A wonderful little indie game with adult topics. You play as a nurse who's deadly ill. She'll take one more assignement in taking care of an old man on a farm. Not much later, CATS appear.. YES, cats. Are they your only hope in finding meaning and everlasting life/peace? On the way you'll meet strange figures, demons and hellish creatures, so be prepared! A side-scroller set in a dark and gritty world with amazing art, voice-acting and generally interesting leveldesign.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong5
Jun 3, 2022
While you have three characters to play as throughout the story, only the Malkavian, Leysha, has a somewhat engaging story and made me curious where it was going. The other two characters are way too bland, and they lost my interest fairly early. Though, each has unique ways to approach their objective and it alters your gamestyle slightly. Sadly, you a forced to play with the vampire they choose, and you can't pick another character for that single mission. The puzzles can be very obvious to almost impossible to understand at first. Some are clever, while most are unimaginative. Sadly, with an interesting lore to expand on and with an OK RPG system/idea, it fails to deliver on multiple accounts. While it is interesting to discover new stories in the V:TM-series, its poor gameplay and sometimes tedious objectives stop this from being an engaging experience. And the ending is lackluster and plain disappointing. I will just go back to V:TM Bloodlines for now, as that game is still much more compelling and true to its RPG roots.

The Walking Dead: Episode 2 - Starved for Help9
Jun 28, 2012
They finally released the second episode in the series. It's incredible how you forget the time while playing. A quick view on this latest chapter. - POSITIVE: - The characters are both interesting and unique, you really care about what happens to them. - Exciting until the very end. - A disturbing post-apocalyptic world. - Choices carry over from Episode 1. - New and difficult choices to make. - Great atmosphere - NEGATIVE: - Some hickups in sound and image. - CONCLUSION: Episode 2 is fantastic. It's characters will **** you in this post-apocalyptic world and you'll try to survive no matter what. Get ready for one of the best stories in recent gaming history.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings9
May 31, 2012
The Witcher has finally arrived on consoles, and what great game! ... I have played both witchers on the pc and I loved every bit of it. So, basicly, as a witcher fan, I gave it a try on the xbox 360... and god, they actually pulled it off. ... POSITIVES: - Fluent but challenging combat. - Potion-system (prepare for battle in different ways) - Great story and characters. - Crafting system. - Lore and locations. - Different ways to finish quests and the main story. - New tutorial system! ... NEGATIVES: - A few graphical hickups. Not many customisations character-wise (look) ... CONCLUSION: - The Witcher 2 on the xbox 360 is a great game. From combat that's entertaining and rewarding, to the complexity but interesting world that shapes according to the choices you make. ... Superb.

The Walking Dead: Episode 1 - A New Day9
Apr 29, 2012
I'm positively surprised by the impact this game had for me. It has a new and fun gameplay. What I especially liked was the involvement you have on the story. Your choices matter and you realy care about the characters around you. Be warned though, don't come looking for a shooter like Left for Dead... this game is more an interactive story... Just one technical issue, sometimes it shows hickups while saving or loading a new area, but this doesn't interrupt the great experience you'll get from playing this game. If all episodes are like this... it'll be one great ride!

Mass Effect 39
Apr 8, 2012
The Mass Effect trilogy receives it's latest and last chapter. After starting up the game I immediately noticed big differences. You have 'less say' in the dialogue options. Comparing it to Mass Effect 1 it's a huge leap backwards. Why would you take away something that made the first one so great?! Don't get me wrong, you still have times where you have to choose between outcome A or B, and believe me when I say that those choices are immensely difficult, that because you realy care about the characters and story... also Mass Effect 3 hugely improved on the combat system, it's near perfect. You realy enjoy using the weapons and powers to take town hordes of enemies... this all on a great galactic scale while explosion and reaper invasion-sounds hurl around you. Epic, I'd say. The Multiplayer has this great combat aswel, minus the epicness that you get in the single-player ofc. ... After having several friends telling me the ending is completely out of place... I finally got to the end. I have to say, it's not THAT bad... It's still epic and the climax is there! ... but I do have to agree, it gives no closure on Shepard or everyone else around him/her. Mass Effect 3 is a great game, you notice the hard labor that Bioware made for making this title, and the Original Score + the graphical design and presentation makes this one hell of a trip into the sci-fi universe of Mass Effect. So all in all, I know the ending could've been much better, but since EA announced they will give us more closure in the near future, I believe it will make this game jump that one step higher on my personal scoreboard.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception9
Nov 8, 2011
It's amazing how they created another masterpiece in the Uncharted universe. The single player is engaging, exciting and never show any dull moment. You'l have one hell of an adrenaline-rush when you finaly reach the last level, so that'll you'll be begging for more! ... The multiplayer is fun and rewarding, so you'll definitely come back for more! ... One thing though,... sometimes you'll want to take cover but the game will put you on the opposite wall instead, meaning your demise. It can give you a moment of pain, but that'll soon be over with the game's regular checkpoints. ... In the end, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is awesome. It's a ride you'll want to take.

Dungeon Siege III6
Nov 2, 2011
I'm a huge RPG fan, so I decided to give Dungeon Siege 3 a try, even when I never played any of the previous games. Let's say it has been a mixed experience. You have 4main characters, all with their own unique skills and upgrades. The game can be played alone or with a friend with local or online co-op (online has 4 player limit while offline has 2). The co-op is not that interesting, mainly because the camera has a mind of it's own while you can't zoom in or out anymore, ...when playing alone though, you are able to zoom in very closely. I personally prefer to see my character and enjoy the armor he/she is wearing. That brings me to the next point... the armor isn't interesting since many look-a-like. Weapons are ok, but have the same basic attacks. Another negative point is the dialogue, most of the voice acting is fair or even bad, especially one of the main characters, Katarina, one of the worst in my game history. Also when having a conversation with characters, your back is always turned towards the camera, and there is almost no movement of any of the characters, they just stand there... talking. So the conversation isn't that compelling as (for example) Dragon Age. .... Don't get me wrong though, not EVERYTHING is bad about this game. It still has a fun combat system, though a bit repetitive after awhile, and the RPG elements qua choice are all there. You realy feel your choices have an impact on the story progression. In the end, the game feels ok but could've been much better, especially if they'd improved the co-op experience. If you can get this game cheap, then give it a try... because it's not realy worth the full price tag.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution9
Sep 13, 2011
I never played the original Deus Ex, but that's something you clearly don't need to enjoy this game. Basicly, don't come looking for a first person shooter. It's a mix of stealth/action..., but you do have scenes you have to shoot like hell... this however is optional. Boss encounters forces you into combat... and even then you can replace it with setting traps or just bombing him/her away.-- POSITIVE: Incredible story telling - Interesting characters - Augmentation (upgrade) system - the many ways for completing quests, so definitely replayability!-- NEGATIVE: Some characters can look bland, graphicly wise. CLOSING COMMENTS: Deus Ex: HR is a great game. It's fun, interesting and beautiful.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood9
Sep 4, 2011
After Assassin's Creed 2, I was wondering what Ubisoft could possibly do to improve this concept... well, they have. More things to do, better customization and in all improved gameplay in fighting from a horse, shooting and more. POSITIVE: Incredible story, still great wall climbing, training and using assassin's to aid you in your battle and send them to missions across Europe. Great visuals. Atmospheric music. NEGATIVE: Climbing/running mechanics can work against you in quick sequences, leaving you behind or even dead by falling. CONCLUSION: 'Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood' is excellent in almost every aspect, it's an improvement on the last one and quite satisfying to play.

Alpha Protocol6
Aug 17, 2011
When I first heard of this game I was thrilled. Secret agent, RPG elements, choices and action. What could a veteran RPG player want more? ... Alpha Protocol nails it on the RPG elements. You have an incredible amount of choices that realy impact the story progression. Actions make your character even develop differently, for example... if you use alot of incendiary grenades, you'll get a perk for them that makes you either better in using them or improve the general stats. But this game also has some serious flaws. The combat is crap, you'll die numerous times just because the A button doesn't command your character as it should, and you'll end in plain sight instead of being in cover. Most of the time the shooting is uncontrollable, as it will make you wish even more you have the automatic targeting from Splinter Cell Conviction. ... ///POSITIVE: Interesting characters who have reputation depending on your actions. - Good story. - Great RPG elements. ///NEGATIVE: Plain graphics. - Weak combat system. - Bugs.. lot's of them. ///CONCLUSION -> Alpha Protocol is still a game any RPG fan should have tried to play at least once, but will mostly knock 90% of the players back towards another game before they even reach the ending.

Dragon Age II9
Mar 26, 2011
Many of us have been waiting to get our hand on the sequal to Origins. But when that day finally arrived, many of us thought it was a bad game, even awful. For me, this is... not true. Yes, the game can be different than Origins, but they still manage to keep the core. What I mean with 'Core' is very simple... -> If you've played Origins, you'll feel the resemblance, but with a much more fluent Combat System. POSITIVE:
- An incredible story finished with a climax ending.
- Stunning graphics
- Fluent gameplay
- Cool interaction/involvement with the characters
- 3 very different classes, each with subclasses NEGATIVE:
- Repetitive surroundings (especially inside buildings/caves)
- Somewhat annoying bugs that kill quests All in all, Dragon Age 2 delivers. It's a worthy successor and I hope they'll make exciting DLC in the near future.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time7
Dec 19, 2010
I have never played any Prince of Persia, so I said to myself: "This is your chance to experience them" ... after playing the first in the series... I came to an conclusion that it still has stuff to offer today... THE POSITIVE:
- The story is simple but interesting
- Awesome fighting mechanics
- Puzzles are fun
- Time rewind option
- HD remake
THE NEGATIVE:
- Sounds are bad, sometimes even hollow and just plain awful. (Is this a convert issue?)
- Short (about 7 hours)
- No replay value CLOSING COMMENTS:
It's worth the purchase and if it didn't had the sounds issues, it would've been a lot better.

Fallout: New Vegas8
Dec 17, 2010
A new fallout, a new experience? Well... yes and no. It feels the same as the previous installment, but better and improved. It has more to offer and it will take you several playthroughs to see and experience everything. POSITIVE:
- Voice acting is great
- Factions are fun to interact with and have reputation with you.
- Awesome choices that'll impact the world around you.
- Companions (they also have quests that involves them) NEGATIVE:
- Grafics didn't realy improve over Fallout 3
- Full of bugs (some of them quest-breaking)
- Game ends when you finished the main quest. So, if you enjoyed Fallout 3, or you're new to the series, it's a journey you want to take.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 27
Nov 21, 2010
I never been a huge fan of Marvel, not because I dislike it... but because I never realy had put the time in getting to know it. I just watched some of the famous movies like X-Men, Spiderman and Fantastic Four. So, when I had to chance to get this game rather cheap I decided to give it a go... THE POSITIVE:
- Great action and sometimes funny scenes.
- Fun co-op for up to 4 players.
- Great power combinations between heroes make it all more fun to adjust and experiment in several situations and boss encounters.
- Fun and interresting powers for each hero. THE NEGATIVE:
- The graphics could've been better.
- Lack of additional costumes for each hero. (only one each max.)
- While it's fun to beat enemies down, it rather gets linear after awhile.
- Camera issues, especially when playing co-op on one console.
- Conversations with the characters doesn't realy have impact on the story. CLOSING COMMENT:
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is a fun game that will keep you busy for several hours, and if you like to collect stuff and willing to try hard mode it can double that time.

Fable III9
Nov 4, 2010
At first I doubted that Fable 3 would be any better than it's predecessor, after playing almost 30 hours on one character I'd have come to the conclusion that Fable 3 surpasses it's previous titles! THE POSITIVE
From the moment you re-enter Albion you'll feel the magic that Lionhead created. It's funny, beautiful and most of all unique. It's something that you won't find in any other the game. Without any spoilers, -> You'll make a journey that will be long remembered, choices that really make you think and voice acting that'll take you away from reality. I can't praise this game enough. THE NEGATIVE
Though besides all these positive things, Fable 3 still lacks the customization of your characters face. Don't get me wrong, you can still choose to have a beard, make-up, hats, etc. but nothing as in changing the nose, eye-color etc. This is something I hope they will change in the future.
Bugs is another annoying thing that you will encounter while traversing Albion. I myself have experienced several bugs that made me restart the console, luckily the autosave is rather common and it won't put you too far back in the story. CLOSING COMMENTS
Lionhead made a game that will be remembered in the years to come. Anyone who played the previous Fable games will surely find home. People who have never played any of it's predecessors, this is a good time to explore the magical world that is ... Albion.
