Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS. MaxiBoost ON

Something all fighting games should do is have all characters in the game and not have 20 season passes worth 3 times the game. In this game you have 185 unique playable mobile suits, a lot more than other fighting games asking the same price like Granblue with 11 characters. The game is very mechanical so it may be hard to grasp for newcomers but once you get it you'll wanna experiment and learn more. You can add your own music via USB if youd like so the game can have an almost infinite amount of tracks. Online is very active but rooms fill very quick. Single player content includes branch battle that lets you choose various paths of increasing difficulty to fight the main boss. This mode includes hidden battles and bosses. Maxi boost missions includes over 200 battles with varing conditions of winning and losing. In this mode only you can upgrade your mobile suit with more hp, defense, and mony other effects

Game is nice in terms of designs and animations but extremely poor decisions in single player content. RPG mode is mostly spent fighting waves of goons every other battle with a battle of a 'boss' sprinkled here and there. Overall you can get to the last boss and the epiloge boss fairly quick. Problem is these last 2 bosses have 3 forms each while having unblockable attacks. The epiloge boss however seems to be designed in such way to make it impossible to beat without cheesing some way or another. It has super armor (no stun), teleports frequently (means no combos), chip damage almost does as much as getting hit, unblockable attacks, a move that is instant kill, a free hit that takes all health except 1hp after reaching about 30% health left on the boss (if you heal before this you're basically screwed), and thats not taking into account an 'overdrive' mechanic for bosses that increases their damage and minimizes the damage they take. If you have dlc, don't expect to see some scenarios with them as you are required to beat this boss before any of their scenarios pop up or unlock weapons or anything else for them.

Game is fun but there are 3 major problems. 1. There is one particular level with waterfalls and a rainbow bridge where an enemy clips in a wall and is stuck inside it. Normally you can't finish missions until you kill everything so if an enemy gets stuck you'll likely won't be able to kill it. Forcing you to restart the entire mission over or spending loads of time trying to kill it. This unfortunately happens often in this level 2. One enemy called saurous lags the game exponentially when it uses its fire breathing to the point the game doesn't register inputs making you stand still as you life drains in 3 seconds. Thankfully it doesn't appear in to many missions 3. RNG is the worst I've ever seen in any game. Say you want a rocket launcher, you'll need to find the Character that holds it in a mission and rescue them. Doesn't sound bad right? Unfortunately, no. First you have to hope to RNG that the character spawns in a level and hope to rng that, if you do rescue them, they have a weapon. If they don't good luck finding them again. Then be disappointed they don't have it once more. Also the one level that all characters are guaranteed to spawn at some point is the one level dedicated to saurous
