitting at a 78 metacritic rating, because it deserves a MUCH higher score. Thank you Visceral Games.

Where do I even begin. Did Gearbox even TRY when they worked on this hunk of crap? The graphics are awful. The gameplay is clunky as hell. The story is just pathetic. They nailed the sound of the game for the most part, but that's the only thing I'm going to give credit to. This was just a cheap gimmick to cash in on the Alien name. Listen to me when I say, STAY AWAY. I wouldn't even wait for it to hit the bargain bin. Don't support the developers when they give us something this awful.

Rock Band 38
Jun 26, 2012
Rock Band 3 may not be a huge improvement over Rock Band 2, but it's still a great game with an almost flawless presentation. Just like in the predecessor, all the songs from the previous Rock Band can be carried over. The actual tracks that come with the disc are great, but I think the previous two games had an all-around better track list. The lack of Band World Tour is a downer, but it was replaced with an in-depth challenge list in which you can tackle solo or online with friends. If you're a fan of music-based video games, then it should be a no brainer to pick this one up. The community is still active and the music library grows larger every week.

God of War III is absolutely beautiful. The game looks better than ever and features some of the most epic boss battles in the GOW trilogy. Though the story is the weakest of the three, it's still an epic adventure worth taking.

Plants vs. Zombies8
Jan 7, 2012
Plants vs. Zombies is rich with content and I think it's one of the best 'tower defense' games on the Playstation Network. The game looks great in high definition, and the controls are simple and easy to pick up on. Once you beat all the main levels, there is still tons more to do. Co-op is good fun, and the survival mode can be addictive. I can go on and on about the good things that Zombies vs. Plants offers but I'll save you the time so you can go buy the game and enjoy it for yourself.

Fight Night Champion9
Jan 7, 2012
The best Fight Night title to date. I would even go as far as saying the best sports game of the year. The graphics are superb, the sounds in and out of the ring are great, and the gameplay is better than ever. The story mode is great fun and I enjoyed every second of it. The online is deep and can become addictive. A must-own title for boxing fans.

Left 4 Dead6
Jan 7, 2012
This is one of those games that you can pop in and play with a friend for maybe like an hour or two and then you'll probably want to quit and play something else. The game has almost no storyline and becomes repetitive just hours after playing it. The content is weak and the game lacks depth. I'm a huge zombie fan and I love co-op games but I found Left 4 Dead hard to enjoy. I would only recommend this game if you have a friend to play with. It's a good time waster if you need to burn an hour or two with a friend.

Stacking8
Jan 7, 2012
Stacking is probably my favorite downloadable title of 2011. The characters are great and the world is breathing with life. Though the game is kinda short, it's still a must-play. It's a beautiful little gem and it shouldn't be missed.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim9
Jan 7, 2012
A must-own title for RPG fans. It's the best Elder Scrolls title to date. The world is massive and the landscape is absolutely beautiful. The animations and visuals have improved greatly since Oblivion. Even after spending 100+ hours with the game, I still have so much to do. I haven't even beat the main story yet and there is still tons of side quests left for me to do. I don't think there has ever been a game with so much content packed into one disc. The downside of Skyrim is like previous Bethesda titles, it's littered with glitches and freezing issues. I can't even count how many times the game has frozen on me. That is about the only problem I have with the game and it's what keeps it from getting a perfect score. I still highly recommend it to anyone looking to grind/loot through a beautiful world of quality content.

Red Dead Redemption10

A true masterpiece. Everything from the story to the soundtrack is just incredible. There is so much content to indulge in and you can spend countless hours just exploring the beautiful landscapes. The multiplayer is a blast and is surprisingly deep. The gameplay is as smooth as ever and Rockstar's Engine truly shines. All of the downloadable content is great as well and shouldn't be missed.
