Nation Red - Great game with many different modes and many more to come. The game plays from a top-down angle with an overhead crosshair, or you can zoom to a (less viable but more visual) diagonal camera perspective. There are over 20 weapons to play with, such as the Berretta 93r, M1014 shotgun, AA-12, Dual Uzis, MP5k, Mac10, Nailgun, M16, AK-47, M240B, Minigun, Flamethrower and M79 grenade launcher. There are also over 70 perks to collect with each level you earn and many possible builds to fit your playstyle. There are a number of power-up drops like bullet time (slow motion), sentry guns, proxy mines, shield vests and uranium bullets. More weapons, perks and power-ups being added regularly with constant updates from the developers to the likes of (and inspired by) Team Fortress 2. Many features are still very new, like co-op and barricade modes and do have their issues, but they are constantly being worked on. This is a game that will start off good and just get's better and better with each update. The community forums are filled with new ideas and suggestions and the developers actually reply to a lot of them and have a lot of plans for future updates. There is currently 2-player multiplayer which you can play either co-operatively with shared XP on or off. But there is also a very interesting 'Anti-Perk' mode which pitts both players against each other and allows special perk upgrades that are built specifically to hinder another players survival capabilities. With an upcoming class based 4-player co-op mode being introduced soon, as well as many other features and overhauls, Nation Red is one of those games that I can always go back to. No other game does top-down zombies THIS good!
