I did not play this at launch. I picked it up at the beginning of 2024. So, any issues that were in the game originally, I have no experience with. I also bought this on all major platforms but my gameplay experience is strictly on consoles. This game took me by complete surprise. I bought it when it was on sale not thinking much of it at all. Once I started playing it, I was hooked. It has been a very long time since I felt my hair standing up while playing. This game does the sound of the enemies extremely well. Just hearing the creature by me is enough to make me super tense.This game is fully customizable. You can tweak almost everything about the game to give yourself the ideal experience. The layout of the village is unique each time you play it, so you can a different experience each time you play. With all the clues there are to collect in this game, you'll find yourself lost in this game for hours as you unlock the mystery in the town.

Most of the bugs and all of the softlocks have been patched out. I haven't run into any issues on any of the console versions (I own this on all of the platforms). I've been speedrunning this for 2.5 years now and I can say it's my favorite fishing game. I have hundreds of hours into this and I look forward to adding in hundreds of more, once the speedrun glitches are added back in (The switch/ps5 update broke the game).

I absolutely love Link's Awakening growing up. This game gave me the same nostalgia that playing that back in the day. While this is a short game, I've gotten many hours of extra gameplay in the speedrun mode. A recent quality of life update fixed the collision hit-boxes that were there when the game launched. Now the only thing that needs to be addressed is the rolling hit-box. I bounce into so many things that I do not think that I should. This adventure should take you under an hour, so if the price point is to high for you, add it to your wishlist and wait for it to go on sale!
