brethren gather around! they did it! if you are the target demographic for this time of game like me: highly immersive post apocalyptic story action RPG game, then wait no more. It needed to cook a bit in the oven after release, but now with the 2.0 update I can safely say that this is a UNREAL experience, What. A. Game. There's nothing like it. Maybe the excellent Metro games but they offer way less dynamic world systems, and are much smaller in scope. This is game is friggin massive man. If you're up for a bit of a challenge, a game that doesn't show you how to crouch on a childrens playground with yellow stupid paint everywhere, a real exploration and survival game, this is friggin it man. I love it so much.

If you love the word adventure in your games, awesome graphics, next gen living world, and don't really mind about story but are there for the journey and not the destination, then this is THE game for this. I friggin love the crap out of this game. This is what Dragon's Dogma 2 should have been. Also really runs wel even on base ps5

I haven't finished it, and yes there are some issues, but God damn.... This game slaps balls harder than a metal album If you want to really live a power fantasy, go for this one

If you want something new, something fresh, some great storytelling while delivering the best space exploration feeling in a game ever? Go play this game.

This game has: dinosaurs, robots, dinosaur robots, post-apocalyptic world, jaw-dropping graphics and animations, great storyline, and, to finish everything off, it has the best monster hunter/bow arrow combat I have ever seen in a game. Horizon Forbidden West is my most anticipated game (of maybe all time?).

Simply the best game on PS4. The art design, story, performance, cinematography, graphics, combat, etc. Everything is superb and original.

It is a very stylish but also very frustrating game. The ending is horribly short and anticlimactic, the illusion of freedom is breaking the game, there is only 1 (!) simple dumb enemy type in the game, the invasion mechanic gets annoying after the 10th time. IMPORTANT: there unfortunately is only 1 route/way to play/finish this game (unlike Dishnonnored), which is misguiding when looking at the marketing (and also just coming from Hitman 3...) 1) Go play Hitman 3 or Dishonored if you want gameplay freedom. 2) Go play Outer Wilds if you want systematic, story-driven, time-loop gameplay. 3) thank me later.

I think it's quite sad that people follow the hype about trashing on this game. I mean sure it's not for everyone but if you liked/loved the first game you will be blown away by this one. Even if you don't like certain (in my opinion good) choices you must still acknowledge the art and talent behind this project, you can feel the passion in literally everything. Personally I haven't been this impressed by a videogame since the last God of war, i've been looking in awe for hours on end and this game will be stuck in my head for the years to come. Maybe it's not a 8,9 or 10 for you, sure, but a 3-4?? Come on guys, this is not **** Anthem or fallout 76 right? I am not going into spoiler territory but I just can't understand why people do not see this game just for what it is: a survival adventure that focusses on human emotion and behavior, while having a enormous load of details that makes it so damn realistic. 10/10 for me, probably game of the year. I have rarely been so immersed (play it on hard mode like I did).
