A very enjoyable season of Fargo! They call it fiction, but I’ve met enough Roy Tillmans to know there’s more than a colonel of truth here.

Season 2 is an improvement -- the story hangs together a bit better, although it still helps to have read the books. Unlike many, I'm fine with the cast, and the visuals are top notch. Some will complain that the series hasn't stayed 100% true to the books, but honestly, the early books just don't lend themselves to this medium. They started as short stories that make it difficult to become invested in the characters.

This was a missed opportunity for Netflix to make an adult-oriented SciFi series. The series is fine for kids, but has too many logical breakdowns and scientific non-sequiturs for my taste. Production quality and acting were fine, I thought, so hopefully they'll hire better writers for season 2.
