Challenging, Tough, and initially very involving and fascinating. But once the new shiny luster wears a little the game is repetitive enough that you can play by a stopwatch it just takes a while to see it. Variety of primary and secondary weapons is flat, beyond underwhelming and just disappointing. And the locations of everything is varied but otherwise gameplay again... is just too repetitive. But these are just two minor insignificant problems, the community is the real problem. Or rather to be more specific... the lack of community is the problem. This game depends on a player base to be playable let alone enjoyable. And that is the one thing that this game is lacking, so as a result the wait times for matches on off peak hours is horrible. ****/app/265590 Do not get me wrong, the game can be some fun if you are in a good group, or have friends that play. But I have found that I am enjoying the company more then the game to the point that we could be playing anything and having just as much fun if not more. But if ever comes closer to 10 dollars, and you go in with at least 6 friends so you can play consistently. then I might recommend it but only if you watched a few hours of gameplay. Its not good but its not bad either, its just meh. An eclectic title for a niche audience that either loves this title or is indifferent to it.

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds1

They advertised multiplayer function, even showed multiplayer clips in there video on steam. But after purchasing I came to find out that the multiplayer will not be available till at least winter2015, it is currently july2015. This is blatant false advertising, clearly bait and switch, and is criminal no matter how you look at it. This game was purchased strictly for the multiplayer co-op and that is clearly not going to happen until the dev feels like delivering the product they promised. So my option are A) get a refund on a game from steam that was less then the cost of a burger. B) consider legal action for a game that cost less then a 5 dollar fill up at kfc. C)keep the game and ever right to b*$#h, whine, piss, and moan about this crime. Letting everyone know about the developers complete, total, and reprehensible lack of any morals, or care for there customers.......I think I will take option c.

Pure disappointment, wasted potential, and another massive knock against crowd funding. I can only recommend that any truly interested watch many, many ,many hours of CURRENT gameplay video. Then beat there smurfin faces with there keyboard to knock some good god damn sense back into themselves before taking a bite out of this big, steaming, **** sammich.

What can I say that has not already been said? The game is still a mess, the dev's continue to be dishonest and deaf to its player base. And over a year and a half after picking it up, I don't see it getting better enough to even keep it on my hard drive. I might revisit the game if they ever get it to live up to half its potential. But until then I will rate it honestly, This game IS NOT a 10 or a 9 nor is it a 0 or a 1. It is what it is, and I just cant recommend this to anyone. But instead of having a post deleted for just mentioning any real complaints I or anyone might have with the game. I will just move on.

Beautiful game,Fun combat, Average quests,Grindfest endgame. All n' all not worth paying a subscription for. That being said is it a bad game no absolutely not, the game makes me want to love it. But that charm only caries it so far, just nothing about the game hooks me and makes me say "I want to play this over well...pretty much anything else in my library". And thats the problem, I cannot justify paying a sub for that... oh well it was some fun for about three months anyway.

After playing for around two years, very heavily at first, then only off and on when it was clear the devs were not listening. But after going back and playing the last to weeks I cant help but feel as though this game is the absolute shining example of squandered opportunity. It sad really, it had so much potential, you can see it everywhere you look in and at the game. But at the end of the day, you find yourself struggling to find a reason to stick around especially when you start the crafting gear grind. It is unique you have to give it that, and is worth a look just for that alone. But it falls short pretty much everywhere, something you see after a month or two.

This is certainly a different take on tower defense games, Its ccg like elements make this one stand out. The card fusing and evolving mechanic is also a different and actually very enjoyable. The only real drawbacks to the game are the imbalance in the towers themselfs. Some towers are just to good not to use in every map while some have no place in the game at all. Also as you progress in the game, earlier maps become **** easy. Overall It has its flaws, but I personally had a great time playing this one took me around 70 hours to beat normal and heroic. Im sure I could have beat it alot quicker, but I was just having a good time with this title.

Got it for the steam Halloween sale for 2.50, and deleted it after 8 hours. As stated in the other reviews its not bad, but its not good either. I just got bored with it, and realistically I have so many other games Id rather play I'm never going to touch this one again. Which says alot because I love zombies, AND twin stick shooters.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City5

So many little issues its kind of hard to list them all, but nothing game breaking. Just enough of them and just annoying enough to kill the potential here. I knew this wasnt your average resident evil when I got it, but was really intrigued by the prospect of something a little different from this franchise. But still even after playing this game with the fixes, the game still feels like it was shoved out the door without the time it needed for proper development. I can only imagine that this must have felt like a hot mess at release. Regardless I was just sort of disappointed even after picking this one up on a steam sale. Bottom line its just ok.... nothing special and not one I could recommend to anyone but not terrible either.Just a title you could take a pass on and not miss a thing, or pick up and wonder how the hell they justified pricing it at anything over 15 or 20 bucks.

Its simple, its funny, its cute, and at 4 bucks its a deal. I was really surprised at how much fun this game actually was to **** how well it all actually worked together despite the odd blend of genres. The bad is this though there is just not enough content here. It needs a greater variety of tenants, it needs more quests, more bosses, more random encounters in between just more more more. Dont get me wrong the replay is definitely there, just not as much as there could be. But as for me Ive put in around 12 hours, and am about to do a cheapie only run...there just sooooo damn cute.

The art style, the humor, the charm, the sometimes brutal cruelty that the game slaughters you with horribly. The replay, the gameplay, The bitter winter chill that runs down your spine as you starve to death half insane during the winter. This game I fell in love with immediately, And honestly was the only game I played for almost a week after I got it. The game is not perfect, and is really I personally feel a niche genre game..though survival horror kinda games seem to be far more popular nowadays. But there in lies the problem as I think this is either a game you love or hate once again completely depending on if you like horror like survival games. And with that in mind its a hard game to recommend. Regardless my score is higher then I would probably normally rate it simply because of the games personality. I love so many thing about this game the art and the humor especially it just makes it different. And that has to count for something, the smile it keeps putting on my face certainly does.

Impire3
Apr 18, 2013
There are so many issues with impires gameplay that I dont think I could cover them all if I tried with the space allotted. Besides everyone else has collectively covered it all, so I will touch on the one thing that disappointed me the most the lack of one ingredient that makes games **** fun. The game bored me....after about 10 hours or so I was forcing myself to keep playing just to find something to really like about the game other then the animation and **** just dragged on and really got worse the more I played it. I took a break and came back to it a day or so later. Trying to clear my mind of its initial impression, and just give it an honest view from a fresh new perspective. the problem was,I was comparing this game to dungeon keeper the first time around.Which disapointed me beyond belife, cause lets face it DK was a great title. But even then, playing the game and letting it stand on its own merits and not comparing it to previous title in the genre I still got bored and frustrate. Wondering the whole time why they elected to use....well just about all the gameplay mechanics. The part that makes me want to pull my hair out though isthat there really is soooo much potential there. It really could be a good game but the potential is completely squandered. And considering Cyanide studios put this out, I would be completely amazed and shocked if they actually did anything with this title. Now this one was gifted to me, and when I saw it was 10 dollars I thought ok 50% off so 5 bucks isnt a total waste..I spend more on lunch. But then realized it was 10 bucks with the 50% off, I myself would not spend 5 dollars on this **** alone the full 20. Hell I just checked ebay and amazon and you can get dungeon keeper cheaper then this title at full price, shipping included. Anyway...rating this game on potential...I could give it a 6 or 7, but I dont rate on **** also as I said earlier Cyanide is the dev. Maybe Cyanide will pull there heads out of there back **** there track record speaks for itself so Im not holding my breath.. Replayability and fun factor are the most important things for me, and as you can see the score I gave it really reflects on this title. If you really want to try this genre I would have to say to buy a copy of Dungeon keepers as it would be cheaper then this title at full price in the steam store(at this time 20 dollars) as Ive already said. But also its a title that will keep you entertained for hours on end. Not to mention that it wont make you want to throw your monitor out the window in frustration XD

Fieldrunners 29

If you liked Fieldrunner, or are fan of the Tower Defence Genre this game is a must have. It has fixed path maps, open path maps, and open maps with fixed points, easily as wide a collection as defence grid(another great TD game). Has around 28 towers all with strength AND weaknesses, and much to my suprise are all very unique.Diffrent gameplay modes, difficulty levels for maps and having to unlock towers makes for countless more replay then the first. Around 20 hours to pass story on casual.

The 4x genre is one of my favorites, and this one felt like a chore after a half an hour or so. I had to force myself through about ten hours of game play, numerous crashes, missing basic functionality, glitchy cameras, and more bugs then a roach motel in the projects. To me the cost **** that makes me want to come back to it over anything else in my library of games is priceless. 60, 80, 100. Its irreverent If Im going to get hundreds of hours of gameplay and enjoyment out of **** needless to say I would I not pay 50 dollar for this title, I would not pay 25, or even 10...hell I played this game for free and I felt ripped off.

Torchlight II9
Sep 25, 2012
So much replay value here from the multiple ways to build the four classes, to the randomized dungeons, mobs, and bosses(skills). Tons of varied equipment, and lots of mob variety, and multiplayer. But most of all.... Its so much fun, Ive lost track of time every single session Ive turned this game on. I dont even know how many timesI could play through this game before I got **** only and I mean the ONLY complaint I have about this game is the fact that you have to push the hold button to keep from charging enemies instead of attacking with auto attacks. But thats always been my bigggest complaint about this genre. Now Im a huge fan of the ARPG genre and have to say this one has more replay potential than any other Ive ever played. The funny part is that the pricing for Torchlight 2's main competition is backwards. This should have been the 60 dollar title and Diablo 3 should have been the 20 dollar title. Yes thats right, I said D3 is t2s competition. But once you max your character in D3, I just moved on to the next class. There is just no replay there, Unless your looking for gear for pvp. But thats a grindfest, thats not really replaying to enjoy the game. Hell Krater has more replay then D3 and is actually fun, D3 felt like a chore after a while. Lets be honest though D3 was a dumpster fire at launch, but blizzard will keep backing up dump trucks full of money to get it where it should have been at launch. And I would without a doubt recommend Krater, before D3. It marched to the beat of its own drum and I liked so many things about the game. And honestly feel like it has more potential then d3, but once again, and most **** actually lots of fun(despite the repetitive combat). Does it compare to T2? yes but in very different ways, either way there far more entertaining(to me anyway),and put together are cheaper then D3. Regardless If T2 had been 60 dollars, I would have had no problem laying my money down. But being asked to pay more **** even 20 for that matter for D3 to me seems....well...almost too much.

My only complaint is the combat......I just felt like it was a little clunky, unintuitive but that wasnt so bad. The reason I gave it a 5 is the simple fact that the combat is just plain repetitive. I like everything else about the game, enough so that I would have given it an 8 or a 9. But the same old grindy feel just killed it for me.
