I won't lie, JRPG's are not my thing but this game really intrigued me and I was able to enjoy it for a couple days, I did eventually burn out of the turn based combat and stop playing but that's simply not my preferred play style, I think the way it is implemented is pretty great for those that do enjoy it. The game has a large amount of story and dialogue to it that I would love to see more of and feel like I only barely scratched the surface. If you're a fan of JRPG's and turn based combat, you really can't go wrong with this game.

Lost Castle is a really fun time with a group of friends. You will almost certainly die countless times but in each death you will make progress in the way of skills/level ups. Prepare to play the game for some time to really beat it. I really enjoyed the entire feel of the game and controls. Get it and enjoy!

This game is a fantastic entry into the souls like genre. It's a challenging boss only game that looks and feels great, the 7 deadly sins concept is fascinating. Does it beat Dark Souls? No. This is an indie game that runs less than $20 and made by a smaller team and I am factoring that into the review. With that said, it is a really good game worth the time if you are a fan of challenging souls like games. There's a lot of replay ability due to multiple endings and an endless boss mode. It's perfect for that quick sit down and hopping right into the action. It's also available on Switch which makes that even more accessible to do on the go!
