This beign an open world is just an excuse to set a riddiculous price tag on the game. It's just races, same **** as always. Visually I guess it looks ok, a few years behind the standard, classic Nintendo. Overall just feels like a polished scam, seems this is their new business scheme.

Kojima has just become a meme of himself. Another round on this walking sim with extra nonsense. The writing is trying so hard to stand out that it is just completely off. The best part of the game are the environments, and they look straight out of a tech demo from 5 years ago. They look nice for sure, but generic and unintentional.

Most pretentious walking simulator I have ever seen. This game is constantly laughing at the player's face.

The game is fine because the art is amazing, it truly looks beautiful. But the main core of the game is the combat, and it doesn't feel very good. Sometimes clunky, sometimes floaty, sometimes quick and crisp and sometimes irresponsive. Also the timing of the parries and dodges feels too odd, for example, the way you time dodges while locked on a target is very different from the way you would do it if the lock on is off. So overall the main issue is inconsistency in combat. Such a shame because the environments and models look super good, could have been something great, but not this messy combat for 50 bucks...

Simply boring. The game looks nice, and the animations are great, but that is all it has to offer. Even for a walking sim this is weak. The few moments of combat are extremely repetitive. Right when the game starts, you get a cinematic, as usual, and it takes (not kidding) 10 full minutes until you can take control of your charcter for the first time. This is awful, the devs forgot at some point they where making a videogame, gameplay shoud be the main focus, the rest comes afterwards. This is a 5 hour cinematic with some playable parts. And 50 bucks for this? No thank you, I'm glad I went full Jack Sparrow on this one

This would have been disappointing as a AA game in ****'s crazy that companies think they can get away with this s*it in 2024.

It's embarrassing. A very disappointing tech demo pretending to be something else. Anything within the universe makes any sense, neither it is well executed. It doesn't even look good.

Why does it look that bad?? I'm not even going to complain about all the other obvious flaws the game has, but why it has to look like that? You could grab any game engine, create a random world with random objects using default assets, and the result would be something looking at least decent. They had to tweak the visuals on purpose to make it look bad, it is stupid.

What to say at this point... You all know about the pay to win BS. Oh man when I first saw that cringy UI specially designed to scam the hell out of players...

There are tech demos more entertaining than this. Yes, the game introduces a slightly new kind of combat, but that's it, the overall gameplay design is simply boring. And by the way, the visuals are not that good.

Mediocre at best, I did beat the game because it is short enough to get through it, but I got bored before even finishing the first run. The game looks beautiful an unique at first glance, but once you start **** my. Basically there is almost no gameplay. Imagine a FPS survival game so empty and with such dull mechanics that it ends up being a walking simulator. Now, imagine that but in a turn based game with top down view... How exciting! That is exactly what happens to Insurmountable, a nice idea with nothing else.

Weaker than I expected. The artistic side is great, but the gameplay is not very engaging, combat feels fine... and that's it. ^Plus the way that so called aging mechanic is implemented is stupid.

So... most of the free to play games out there offer way better content than this. One of the most successful scams I have ever seen

It's just awful. The game is slow and boring, not much content, you will spend way more time waiting for the matches and walking around to find someone than actually playing. The game feels completely empty and a waste of time.
