Graphics was a huge improvement campaign wise and I really like the direction they took with the legacy of Master Chief in campaign mode. I am huge fan of Halo Multiplayer and I thought the changes were pretty good improvements for the most part, but one thing kept **** me, I felt like a lot of the new ideas were COD ripoffs (E.g. Drop packages, the prestige which not really prestige, ranking to unlock item system). COD is amazing title but if I wanted to play COD multiplayer, I would go buy it. I think some ideas were needed to improve the competitive play (Ability to enter and exit games without handicapping teammates) but they lack originality. I personally thought the ranking system in Halo 3 was more impressive when a person's skill level was more important rather than his/her ability to not have a life and live on the game, just my opinion.

I don't see how people are rating this game a 0... Really... I think those reviews are based off impulse because no game deserves a zero not even E.T. So I took the time to play the game in most of it's major features and I can say that I like it. In game physics is cool since I catch myself watching simple plays back in reply to re-watch a hit or a good run. I spent most of my time in Connect Careers Mode (CCM). I read reviews that have said that Franchise mode has been removed but I think that CCM is a hybrid of super star and franchise mode. I played mostly as a coach but I started two online careers. One career is by myself and I am in week 11 and the other I am in preseason still because my friends are taking forever to play their games. I think the news systems is cool, since when one of my friends made a trade it was posted in my news. The twitter doesn't do much for me, but I read them from time to time. I like scouting and progression a lot of in this game. It reminds me of a light RPG when I buy the packages for progressing my players but I do get lazy sometimes and automatically progress. Even with fantasy draft missing (I have only used this once anyways) and imported draft classes (I haven't used this since 03 when I was high school), this game is amazing and a new good direction that I haven't seen this franchise do since like 03 or 04. So to sum it up, CCM > Franchise/ Super Star mode and if you use fantasy draft/ imported draft classes regularly then you will love this game.

Extremely long, ridiculously in depth, and by far one of the most fulfilling turn-base role playing games (RPG) ever created. In the decade of the quick sensation video games, this title is no longer appreciated or pursued. This story line takes time to develop and the game can be ruthless at times, since when characters are killed and the user waits to long to revive, then characters will become apart of the undead and no longer be as they were. Also, the combination between elemental attacks were, relatively, unknown for when this title came out. This is a complete classic in the sense that if you put this in your Nintendo 64 today and took some time to learn the mechanics and play the game, then you would still have an amazing experience. Everything from elemental attacks to strategic placing, the alternate endings (which no game that I can think of had at that time), the abilities to change classes and equip weapons to each unit, to the strategic formation, and did I mention the numerous amount of characters to use, including dragons, ghosts, undead, humans, etc... This game has it all, all it needs is sometime for the user to learn the system and how things work, as all good in depth games do.
