From the makers of the Left 4 Dead games so it's gotta be good right? Only partially correct. Evolve simply does not deliver enough content for the price it is. $60 for 5 game modes!!?!? Not worth the cash. I've played some $10 indie games with the same amount of content. (which are sometimes more fun too) Not to mention even though the different game modes have different objectives, the gameplay still feels the same. Evolve is more like just the multiplayer piece of Left 4 Dead, and with less gamemodes. One upside of this game is the ability to play offline with AIs instead of actual players. (which is something Titanfall lacked) However, there is no single player story mode. The only story we get is one cut-scene when first starting the game. I give this game a 4/10 because there are other elements of the game needed to make it a full $60. Evolve needs a story mode/campaign, and some sort of survival mode type gamemode to make it a full game. The game also needs more modes to go along with it's multiplayer. My advice to anyone considering buying this game: borrow from a friend, rent it, or simply forget about it. I was only able to play Evolve for a week and a half before I lost interest. Save your money for a game that will actually make you say "This game is completely worth $60, not $15 like Evolve.

In my opinion, the best kind of games are the ones that four best friends on the couch can play together. You get some friends to play this game with you, and you will all have a great time laughing your heads off or during half time when the "kiss cam" shows up through kinect and it places a forever alone face on your friend. What makes this game fun is the humor involved and if you have friends to play it with. The gameplay is simple enough. Jump around a 2-D arena which has a goal on each end. Use RT to both shoot and knock the ball out of the opponents hand. Yes with the combination of friends, hilarious mini sections and games during half-time, crazy bouncing around gameplay, and the scrolling bar of people's tweets about #IDARB at the bottom of the screen, this game will keep you and your friends busy for hours on end. As for a person playing alone, I would rate this game 4/10, simply because you will have nearly no fun without the human interaction of your friends. I fell on the ground laughing after my friend smashed my other friend's bag of Doritos because of a lucky goal.

Seeing as I am very good at this game and usually top the list in score, of course I'm going to like it! The only problem is the game can get boring quite fast for some people. I still enjoy it, but not enough to play for more than two hours. The game-mode "Gardens and Graveyards", however, is enormously fun, with the zombies attacking and the plants defending multiple gardens on a very large map. Without that game-mode, I'd probably have stopped playing the game by now.

Bluepoint Games did an excellent job on this port and exceeded all of my expectations. Sure the resolution and frame rate aren't as good as the Xbox One's version of the game, but it still runs fantastic for an Xbox 360 game. There's also an option to cap frame rate at 30 so it stays consistent which is an excellent feature. I'm completely into this game, but the reason I don't give it a full 10/10 is because of the lack of story/campaign. The only story you really get is some voice acting in the game lobbies, and a few cut scenes within a total of 18 missions which basically just work like regular game modes. When jumping around and focusing on the match, It's also hard to pay attention to the story going on through voice acting and a few cut-scenes that appear in your HUD. Overall a fantastic multiplayer game, but with a single player campaign, it would have been legendary.
