Need for Speed: Underground9
Aug 24, 2024
This game created the actual racing game as we know it. This game with it's unique and stunning customization, fast pace in both the story itself and the races, great handling (probably the best handling in racing games history), a story that for a racing game of that time was great and could be either relevant or not depending on your way of playing the game. Tracks are really great, and the city itself is really well made for a game that isn't open world. Having tracks that go through the same places really makes this game coherent and consistent, but it can be a little repetitive. That and the not so big carlist make this game not have a 10/10. We gotta thank EA Blackbox, this was the start for the real NFS series, and also inspired lots of other racing games and franchises.

Life is Strange 2: Episode 1 - Roads6
Aug 24, 2024
Great free teaser of what this game offers, still varies too much from the original LIS essence. This game has one of those stunning ambiences that are really present in the series, and is graphically and artistically awesome, still I think the Episode 1 isn't the best way of advertising/encouranging people to play this game. It leaves a lot of questions opened but it doesn't make you feel like you really wanna know the answers. The lack of introduction really makes this Episode confusing, and even more if you weren't a fan of LIS before playing this game. Honestly, I do have to admit that this was the game that got me into the Life Is Strange series, but, playing a game that released previously than this as it is Life Is Strange, it really made me realize the downfall the games were having. Really hope that the return of Max to the series in Life Is Strange: Double Exposure makes the saga return to its original feels.

Fun! Fun! Minigolf TOUCH!4
Aug 24, 2024
Being the best minigolf game for the Nintendo 3DS doesn't necessarily mean it's perfect. Lacks content, only 3 cups and they're hard to master, all thanks to the controls that ruin half of the gameplay experience. The use of the touchscreen is something that was really hard to mess up, mobile games like "Golf Battle" make the touchscreen a easy and sensitive way to play the game. Also the goal of the game is just getting money, which you can't use when you've already bought everything in the shop (trust me, there aren't lots of things in there to buy). This is a great example of good idea, bad execution, also the 3DS definitely needed a good minigolf game and this wasn't it.

This is one of those mobile games that are worth the review. It may look like a simple game, and we already know that nowadays mobile gaming is going both for the graphical improvements and the Pay 2 Win games. If that's what you're looking for this definitely isn't your game, and there are probably a ton of other war managing games for mobile phones out there. But what I like about this one is that its mechanics are really easy to get and learning how to make your own investments and startegies in your army is pretty easy to do for a game with not too many complicated and realistic stuff. This is the perfect game for both people that want to get into the genre and people that's just wants to try something different without having to memorize how each thing in the game works. Sadly, the game doesn't offer anything more after you've conquered everyone and I also don't like how easy it is to get ICBMs in the last straight of the game. Those are my only "problems" with the game. Otherwise, it's easy and fun to play, definitely worth a try.

Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-Bit Land3
Aug 24, 2024
This game was really deceiving, it seemed like a well done platformer, and I love the simplicity it has in it's art, but the gameplay is just infuriating.Every single enemy has a messed up hitbox, which means you're gonna be dying a lot in this game. Levels are repetitive and the boss fights are bland, and speaking about bosses, the same hitbox issue is present in all 4 of them, and having to jump on them most of the time to beat them, it's really dissapointing dying unfairly just because you jump where the boss sprite ends, but not where the hitbox is. The controls are alright, and both Mordecai's spaceship and Rigby's top down view are way too hard to use thanks to it's aiming problems, the spaceship can't go backwards while shooting, so you gotta choose between running from the enemies or risking it all to shoot them, and Rigby kinda has the same problem but in all 4 directions, thankfully this one does have a solution, holding Y makes you shoot always in the same direction no matter what direction you are moving. Also the game has 2 "cutscenes" which look like Powerpoints and the dialogues have no voice acting, which would've been a great way to use the Regular Show's license, it's just recording 2 damn lines of script. The soundtrack is... interesting, in both good and bad ways. I love the 8-Bit music they chose but having the same 3/4 tracks in all the levels, and knowing how often you die in this game, you're gonna be having nightmares with the OST, but the press start screen song is my favorite one by far, and honestly, the music itself isn't the problem, the variety is. The game released in 2013 it can't be that hard to make 8-Bit songs in 2013, and the storage of the 3DS isn't the problem, cause the game in its state it's already pretty light, so 4 or 5 songs more can hurt that much the console.I started playing really interested in the game and I don't even want to keep trying to beat the final boss, cause watching 2 diapositives at the end of the game isn't worth my time honestly.

Concept Destruction8
Aug 24, 2024
This is probably one of the best and most original indie car games of the decade, sure it has a great handling for a destruction derby and has a pretty nice selection of its own cars, I love the fact that it actually has a lore for that and I also like a lot the track designs, with some easter eggs usually scattered all over each track. Personally I think it also has it's downsides, well, there isn't anything actually wrong with the gameplay, controller works great in the Xbox One version (idk about the Steam one tho) and the car handles great, I love the collision physics and damage model, those are all great things really well implemented. But I think the game could use some content, not saying that it should've come with it since it's release, but I think an update or maybe even a DLC would be great to keep this game alive, cause I'd really love to spend more hours playing this game, but I don't have anything more to do, I've already played the campaign twice and got all the achievements. The content I think this game lacks is a racing gamemode (with maybe some new tracks, since all we have right now is derby demolition tracks and derby demolition gamemodes). Even tho this game has split screen multiplayer (which I haven't tried so I can't really say much about it), I think an online multiplayer would be a great addition, either with the current content the game has or either with racing tracks and modes. I'd love to see this turn into a Wreckfest made out of cardboard or something like that. Wish I had more things to do in it.

Grand Theft Auto V9
Aug 24, 2024
The second best GTA of all time. The story is pretty entertaining but not too deep, even tho it has some lore for almost every single one of the characters, even the most irrelevant ones. The controls are amazing and the cars give you that sense of difficulty at the start of the game when you aren't used to the controls and the handling but when you get used to it cars are really responsive and each car has its handling really well done. The missions are pretty entertaining too, but sometimes they get a bit repetitive, usually ending in shooting scenaries against the enemies, usually coming in hordes of 3 or 4 while you go through a building full of them. I'd also like to have a way to store cars in story mode the same way as we do in Online, cause I'd really love to be able to spend the money at the end of the story in lots of cars but there's a lack of storage for them.
