Super Mario Odyssey7
Oct 27, 2017
Uninspired, slow paced, and artificially long, this game is nothing but mediocre and overrated. The game boasts a staggering 600+ moons, yet half of them are obtained by simple means just to boost the Moon count. Assets are reused from previous games. Grass is textured. City is lifeless. Bland level design. The only people who will find difficulty in this game are 8 year old children at best. Whatever happened to the difficulty Nintendo was known for? Nintendo has finally catered to the casual audience making this title... Average.

The Legend of Dark Witch9
Dec 26, 2014
This game is GREAT! It's beautiful, challenging, and most importantly, FUN, which are qualities all games should have. It's extremely similar to Megaman, although it features an upgrade system that's pretty simple. 8 stages in total, and all packed with fun. There's also unlockables that you can buy with points you get by playing the game, or by betting them in a game of Poker. In addition, there's an extra character you can play as by beating the game. Almost everything about the Legend of Dark Witch is great! The only thing bad about Legend of Dark Witch is the story, which isn't really important, because games like this don't need a story. Without a story, this game would still be just as good. Overall, this game is just awesome and only loses points because it could have improved a bit on the story and **** in the end it's highly recommended! Plus, it comes at a low price of $3.99, which is pretty low for a title this impressive. I honestly feel as if I've gotten my money's worth and more from playing this gem ****.

Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale2
Dec 25, 2014
This game was recommended by many, and I saw it on sale at the eshop, and so I thought, "What the heck? It must be good since it's so well liked." Boy was I wrong. I went in expecting a game, and came out wondering where my game was and wanting a refund, because I felt robbed. Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale, is what it states it is, a "tale", not a game, but a "tale". This tale, however, failed to entertain me. It fails as a game and a tale, because the story makes absolutely no sense it all. Without spoiling too much, there's monsters, aliens, kids, and cards. This all adds up to become a simmering pot of disaster. With this, the game actually takes itself seriously. There's a few jokes here and there, but for the most part, the game is supposed to be serious. NOTHING made sense and I was left with $3 gone to waste. If you're looking for a game, then don't buy this. If you're looking for a story, then don't buy this either. If you're researching horrible overrated games or if you feel like burning money, then this is just the "game" for you.

Pokemon Omega Ruby7
Dec 25, 2014
Omega Ruby was expected to be better than Pokemon X/Y. It was supposed to build upon the greatness that it was. It was supposed to be blow every other Pokemon game out of the water. However, I expected too much. OR (Omega Ruby) has both great things and bad things. There's some pretty parts, and some ugly parts, but disappointingly enough, the ugly outweighs the pretty. And makeup isn't enough to cover up its blemishes. First things first are the new mega evolutions that were introduced. I for one, enjoyed them. BUT, they're not compatible with X/Y. That's one huge issue. Prior to its release, most expected complete compatibility, and while you can still battle between X/Y and OR, you are restricted from using the new mega evolutions, in addition to some new moves that were also introduced. This really makes X/Y somewhat obsolete as everyone will have to switch from XY to OR to have full enjoyment. This was never an issue before, as in Generation IV's Pearl/Ruby was still compatible with Platinum, which introduced new forms to other Pokemon. You didn't have to buy Platinum to be able to battle unrestricted, but it's somehow an issue for OR. In addition, OR was supposed to step leaps and bounds ahead of X and Y, but instead they took one step forward and another step back, landing them right at the exact same spot. They took away what many fans enjoyed out of X and Y such as character customization, and awesome gym designs. X and Y featured unique gyms that were never the same. For example, there was a gym shaped like the Eiffel Tower. In OR, all gyms look almost all the same, except with different colors. It might sound silly, but it just shows the designers' laziness. Speaking of laziness, OR left out another feature that was in Pokemon Emerald. that many fans enjoyed, and that was the Battle Frontier. OR doesn't have that, but it does have what X and Y had, which was a complete copy/paste of the Battle Maison. Pure laziness. BUT, I have to give credit where credit is due. I enjoyed the new Delta episode, I enjoyed the new soaring mechanic, and the addicting "sneaking" part of the game. Other than that, there's nothing memorable about OR. In the end, OR in its core is what a Pokemon game is supposed to be. While it didn't impress me, it wasn't that awful. It failed to improve, and that's not all that bad. Hopefully Gamefreak will decide to listen to the fans, and not try to make a quick cash grab from people's nostalgia.
