Updates have really dried out all the fun. Wait for this game to hopefully be fixed and drop in price. Devs seem to be trying to make the game harder, but are doing so in a way that feels cheap. Nerfed weapons, reduced ammo supply, laser aim from AI, enemy weapons shoot through rocks and cover a lot, spawns of patrols within a few meters of players, etc. If they fix it,it's got serious potential
An extremely disappointing installment of Forza. The car leveling scheme is super annoying. It takes about 300 laps to max a car out, so will take about 200,000 laps to unlock all mods for every car. Why?! You have to race 3 practice laps before every single race which gets boring. No Dyno graphs or telemetry data for tuning cars. The lack of assistance options is kinda lame. Traction control is either extreme, hard core or off. I prefer the sliders to dial how extreme it affects the cars. The career races give limited options, which means you're most likely leveling up cars you don't want to drive ever again. The AI is unacceptable. Ramming, randomly turning off course for no reason, clogging the track all bunched together making overtakes nearly impossible without being unreasonably aggressive. There's only one or two drivers that will actually be a challenge, the rest just make the racing frustrating. Lots of random textures that seem aged and disappearing textures. Online races will lag out and have black loading screens mid race. There was lots of potential here but the really missed. I genuinely think a lot of the positive reviews will be edited once they realize how bad the game actually is. Lastly, on PC this game has lots of performance issues. Network disconnects even mid race, poor framerates, occasionally locking up or failure to launch saying data cannot be reached. Very disappointed I bought the Premium Edition. Didn't expect this installment of Forza to be this hokey.
This is a great game ruined by awful developers/ publisher and a crap ton of bugs with no support. You will lose dinos, you will lose your character, you will get "Arked" and support will NOT help you. There are bugs in this game, and lots of them. The game is janky, but it's fun. But the developers are scandalous. Faking steam reviews, lying to customers, playing on the servers and banning tribes that attack them (see h.o.d). They're closing the servers in August 2023 and forcing everyone to start over and pay full price (after being advertised as a free upgrade) for their remaster if they want to continue playing and supporting this awful company. I truly loved this game but with all the times this developer has pooped on it's supporters I cannot imagine this game succeeding after servers go down. And be aware of you buy this game, only single player will be available as of August.
This is a really great game ruined by a slew of technical issues and scum bag developers. Servers being shut off in August 2023, so probably not a good idea to buy it.
This is just a disaster. Unless you like mindlessly grinding for hours and hours playing the same old content you will not like this game. Polyphony must think we are all **** that will throw our money at them to drive fake cars in a game.
They have turned this game into an unpleasant grind overnight. Way to give cheaters even more incentive to cheat by making it drastically harder to earn money legitimately.
This game is broken. Within 20 minutes of starting I lost all NPC dialogue audio. Glad I didn't pay for this and would not recommend buying unless Ubisoft fixes the game and Ubi Connect.
I really tried to like this game but there are just so many times this game leaves me stuck with no clues or direction. For my first 20 hours it seems like 90% of my time is just wandering around looking for what I should be doing. The map is terribly confusing so even when I think I know where I should be I can't find it. If you like a game where you backtrack a ton and have to figure things out without any bit of direction this is your thing. On a positive note, the graphics look great!
It's sad that people aren't giving this game a chance after reading the spoilers. I know it sounds terrible at first, but it sets up all sorts of emotions later into the game and I love that. I really enjoyed the storyline front to back. Gameplay was as great as the first one. It's definitely worth the $60!
