Awful. This isn't Mafia at all. It's a GTA rip-off that is so poorly done that I wouldn't even pick it up from the garbage bin. Technically, it's a failure. Story wise, it's a failure. Character wise, it's a failure. What does this game have to even do with the Mafia like the first two? Disgraceful.
Garbage. Complete garbage. Bungie's first and only love was Halo, and after Microsoft kicked them to the curb their only goal was to make a quick buck, and that's this game. An absolute cash grab filled with Halo assets.
Amazing. Incredible. Unmatched. The Fire Emblem series is the greatest strategy game franchise in history and Conquest proves what we already know. It's a step down in quality from Awakening, but even then it is still the game of the year.
If you look up the word "RPG", Dragon Quest VII is right next to it. This is one of the pillars of the role-playing game catalog. You will easily get over 100 hours of gameplay out of a "rush" story mode session and the game runs exceptionally well on the best handheld on the market, by the best gaming company on the planet.
Bioshick Infinite has received absolutely no upgrades from last gens version, and the two other Bioshocks have marginal upgrades at best. Pass on this, it's terrible value.
Stop buying FIFA and buy a real football game, that game is PES. The gameplay in this series has always been superb and this year they completely take it up a notch.
Every dev should take notes from Codemasters, this is how you turn a franchise around after a poor effort. After last years disasters, F1 2016 improves in absolutely every single way. This is THE racing game of 2016 as far as I'm concerned and without a doubt the best racer on PS4.
Disappointing "effort" from Capcom. This game is absolutely awful and should have never been green lit. Graphics are straight up garbage and look like they were ripped from a PSP.
This RPG is fantastic. Unlike the competitors, Microsoft's Games with Gold promotion releases incredible games monthly and this is no exception. Earthlock reminds me so much of what the Tales series was like before it went into the gutter. The turn-based combat is done perfectly and the party members have unique designs. The biggest joy though comes from the soundtrack, which is great.
If you're tired of hand holding and "hard" difficulty settings that feel cheap with artificial AI increases, look no further than the Dark Souls series. You will die, a lot. But when you finish the game you will have a feeling like no other. This game looks and runs amazing on the XB1.
An absolutely dumpster quality racing games that performs much better on PC. Then again, even this colossal failure of a title is still better than any Gran Turismo to date.
Sony's attempt to counter Nintendo and the king of monster hunting games, Monster Hunter. This game absolutely falls short in every category and doesn't even come close to capturing the gameplay and performance MH does on Nintendo.
This game is loads of fun. It runs great on the Xbox One and stays true to the anime. Spider-man on steroids is how I would describe it. No dub is disappointing, but beggars can't be choosers. This game is well worth your time and money!
This is what PS4 offers over the competition? If so, count me out. This game is absolutely horrendous. The music makes my ears bleed and completely songs earns you nothing but "outfits" so I guess you can play dress up?
This game looks absolutely incredible on the Xbox One. Square Enix made an incredible choice in choosing to put it on the best console on the market, making it FIRST on Xbox One and making sub-optimal platforms wait a year.
That crook Sean Murray should take notes, THIS is how you create and market a game. Everything that was advertised is here and then some! The action sequences are phenomenal and the combat feels perfect whether you're playing the game stealth or going in guns blazing. It's been a terrible last six months for game and Deus Ex has broken the drought!
The graphics are so bad and the fighting system is really boring. Compared to Smash and Guilty Gear this game is so slow paced and the multiple characters per team is really annoying, it's slow and sluggish unlike the fast paced tagging and switching in Marvel.
Aside from the frustrating battle system, everything about this game is a lot of fun. The music is great, the environments are cute and the Yo-Kai have neat designs that I enjoy. There is also a difficulty to this game that was a breath of fresh air compared to similar games in the monster collecting genre. Within the first two hours I had died three times, which was a welcome change from not dying a single time in the last five years playing the competitors games!

Another Soony first party failure. Bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. Do. Not. Buy. Do. Not. Buy. Do. Not. Buy. Horrible. Awful. Cut scene simulator. FAILURE of a "game"
The dev is an absolute crook! This game was sold on LIES. Where is the multiplayer component that was promised? Where was the debugging? This game constantly crashes! Are you kidding me? I buy games to play them! Not have them crash!!
This game is an unmitigated disaster. Frame drops to 15 fps, horrible FOV and absolutely no online component even though it was marketed as such. If chipping away at rocks for two hours is your idea of fun, then by all means waste your money on this atrocity.
A typical Marvel rip-off. No DLC included at all, the graphics and performance is exactly the same as lest gen. There was absolutely no effort put into this post. It isn't remastered, it isn't improved on. The devs literally took the code, configured it so it would work on current gen systems and sent it out to the public. Minimum effort, maximum price.
Worse than Cory In The House, and that's saying something! Do not support this horrific cash grab by Sony. This year has exposed us to many stinkers, from Umbrella Corps to Homefront: Revolution, but this game absolutely takes the cake as the worst game I have ever had the fortune of playing.
This game is without a doubt this most disappointing effort in 2016. The environments are absolutely terrible with no soul. the music sounds like it was made with budget composers, the characters are lifeless and the battle system is a travesty. This once great franchise is great no more.
This game is an absolute disgrace and a definitive reason why kickstarting games from devs who constantly ask for more and more money(opposed to the devs of Shantae, Yooka-Laylee, etc.) is sheer stupidity. Nothing about this game is good.
This game is FLAWLESS. I've never played a more polished launch title than Overwatch. Everything from the options down to the game play itself feels as though it's been in development for the last 15 years. There is easily 100+ hours of content in the base game, not including all the post-launch DLC which will be absolutely free. Devs, take notes from Blizzard. Overwatch is a smash hit!
Shameful. This game was a blatant cash grab by a studio who did their best to push it out as quick as possible. The original was unique and fresh, with a great story and multiplayer. This game is soulless. Do not buy!!
Complete disappointment. After the original showed so much promise, this game was a complete step back. Changing devs mid-cycle took it's toll and what we were left with was a studio looking to release this game as fast as possible in order to get paid. Avoid at all costs.
Amazing. Truly amazing. This is the DOOM we all know and love. A brilliant FPS with fantastic sound and enemy design. For an FPS, the campaign is a very good length and worth every penny. If you value atmospheric games, look no further than this! On a side note, it's sad that this game will get butchered with critic reviews because they refused to give in to the big corporations and give them advanced copies.
No challenge mode at launch. Are you kidding me? An absolute bare bones mode as you can get and it's not available to play until a "free" update next month? Oh, and good luck winning 2000 games a month to afford these "free" characters. What a colossal joke Capcom is.
A refreshing take on the shooting genre. Loads of customization, every single piece of DLC is free, incredible fortification, this game really has it all in terms of a tactical shooter. People will inevitably complain because there is no campaign, but as someone who has been playing FPS campaigns since the 90s, they are rarely worth a damn in the first place. Considering there are tons of singleplayer only games that release at $60, why does a multiplayer only game at $60 get flak? I can easily pour 40 hours into this multiplayer, which is more bang for your buck than almost any $60 release on the market currently save for Bloodborne and Fallout.
Being my first Disgaea game, I was a little unsure what to expect. As a long time fan of the Fire Emblem series, I was looking for a new strategy RPG to delve into. What I got was a gorgeous looking game with fantastic music and character choices. The dialogue is funny, albeit annoying at times but don't let that take away from the overall package. As a newer player, I felt the need to grind problematic. Because there is so much to learn about this series, veterans should have no problem breezing through this game(and by breezing I mean 30+ hours), but if you're new to this genre(or game in particular) prepare to spend a few hours in dungeons alone killing the same enemies over and over again to level up. If you enjoy the grind though, you will absolutely love this game! My recommendation? Buy it.
An absolute disgrace of a video game. 4 maps in multiplayer, no single player campaign, barebones customization, Stormtroopers with identical heads to that of the Rebels. There is so much wrong with this obvious cash grab that it's incredible how people gave this game anything more than two stars. After playing more than four hours I am finished with this game. It is boring, boring, boring. Game modes all feel the exact same, Walker Assault maps are horribly unbalanced to the point where the Rebel's easily have a 95% win rate on Endor, the lack of server browser is appalling, which makes getting into games a headache, and vehicles and heroes spawning in the exact same locations makes players just camp them. I can't tell you how many 60-5 games I've had just sitting on AT-AT and AT-ST spawns, and there's nothing the enemies can do about it. Do NOT buy this game.
