If one can stomach the questionable story choices, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 has some of the most engaging sniping action around. Whether a player wants to simply click a button and watch a slo-mo bullet explode a head, or whether they want to be forced to calculate exactly how far an enemy will walk in the one and a half seconds between the bullet leaving the barrel and closing the deadly distance, SGWC2 scales exactly to any level of interest and skill. It may be brutally violent, but it’s an intensely satisfying sniper experience.

The enemy AI needs work and the game’s budget was too low for the developers to polish all the details, but with its spacious environments perfect for extremely long shots (headshots on moving targets from 1500 meters are awesome!) and interesting combat scenarios turning sometimes into puzzle-like situations, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is definitely worth recommending as a well-designed, really fun game. The story is a bland concoction of cultural and military stereotypes but it does a proper job of setting the stage for the action, which can be very satisfying, at least at sniping distance. The less open-world nature of the campaign keeps things moving and the large toybox of gadgets and weapons is there for players to use, or not. I wish Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 had a more engaging set of characters and better action combat outside the sniping mechanics, but the game is a well-made step in the right direction for the franchise.

Bought it on sale for a small price. Even at full price it is not very expensive. Considering the cost it is a decent one time sandbox to spend 6 to 10 hours in and then never touch again. I liked it.

I loved the sniper elements of Hitman so got this to play more sniper games. The aiming and gameplay is semi intuitive but theres not much of a tutorial to show you the nuances. Its a nice casual game that you can pick up any time. For the $5 I paid it was a bargain. The main character doesn't pay taxes though so minus a point for that.

A solid shooting game that manages to achieve the perfect balance between two different worlds. Above all, it presents the experience of a sniper in a highly entertaining and spectacular way.

And finally I arrived at the definitive game of all of the ghost Warrior hehehe. The stealth of this game is very good. the distance the bullet travels until it hits the target and something insane to see

This game is an absolute upgrade to the previous game. It is rare for some stealth games to be set in arid/desert environments. The graphics are great and I enjoy the difficulty of the Long Shot Contracts.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 works well as a sniping game and a stealth FPP game with interesting maps. The title focuses on getting straight to gameplay instead of overwhelming players with numerous scripts and cutscenes. It's not perfect, but each installment of the series is getting closer to a bullseye.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is one of the best games in the world for doing sniping right, that's something I firmly believe. However, CI Games almost seem afraid of letting the game shine, all too often moving you away from sniping, an action the game is named after. In addition, the game is showing a few issues, such as downright stupid AI and a few bugs here and there. It's a shame because there are good open areas to move around in, the contracts allow you to use your brain and plan the perfect hit and it all looks great while you're on your path to becoming the world's best blood-spatter creator.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a rather simplistic game, aimed to the more casual audience. It can be a little frustrating, especially when there's too much enemies on screen, and when the pacing starts to drag on. But the shooting itself feels fine, and it's not like there is a lot of sniper-focused games on the market right now.

Contracts 2 is, regrettably, a near miss that can’t be resolved with a quick follow-up shot. The run of the mill shooting drags the rest of the game down, and there’s so much of it it’s nearly impossible to overlook.vHowever, I’ve still enjoyed my time with the game and will be dipping back into the Long Shot contracts for a while to polish off some more of those challenges.

It's actually really good. Far better than it has been given credit for sadly. CI games finally managed to drop a GOOD game that does what it aims to without trying to be anything else. It is unabashedly itself. And I respect that, a great deal. Especially in todays day and age in the gaming industry.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 | 2022 | PC | Played for: 36h Gravity, Wind, Lead-Time are all accounted for by a good sniper. The well established sniper formula of long range kills and close quarters stealth infiltration. The story is forgettable. Set in typical middle-east environments.
Climbing mechanic is very poor, stealth is not realistic and pistol has 0 damage past 10 meters.
Some bugs for achievements and challenges tracking and also sometimes alarms linger while loading older save-games. Overall I enjoyed and felt motivated to hunt for all achievements. Story: 5/10

Music/Sound: 7,5/10

well, one of the best games in 2021 which was a bs year with bs releases . graphics and gameplay was ok but the biggest problem in this game is the saving system! no manual saving mode and auto saving **** since it's only good when you die and it reloads the last check point. but once you exit the game, you have to replay the whole mission all over regardless of how many contracts in a single mission you have already accomplished. even though on the region menu it shows your progress but there's no resume!

I'm amazed at the positive reviews. Poor key bindings, a confusing interface (how for example do you actually select grenades and throw them?), messy sandbox missions that feel aimless (no pun intended), stupid enemies, too may long shot missions and annoyingly drawn out save cycles. Topped off by more than a few bugs. Eye candy wise it has a lot to offer but then so do a lot of other poor games. I played for a couple of hours and quickly became bored and irritated, in equal measure. Last time I'll have anything to do with this franchise.
